PLEASE let this be true! Word is that Sex and The City is heading back to television, bitches! How amazing is that. Can you imagine seeing Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis back? Although the first Sex and The City movie was good, I don’t think the second one was at all. Sorry, just my opinion. But for it to come back to T.V.? That is sweet indeed.

According to the Daily Mail Sarah Jessica Parker is contemplating the return to television but Darren Star (the show’s creator gets the final say. A source to the Daily Mail says:

“She was worried about doing another film after the bad reaction to the SATC2 movie, but a TV show is definitely something she wants to happen”

They are talking about the show being a ‘prequel’ which means other stars will be playing younger versions of Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda. Some names being batted around as top contenders are Elizabeth Olsen, Blake Lively, Selena Gomez and Emma Roberts. That’s all fine and dandy, but I think the audience is looking to see the original ladies return. I don’t care how good those actresses are, they aren’t the original ladies.

Kim Cattrall’s latest role in “Meet Monica Velour” required her to gain 20 fricking pounds! And she loved every minute of it she told Piers Morgan on Friday night:

“You eat whatever the hell you want!”

“It was heaven putting it on,” she said, “it was freaking hell taking it off.” It was a departure from her past acting roles: “My whole life I have been on a diet, literally.”

The movie couldn’t be more of a departure from her role as Samantha Jones on Sex and The City in which she plays Linda Romanoli:

When an awkward teen meets his favorite porn star, whose career peaked in the ’80s, an unexpected friendship follows as the young man gets a glimpse inside Monica Velour’s current life as a single mom struggling to make ends meet

The 54 year old gorgeous actress admits to Piers that she has a huge appetite (oh man can I ever relate to that) and how she has always been on a diet.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon have taken Sex and The City to London to premiere their sexiness.  Joining them were Mr. Big himself, Chris Noth and Mario Cantone.

I aint never seen any hair accessories at Walmart the likes of which is on SJP’s noggin.  It kind of blends in with the trees, but I tried to get a couple of pictures where you see it real good.  And I’m sorry

And despite the film getting some not-so-good- reviews (critics don’t always speak for us now do they?) their midnight ticket sales are up from the first Sex and The City Movie from 2008 grabbing $3 million! Two years ago, on Memorial Day weekend, Sex and The City made $57 Million.  Do you think SATC2 will surpass this?

Sex and The City 2 had it’s world premiere last night in New York City to a frenzy no doubt.  There were almost 500 pictures of the event and can you believe the only one that showed Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis together was this one showing part of SJP’s ass hanging out?  And Kristin Davis isn’t even visible either.  But there are lots of other pictures where you can see the ladies.

The movie opens Friday and everyone seems to be bursting at the seams waiting for it.  The men of Sex and The City also attended the premiere:  Mario Cantone, Willie Garson, Chris Noth, John Corbett, Jason Lewis, and Gilles Marini.

This was one majorly star-studded premiere with a ton of celebrities attending.  The list is way too long to include everyone but here are some of the attendees:

Sex and the City 2 opens in theatres May 27 and the latest promotional poster shows the girls photo shopped to epic proportions.  In particular Kim Cattrall doesn’t even look like herself.  What the hell?

Sarah Jessica Parker looks quite a bit younger (as does Kim Cattrall) and her face is very elongated and thin.

If I had to say, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon look the most ‘normal’ on the poster. And by normal I mean how they actually look.

It really makes you wonder why studios release posters like this.  It’s insulting to the average consumer given we are going to look at it and say ‘this is photoshopped’.  Or maybe they want all that talk? Who knows what is behind that decision.  However, advanced ticket sales are apparently quite massive.

Kim Cattrall doesn’t mind not having a man in her life, because she has her cat:

“Home is London because that’s where my cat, Kobi, is. I brought her over here. There is nothing better when you are single than you come home and have a cat waiting for you.”

She is currently in London appearing at the Vaudeville Theatre performing in Private Lives.  She doesn’t regret not having kids:

“It’s fine, it really is. I’m a pretty good aunt and I have a lot of friends with kids. ”At the end of the day I like to go home and be quiet and have time to relax.”

Don’t get the wrong impression though, she doesn’t have anything against relationships:

“Being single and being with someone both have their good points and challenges, but I am very happy being single right now.”
