Jimmy Kimmel’s beloved Uncle Frank Potenza died at the age of 77 on August 23 and was very much a part of the Jimmy Kimmel Live show. Last night Jimmy couldn’t fight the tears as he paid tribute to his Uncle:

“Listen, I’m gonna try to do this without crying, but I’m probably gonna fail,” he told his audience. “But just turn away or something, because it’s embarrassing. It really is.”

Jimmy told stories of his Uncle including how he could not stand to be late and in fact would show up for hours before something. We aren’t talking 2 or 3 hours, we are talking 10-12 hours early:

“It’s hard to believe he’s now the ‘late’ Uncle Frank because he was never ever late for anything,”

That’s funny. You know Uncle Frank would approve of that. Jimmy went on to say:

“Uncle Frank loved being a part of this show,” he said before showing a video montage of his relative. “And I wanna say thanks to my co-workers who talked to him and visited him and picked him up 12 hours early for work. He loved you. And thanks to all of you who came to the show and watched, for indulging me and letting me put my crazy uncle on television.”

Ashley Herbert narrowly escaped a tormented future with Brad Womack.  Whew!  Now she gets the honors of being the new Bachelorette for the upcoming season that debuts on May 23.

The Bachelor’s Brad and Emily Already Split. For Good.

After the finale on Monday night, Ashley went on Jimmy Kimmel and confessed,

“I feel like this season taught me so much about myself.  It primed me for a new relationship. I’m ready to meet 25 new guys. Bring ’em on!”

So, what does this flock of eager men have in store?

1. She is a dental student: After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Maine, Ashley went on to study at University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, taking time off recently to compete on The Bachelor. Now in her fourth year, she is gearing up to graduate in May with a 3.96 GPA.

2. She is a self-proclaimed romantic: “I watch all the movies, think about ideal romantic dates and am very hopeful for extreme romance to enter my life,” Ashley’s admitted. For her, the ideal date would consist of a night staying in with her guy, a bottle of wine, mood-setting music and a fireplace.

3. She is a Maine native: Born and raised in Madawaska, Maine, Ashley grew up as the youngest of three siblings. During her teenage years, she competed in beauty pageants and was crowned Maine’s Junior Miss in 2002.

4. She loves to dance: After first studying dance in Canada, Ashley took her passion to college, where she minored in dance — studying everything from ballet to jazz to modern — and captained the University of Maine Dance Team.

5. She has tats: Ashley has ink on her inner right wrist, a tattoo that says, “Crazy Beautiful.”

I am looking forward to this round.  Ashley is lovable.  I think she’s going to do well.  Can’t wait!   (Crossing fingers!)

Now this is a funny video. Jimmy Kimmel did a spoof on a workout video called Humpilates which combines pilates and humping into one very neat exercise. He brought Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Biel, Scarlett Johansson and a few other actresses along for the *cough* ride.

You’ve got to watch if not for the celebrities, then for Jimmy’s workout attire.

OMG.  When I first read this, I nearly soiled my pants.  I have been in love with Brian Austin Green most of my life.  Growing up with him, on 90210 of course, I just fell head over heels.  Well, anyhow, enough of the stalker stuff.  Brian Austin Green was on Jimmy Kimmel and they joked about his eight year old son, Kaissus being at the bachelor party,

“He got wasted. He got really wasted.  But he made it through. He sobered up in time.”

His son was his best man his wedding to Megan Fox in Hawaii.  It was an intimate, thought out wedding that the three of them got to share.

Megan Fox & Brian Austin Green Are Married

Does that fact that Brian married Megan make me want to hate her?  Yes.  She’s a total babe and she got a total babe.  He’s such man candy, I just love him. Ooops, there I go again, drooling on my keyboard.

Zac Efron appeared on Jimmy Kimmel last night where he confirmed he did go to the strip joint as reported yesterday. It’s quite a funny interview.  He also discusses girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens‘s reaction to his going.

He also talks about travelling throughout the United States to promote Charlie Saint Cloud.  He’s very funny and charming.

Megan Fox appeared on Jimmy Kimmel live to promote Transformers:  Revenge of the Fallen and she’s quite funny and down-to-earth.  It just makes me think Brian Austin Greene is nuts for letting her go.
