Miss Personality Kate Gosselin appeared on The Today Show with Ann Curry and told the host that her kids missing filming a reality show:

"Everyone is excelling school across the board," the proud mom told anchor Ann Curry. "We've had a great school year."

Still, "They really honestly miss filming," Gosselin shared. "They've been saying, 'When are we going to go here or there? We miss the crew.'"

Keep in mind the twins are 11 while the other six are all 8. Is it really them wanting that or is mommy 'leading' them down that path. Hard to say. And just in case we aren't buying the kids desire for a reality show (snort), she's got all bases covered:

We're hoping to move forward and do more projects," Gosselin explained. "Fans are begging [to see more]. ‘They’ve grown up, they turned eight. What are you doing [now]?'"

She and Jon Gosselin (the ex-husband she used to emasculate before our eyes) are getting on quite well and working together to raise their kids. Sorry (although I'm really not) if my post seems very unflattering to her, but she strikes me as a very unhappy, selfish person who will do what it takes to reach her objectives (like using her kids as pawns). I'm not saying she doesn't love her kids. I think she does greatly, but after seeing her on that show and then on Dancing With The Stars, I think a personality transplant couldn't hurt.

Kate Gosselin hasn’t had a love life since her marriage to Jon Gosselin fizzled out.  So what gives?  Oh yeah, she’s got eight kids and she is managing them all on her own,  save for two weekends a month.

Kate Gosselin Has Met the Man of Her Dreams

She went on the Today show this morning and talked about a potential suitor…..

“You start out the first time around, and you’re some single girl with not a lot of baggage or issues.  I like to have fun, and I don’t have a lot of time for myself. I do have eight kids. I feel like I have my life together, pretty much. But let’s be honest. It’s going to take a strong person to wrangle this mess.”

Kate is only 36 and deserves to have a loving, lasting relationship… but it’s not easy!  The guys have to be intimidated by the eight kids factor… but could they pass the test?!

“Probably. If he can pass the test, he’s got to be Superman.”

Aside from the lack of dating, Kate is doing well.  Her focus remains on the kids who are definitely thriving,

“They’re actually starting to integrate back in, within the very imminent future,” Gosselin says. “They’re doing wonderfully at home. They’re reading at the top level for kindergarten, as well as writing. And they’re doing amazingly well … They’re blossoming.”

As for things with Jon, that hasn’t chanced much.  Kate is just working on how she handles HERSELF when it comes to dealing with him.  That is a very good thing.

I still give huge props to Kate.  She’s received so much grief.  And I would still like to point out that she didn’t ditch those kids, go off the deep end of partying and sleeping around.  She has stayed committed to them, and there is nothing more to expect from her.

And mine for that matter.  How adorable is Kate Gosselin’s hair?  The mother of eight is rocking this super hip, sexy style thanks to Ted Gibson, stylist to the stars.

Kate paid him a visit at his NYC salon and came out looking like this.  I am loving it.  In fact.  I may just have to go get this cut. Kate’s friend said that,

“Kate adores Ted; he totally transformed her look last year. She would never go anywhere else. Even though it means coming to New York to see him, Kate thinks it is totally worth it.”

I hear you girl!  That is definitely worth the trip.  If only all stylists could work that kind of magic!  And hello!  How much of an upgrade is this look from Kate’s scary hairdo of the past?

Dancing With the Stars Tony Dovolani and Kate Gosselin took some time out from their rehearsals and attended the New York premiere of Discovery Channel’s Life where Tony kept it real with US Magazine about Kate’s dancing skills:

“She’s definitely not the best dancer,” “She’s never taken a step of dancing in her life, but she’s very hard-working. She’s willing to try everything. So, for me, it’s like I have an empty canvas that I can create a masterpiece. It’s a great opportunity to show America what I’m capable of – which is teaching somebody who has never danced before.”

Their main competition is considered to be Olympic figure skater Evan Lysacek:

“We have some serious front runners,” “I told her right from the start, ‘Kate, this is not going to be easy.’ She’s ready for it.” “If she sticks to rehearsals, “I think she’s going to do incredible,” “I’ve never seen anybody be as driven as she is. When she comes in, whether it’s five hours or six hours of rehearsal, it’s pretty intense the entire time. It’s about learning and learning and learning.”

