Jenny McCarthy went public with her most recent guy on New Year’s Eve when she smooched sports-agent, Paul Krepelka on the New Year’s Rockin’ Eve TV special.  Then just last month on Ellen, she shared her happiness, gushing about her man.

Well, all that is out the window because they have split.

A source spoke with Life & Style saying,

“The long-distance thing proved too much for them, and they just mutually decided that it wasn’t going to work.  He didn’t want to move to LA, and she certainly can’t move to Boston. They’re still friends; they just couldn’t make it work.”

After seeing Jenny with Jim Carrey for so long, it seems like no one else fits her.  I don’t know why.  I hope she finds happiness with someone new, but maybe, just maybe she and Jim are meant to be together.

Paul even opened up about his relationship  with the Daily Mail,

“We’ve been on a few dates and have been hanging out.  We’re taking things slow and keeping it low key, but Jenny is a really nice girl.”

Well, he sounds like a complete gentlemen, the type not to kiss and tell.  But he is definitely right about Jenny being a really nice girl, she is that!

Jenny McCarthy was supposedly looking for a normal guy to kiss during the New Year’s Eve bash in Times Squre where she was hosting with Ryan Seacrest and Fergie.  Well, I am here to call BS on that little act.  Jenny already had a guy lined up…. her latest boyfriend!  At the stroke of midnight, Jenny indulged in a very passionate kiss with a very hunky guy.

Jenny will be in New York City to spend New Year’s Eve in Times Square with Seacrest and she’s going to have her eyes peeled,

“All those single men – I hope go to Times Square,” McCarthy says. “I’m going to be looking for someone to make out with at midnight.”

It’s only been a year since they tied the knot and they are already done.  Jim Carrey’s gorgeous daughter, Jane Carrey is divorcing her husband, Blood Money singer Alex Santana.  Okay, I’ll get it over with right now.  Look at him!  He’s atrocious!  I can’t believe she thought he was hot enough to marry in the first place!  Jane can do much better than that and I guess it just took her a little bit to figure it out!

So Jim and Jenny McCarthy split, now Jane and Alex.  Hmmmm, I guess that Jim and Jane can have some extra bonding time for now.  Seeing so many breakups these days has to make you thankful for the long lasting, real relationships that we are fortunate enough to witness or actually be in.

I hope that Jim and Jane both find true love and happiness one day in the near future.

When I saw these pictures of Jenny McCarthy over the weekend besides thinking, holy sexiness, I thought ‘what has changed?’.  Is it her hair? Her bronzer? Her boobs? Something seems different but I can’t quite put my finger on it.

Perhaps it’s revenge hotness. You know, when you split up with someone and the best revenge is to look better than ever? Yeah, you know what I’m talking about

So does Jenny when asked how she is enjoying single life now that her and former boyfriend of 5 years Jim Carreysplit (for months ago):

“I’m enjoying it tremendously!”

“Look at me in this outfit,” “Would I not be hitting this? Come on.” She added of the daring look: “I have one more year to pull off an outfit like this, so I better hit it while it’s hot.“

And she’s temporarily moved to Las Vegas while her Los Angeles home is being renovated which she loves:

“I was never really a fan of Los Angeles. Coming out [to Las Vegas] believe it or not, I feel more peaceful.”

Even her 8 year old son, Evan loves Vegas:

“Evan has seen every single show and he’s gone to every casino, every arcade,” she said. “There really is only so much you can do with a kid.”

Um, okay.  Not judging or anything but I’m not a huge fan of kids going to casinos. All those blinking lights and bells going off is bound to entice a kid or two.

There have been rumours circulating that Jim Carrey was out with a bevy of beauties recently sparking speculation that he has moved on from former love Jenny McCarthy.  They are both single and entitled to date, right?

Last night Jenny was seen holding hands with a man after having dinner at Katsuya. My Spidey senses think the timing is a little coincidental (just after the Jim Carrey with those babes’ rumour) and Jenny would know Katsuya is always ripe with paparazzi (it was Katsuya where Jenny took her famous fall which turned out to be a bet by her friend Chelsea Handler) .

Just because they are holding hands doesn’t mean they are doing the deed or romantically involved.  He could be gay and just be a close friend.
