Okay, I seem to be on a wedding roll… so I will just go with it.  Not my fault!  They all chose this weekend!  Nicole Richie and Joel Madden finally made it down the aisle yesterday at her dad, Lionel Richie’s house.

The very happy couple exchanged Neil Lane rings in front of about 130 guests including Gwen Stefani, Ashlee Simpson, Kris Jenner, Samantha Ronson and Joel’s brother Benji Madden….oh, and an elephant.  Yes.  No joke.  I can’t wait to hear the story behind that one and see the beautiful photos.

Nicole Richie isn’t one to announce the meaningful moments in her life.  So don’t expect a press release on this one.  Till after the fact.)  Nicole’s daddy, Lionel Richie has been busy the past couple of days with a lot of big moving trucks unloading at his estate.  Hello…. if you haven’t clued in yet, the wedding is happening this weekend!

Nicole Richie Has Won the War

Joel Madden and Nicole have two beautiful children together and the wedding has been in the “works” for what seems like ages.  I love that they aren’t sharing this big day with the public.  I don’t think they should.  I want them to wait till their day is over.  Till the honeymoon is over.  Then they HAVE to share some photos with us because you know that Nicole is going to make a gorgeous bride and the kids will be in the ceremony as well.  So exciting!

Christina Aguilera Has a New Boyfriend, Matthew D. Rutler

Samantha Ronson is supposed to be a bridesmaid along with Christina Aguilera… yeah, I am so not going there right now.  I am just very, very happy for Nicole and Joel.

Christina Aguilera isn’t wasting any time moving on from her soon to be ex-husband, Jordan Bratman.  She was just seen out on a double date with Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

So who is this new guy?  Matthew D. Rutler is a set assistant on her new flick, Burlesque.  One of Christina’s pals told People,

“It’s not serious yet, but it’s something she is exploring and finding comfort in,” the friend says. “It’s new and she’s taking it day by day. She and Jordan were having problems for a long time. What kept them together is their love for their son. She met [Matthew] on set and, during a difficult time, leaned on as a friend. After she and Jordan separated, the friendship turned romantic.”

Well, I’d much rather see her with Matthew than Samantha Ronson!  Christina admits to being a very sexual person, so I guess we should have seen her moving on quickly from a mile away….girl can’t last long without a piece of fresh meat!

Nicole Richie is doing the rounds promoting her new book Priceless (a story about a rich girl whose life is transformed by unexpected events) and of course was grilled about her impending nuptials to Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden. Nicole recently spent some time in Mexico for her bachelorette party sparking rumours the wedding would be soon, then the rumours were it would be Christmas time.

During the press circuit she was asked if the wedding was soon to which she simply replied ‘yes’. When asked again (because she must love being asked that a million times) on Good Morning America she went into a little more detail:

I’m going to be honest with you, Joel and I are not big planners,” she said. “We just kind of go with the flow with things.”

Okay, that’s not really much detail is it? She was happy to talk about daughter Harlow’s appreciation of the music of her grandfather Lionel Richie:

“She loves him,” she laughed. “When she hears a song or sees an old music video, she goes, ‘Oh, that’s Pop-pop!’”

Nicole Scherzinger strikes a pose at the 7th Annual Global Green pre-Oscar party at the Avalon in Los Angeles last night.  As you know by now, this Pussycat Doll is going to be on Dancing With The Stars when it premieres March 22! I can not wait.  I think she will do exceptional because she is sexy and knows how to work it, am I right?