Regardless Tony thinks a win is absolutely possible:

“I always think I have a shot” “There’s never a season I enter and I don’t think I have a shot. I approach everybody the same. If they are willing, it’s possible. The most talented people in the world normally don’t win and they’re the hardest workers.”

Oh it’s on!! Dancing With The Stars is ramping up and Annie is getting mighty excited. I really hope this season is a fabulous season which airs on Monday, March 22 with a two-hour premiere event! Woo hoo!

Derek Hough and his partner Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger are seen leaving Toast where they had lunch taking a break from their practicing.  I think it’s fairly safe to say Nicole will do fabulous considering she is sex on stilettos and can move like nobody’s business.  She dancing on stage all the time and seems naturally inclined in that way so this one is a no-brainer.

Kate Gosselin is seen in New York where she is headed to a dance studio to practice. She has admitted she can’t dance but maybe her inner stripper will come out (we all have one, don’t judge).  She is paired with Tony Dovolani.  He’s a nice guy so I really hope that Kate doesn’t trample all over him.  I doubt he would take it and maybe it’s just Jon that set the nag dial up to its limit.

I must admit I’m a little ashamed of myself for doing this post because I really haven’t allowed myself to get caught up in the Kate/Jon Gosselin frenzy that is their marriage and I made a silent little vow to myself not to do posts on them, especially now that they are dragging each other through the mud.

I do know that he was on Larry King on Friday night (??) talking a great talk about how it’s now for the kids, blah, blah, blah. Of course this coincided with the fallout he had with TLC and how he is dropped from the show but he did ’seem’ sincere about putting the best interests of the children first and foremost.

So I thought it mighty peculiar that the last couple of days since that interview, his puss is splattered all over the place sans kids of course.  Of particular interest was him having lunch at The Ivy, because nothing says low-key and inconspicuous more than having lunch at The Ivy, am I right?  

And then of course building a milkshake at Millions of Milkshakes but that’s not publicity for him because his milkshake has 8 ingredients for his 8 children, cuz it is all about them after all.  So now I’m starting to think ‘douchebag’ (not that I didn’t think it before).   There is also a picture of him at a baseball game that I don’t think I’m allowed to post, but it just goes to show it ‘appears’ Jon is on quite the little publicity tour.   Perhaps he is feeling the need to secure employment, but for someone who recently said he hated that he couldn’t live a normal life, this doesn’t make sense.

TMZ is now reporting that he ‘allegedly’ emptied his joint bank account with Kate of $200K leaving her barely $1,000 in it.  Why that ought to feed 8 kids for a very long time, no? 

TMZ is also reporting that Kate has hired lawyer Marty Singer who is considered a pitbull in legal circles to go after Jon.  There is a court order to freeze their account so that one can not withdraw funds without the consent of the other. 

I guess Jon’s version of ‘saving the marriage’ as he told Larry King he wanted to do, is quite different than the average person’s?

According to this week’s issue of Us Magazine, Kate Gosselin used to give Jon Gosselin $5 a week allowance.  That is really too funny.  His former employer at Style Craft Corp, David Rothermel:

“She used to give him only $5 to spend, and if he was out and needed more money, she would give him hell,”

David said Jon was fired from that job because he misused company resources and spent a lot of time looking on the internet for freebies for the kids.  David goes on to say:

“She came in raising hell because Jon’s father was supposed to bring her lunch and he was late,” Rothermel recalls. “She got up out of bed rest to come in and yell at anyone who would listen!”

Around the same time a friend of the family donated a 14-passenger van to the family, and Kate “never thanked him,” says a source close to Jon. Instead, “she traded it in because she hated the color burgundy.”

Normally when I read this type of thing I always take it with a grain of salt and try to remember this is one person’s viewpoint and it’s influenced by how they choose to see someone.  We all have people in our lives that judge us not based on who we actually are, but who they have decided we are.  

But in this case, because the shows show Kate in action, I actually believe it.  I’m not sure what type of outcome Kate would expect in her marriage when she treats him the way she does.   I’m not saying any alleged adultery is okay, because it’s not.  I’m talking about treating him with disrespect and dismissing his needs and feelings.  You reap what you sow.
