Jewel (who is pregnant with her first baby) got into a nasty car accident near her home in Stephenville, Texas when a fire truck collided with her car.  She  was rushed to hospital, but tests revealed both she and the baby were fine and she was released.

Well, now Jewel is singing the praises of Cadillac.  She shared on her Twitter,

“1 thing I do know is my car saved my & baby’s life-definitely going 2 get another Cadillac SRX! It absorbed all the damage & kept me safe!”

As you can see from the picture below, it is amazing that she and the baby came out of that wreck okay.  Thank God!  So yes, I think that she should get another car just like that.  Baby is due to arrive later this spring.

Jewel and her hubby Ty Murray are pregnant!  Well, Jewel is the the one with a baby bump, but the soon-to-be new parents are so excited.  She found out that she has a bun in the oven on her first day as co-host of Bravo’s new reality show, Going Platinum.

Jewel told People,

“I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!.  It was so hard to keep it a secret. I was worried I’d start throwing up on set and everyone would be like, ‘Oh, she’s pregnant.’  I’m trying to be in the moment and really enjoy my pregnancy.  I feel really lucky.”

I have been listening to Jewel’s music for so many years now and I never get sick of it. She’s currently working on her second children’s album…. this time she’s going to have some personal inspiration.  I can’t wait to hear it.

That is quite a dress that Julianne Hough is wearing as she arrives at last night’s Country Music Awards.  I really miss her on Dancing With The Stars.  It’s been 2 seasons already.  I wonder if she is ever coming back?

Lots of celebrities at the CMAs last night including Matthew McConaughey with his baby momma, Camilla Alves. Matthew presented the Top Male Vocalist of the Year award last night and when doing so told this story which caused the audience to gasp:

“After the show last year, my lady and I, Camila, we even went back to the hotel and conceived the little lady who is now our daughter Vida Alves McConaughey.”

“That’s a true story,” “Now I’m back, I’m having a great time again, but I promise you me and Camila are going to try not to get so lucky this year,” he went on. “Two’s enough! We are flush for a while.”

Camilla was a bit embarrassed at Matthew giving such intimate detail of their life but that doesn’t seem strange because it’s Matthew McConaughey and he’s such a free spirit.  I can’t wait to see Matt Damon imitate him with that one.

The film hits theatres February 12 and apparently a sequel is planned, but this time it will take place on New Years’ Eve.

Dancing With the Stars’ Ty Murray and Jewel announced after diner at Il Sole that they are going to be starting a family!!  This already cute family will become even cuter.  Unless of course they are just playing with the pappers heads!
