You know, when I heard those rumors that Russell Brand sent Katy Perry an email after he saw her at the 2012 Coachella with that dude from that band, I KNEW they were not true. I mean, come on. This is a man who is stone-cold sober and knows what he's doing. 

Today we acknowledge that there is no way in hell he is begging her to come back or that filing for divorce was the biggest mistake of his life: he has unfollowed her on Twitter. Is there any other proof required? That's right, there's not. If you ever need questions answered people, turn to social media. It's there. It might be subtle, but it's there.

Mind you, IF those email rumors are true (and we know they aren't) maybe she rejected him and he said screw you! Or maybe it just freaking occurred to him that he hadn't unfollowed her ass.

Either way: my plan is coming together. He will be mine. Oh yes, he will be mine. Send condoms. Thank you.

Katy Perry hit up 2012 Coachella Music Festival yesterday for Day 3 of Week 2 of festivities and she did it with a huge statement: she is OVER Russell Brand. The two were married for 14 months when he blindsided her (or not) by filing for divorce on December 30, 2011.

The Teenage Dreams singer attended the event with her new boyfriend 'Florence and the Machine' guitarist Robert Ackroyd where they didn't hold back and were seen kissing and hugging.

They attended last weekend's festival where they were seen holding hands but she could have just been leading him through the crowd, right? Wrong. These two are definitely an item.

Perhaps there really is nothing to those stories that Katy Perry wants to win Russell Brand's heart back because here's a picture of her and her 'alleged' new boyfriend 'Florence and the Machine' guitarist Robert Ackroyd.

A source tells Life & Style that she refers to him as her 'boyfriend':

"Backstage at the Artist Lounge at Coachella last weekend, Katy kept saying her boyfriend was the guitar player for Florence + the Machine," a source tells Life & Style. "She and a bunch of friends were supposed to go see Dr. Dre together, but Katy said she was waiting to watch her boyfriend perform!"

They both follow each other on Twitter so you know it's got to be pretty serious (I kid). They could just be friends and she was guiding him and grabbed his hand. Or they could be an 'item'. Either way I'm hungry.

Stories are swirling around the internet that Katy Perry wants to reconcile with my future lover (her ex-husband) Russell Brand and I'm calling B.S. on this one although I wouldn't blame her one bit because he probably rocked her world in more ways than one. And seeing him in this video just confirms to me he would probably be pretty amazing to hang with.

The story first originated on US Weekly with their 'exclusive' on how she is miserable and realizes she misses him yada, yada, yada. But remember back when she and Russell first split and all of those stories were coming out? She made a statement on Twitter that NO ONE speaks for her so I'm pretty sure this 'source' doesn't speak for her. Or maybe they heard her say it. Who knows. This close pal of hers tells the publication:

Katy's been trying to get him back!"  "She's a lost soul right now."

While on the one hand I can see where she may wish she were back with him because her actions since the split speak of someone crying out for attention (see here, here and here and not to mention one week after he filed for divorce her 'heart is happy again') or incredibly hurt which makes this story even more unbelievable. And she's also back to smoking which to me could mean something.

The ex-hubby has been boinking his way through Hollywood and seems at peace with the fact that they aren't married any more, so even if she came crawling on her knees, while he may be delighted she's assumed the position (he is a pig afterall), it doesn't seem like settling down is in his future ever again.

Just remember the opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference (like Russell is toward her and marriage) and that is usually impossible to turn around.

Day 2 of the 2012 Coachella Music Festival took place in Indio, California and some of the same celebrities were still rocking the event such as Jared Leto, Kate Bosworth and Vanessa Hudgens but we've got some new sightings: Katy Perry, Fergie, Josh Duhamel, a VERY buff Kellan Lutz, Emma Roberts and her boyfriend Glee's Chord Overstreet. 

I love the dress Katy has on but I don't like that it's so see-through. Mind you she looks great in it but I don't think the average person would walk around like that, do you?

Let's talk about Kellan. How buffed up is he? He looks HUGE. I looked on IMDB to see if it was for a role, but based on what he's currently filming it doesn't seem so. Perhaps he is preparing for an upcoming role. Either way it's delicious eye candy isn't it?

Is Kate Bosworth's boyfriend married? He's got a wedding band on his finger and I'm wondering if it's just symbolic of his commitment to her or there's a wife at home which would make him the dumbest guy on earth really.

Russell Brand is purging his life of all things Katy Perry. First was his refusal to request any of her money in their divorce despite the fact he was legally entitled to half (they did not have a prenup and she made tens of millions of dollars during their marriage). TMZ is reporting that he's giving her the house they purchased together during that time having signed a quitclaim giving her all rights to the property. 

Nothing says I am over you than taking a hit on some real estate. Man, he just wants OUT doesn't he? I don't blame him life is too short to be unhappy. Money doesn't buy happiness and this British comic is not a materialistic guy. 

It's funny, people have put Russell down since their marriage, but he's proven himself to be a class act. He didn't take advantage of their situation and try to take her to the cleaners and she is worth much more than him. Could it be the guilt of the alleged cheating? Who knows. Maybe he will shed some light on their marriage in his Booky Wook Number 3 that he is apparently writing.

The two were married in a lavish wedding in India October 23, 2010 until he filed for divorce December  30, 2011.

Although neither Katy Perry or Russell Brand have commented on why their marriage tanked, her best friend Markus Molinari took to Twitter and may have divulged that the British comic cheated on her. Unless of course there is another 'Russell' to which he refers:

If this is true this saddens me that Russell would do this (and I can't really stand the girl). Back in October of 2010 Katy claimed he would NEVER cheat on her because she's a 10 out of 10 in the bedroom, but you know those things don't matter if a guy is bent on cheating. I'm not saying he did (although given his HUGE sexual appetite who's surprised if it is true) but she's pretty naive to make a statement like that. Having said that I would never wish this on her.

However if he did cheat on her, I would think that he would address it in his Booky Wook number 3 that he is working on. I mean he's an open book and has exposed all of his flaws so why would that be any different. This WOULD explain a lot though wouldn't it?

Katy Perry's new guy Baptiste Giabiconi tweeted a pic of the two of them all cozy and the Daily Mail is reporting that this is going to eat Russell Brand up with jealousy. What a laughable concept considering he was the one that filed for divorce, he is the one that has been quiet and he is the one that is constantly switching it up with the ladies. Do you know what the opposite of love is? It's indifference.

Katy on the other hand tweeted that her heart was happy again ONE WEEK after Russell filed for divorce, she unfollowed him on Twitter and sang that revenge song at the Grammy Awards. Doesn't that sound like someone who isn't really over her ex? Meanwhile what has Russell done? Banged a lot of other women. 

The online publication goes on to say that a friend of the French model say he is very 'smitten' with Katy and that:

'Baptiste is an incredible model, musician, and humanitarian,' 

DM then goes on to say:

This will only add salt to the wound for comedian Brand who was spotted on the set of a new film today in New Orleans.

You've got to be kidding me right? Whether or not smurf head is trying to get him jealous is one thing but him actually being jealous is another thing. I call this story bullsh*t.
