I don’t know about you, but I get excited whenever a new Coen brothers movie is announced. I’ve been a fan since Blood Simple and I can quote just about every line from Raising Arizona. I’ve followed them everywhere they’ve led me, through Miller’s Crossing to O Brother Where Art Thou to Burn After Reading to No Country For Old Men and everywhere in between. I don’t love them all. Some I’ve only seen once, but most of their work has ended up on my dvd shelves. All of that is, of course, by way of explanation for my enthusiasm for the fact that Joel and Ethan Coen are (probably) as we speak, on the streets of Manhattan, transforming the Village back into its glorious 60s hayday for their new film, Inside Llewyn Davis. Scheduled for 2013, this is their first film since 2010's True Grit. And it's a comedy! *demented poodle dance*.

In the film, Oscar Isaac plays a  singer-songwriter who must navigate New York's folk music scene during the 1960s. We have some pics of Isaac (currently on screens in Madonna’s W.E.) and the Brothers Coen filming on Friday.

Inside Llewyn Davis also stars Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake, John Goodman, F. Murray Abraham and Garret Hedlund. Obviously still filming, the comedy doesn’t have a set release date yet.

Although it was never confirmed that Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake got engaged over the holidays, it was never denied so we all just hopped on the bandwagon and went with the 'they're engaged' thing. 

Last night Jessica attended W Magazine's Golden Globe celebration ahead of the award show that will air Sunday night but she was sans engagement ring. Does this mean they aren't engaged?

After being on-again and off-again for four years, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are engaged numerous sources are telling US Weekly. 

Justin popped the question to Jessica in late December while the two were on a snowboarding trip in Jackson, Wyoming according to an insider:

"Justin knows how much she loves snowboarding and the mountains, so it was the perfect place,"

Actually that sounds very lovely and romantic, doesn't it?

Apparently Justin has never been happier and knew this was his window of opportunity to make her an honest woman.

Earlier this year corporal Kelsey De Santis asked Justin Timberlake to the Marine Corps Ball and we reported in July that Justin said yes! Well he made good on his promise earlier this month when he attended the ball on Saturday (yesterday) at the Greater Richmond Convention Center in Richmond, Virginia.

Someone that was in attendance at the ball snapped this picture of Justin proving he was there. Kelsey's make-up artist Aimee Lupino said the corporal was not at all phased by Justin's star factor:

She printed a pic of herself and autographed it for Justin!," wrote Lupino.

Lupino also said that Timberlake received a gift bag of things that De Santis put together for him, related to what she believes were things having to do with Marine Corps life.

I seriously love this girl and something tells me Justin would find it very cool she was so unaffected. Aimee goes on to say:

"Kelsey is just a beautiful person inside and out and Justin Timberlake was lucky to be her date to the Marine Corps Ball!,

Kelsey is pictured below with her hair up (she's standing in the back) wearing her uniform. She kind of looks a bit like Katherine Heigl to me. She later changed into an evening gown. That is absolutely fabulous that Justin honored his commitment and went with her.

Jessica Biel is smolderingly sexy for December's Elle Magazine cover and throughout the issue. She got personal with the magazine too, but not too personal. The 29 year old actress still won't talk about Justin Timberlake because “A girl doesn’t kiss and tell.” True. But she could act it out like charades or something. We are dying to know what's going on with these two. 

Jessica is not your average girl (and I can totally relate to that) in that she didn't always have a burning desire to have kids:

“Sure, of course. And, yeah, I think probably at some point it would be something I’m interested in. But I don’t feel pressured. I was never one of those girls who dreamt of my wedding and my Prince Charming. To piss off my mom, I used to say, ‘I’m never having kids, and I’m going to be a fabulously rich old maid living in a house with cute butlers and dogs.’”

You would be surprised to learn that she would have no problem leaving show business and pursue other ventures:

“Absolutely. I’d love to write. I wrote a lot of short stories and poetry when I was a kid. That was my creative outlet. I’ve written a short film, and I write poetry.”

After going nude for her film Powder Blue, she still would do it again:

“I wasn’t so scarred by that experience that I’d never do it again. If a director I trusted came to me with an amazing opportunity and it felt organic, I would do it.”

The role that got away:

“The Notebook. That’s one that I wanted so badly. I was in the middle of shooting Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and I auditioned with Ryan Gosling in my trailer—covered in blood. [Director] Nick Cassavetes put me through the wringer in an interesting, excitingly creative way. But there’s a million that get away. We’re gluttons for punishment. It’s just rejection.”

There's no comparison between the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Notebook but sometimes things work out the way they are intended to.

Oh to be an audience member at last night's Jimmy Fallon show where Justin Timberlake returned for the two to perform History of Rap 3.

I think Part 3 is the best of the bunch. I wish Jimmy and Justin would go on tour together, or cut an album or do both. Their energy, enthusiasm, personality and talent is exceptional.
