Ten year old Torontonian Maria Aragon was invited by Lady GaGa herself to perform with her when she hits Toronto on February 28 and of course Maria will take her up on the offer she confirmed to Good Morning America:

“Gaga invited me to her concert in Toronto to sing with her. Of course I’m gonna be nervous because she’s so big and I’m only beginning”

Maria has shot to fame with over 14 million YouTube views of her video singing ‘Born This Way’ which Lady GaGa not only tweeted the video but wrote:

“Can’t stop crying watching this. This is why I make music. She is the future”.

Then later when Maria was on Winnipeg’s Hot 103 radio station, Lady GaGa called in and told her:

Not only do you have such a beautiful voice and you’re so joyful to watch. Every once in a while, whether people believe it or not, I was having a very bad day… and I was sent the video of you singing ‘Born this Way’ I was so overjoyed I began to cry. Thank you so much for making my day better”.

I’m pretty sure I’m one of the only people who hasn’t seen her video. I can’t believe her amazing piano skills along with her voice! What do you think of it?

The problem is, most of us won’t want to try them out.  Lady Gaga talked to the Sirius Morning Mash Up about her ways of staying in shape and well, tiny.  The usual… you know, exercise and a strict diet.  Only this diet isn’t the no carb type or anything like that.  It’s the drunk diet.

“I am on the drunk diet,” Gaga said. “I live my life as I want to, creatively. I like to drink whiskey and stuff while I am working. But the deal is I’ve got to work out every day, and I work out hung over if I am hung over. And it’s about the cross-training and keeping yourself inspired. I have to say, I do a ton of yoga.”

Well, this is the answer I’ve been searching for for years.  All I need to do is keep a nice supply of Jack Daniel’s on hand and my yoga mat out on the floor, and I will be fit and sexy, just like Lady Gaga.  Brilliant.

Lady GaGa appeared on Good Morning America as part of the MAC Viva Glam campaign which raises awareness and money for fighting HIV around the world and did so in a flex-coloured latex condom inspired dress:

“Today was a latex condom-inspired outfit because we’re here to talk about safe sex. Today I really wanted to be representative of what we women all over the world need to be concerned about, which is the leading cause of death in the world, which is HIV.”

She also urged parents to be more open with their children about safe sex:

“MAC has been fighting for identity, and for passion and love and protection for so long and that’s why I’m here. We raised $34 million last year and I want to raise $50 million this year for AIDS to save lives worldwide (sic). “I want to get people started at home at a younger age with their children talking about HIV, talking about AIDS, talking about safe sex. My mother talked to me about sex at a young age, and she always taught me to be self-aware… I encourage women all over the world, and men, to speak with your friends, your parents, your sister, your brothers, your uncles, your aunts, all the loved ones in your life, about safe sex, about protection, because it is a 100 per cent disease that we can prevent, but it is zero per cent curable.”

Lady GaGa reaches a lot of people so a lot of good has and will come out of her being part of this campaign. Notice her face still has her alien type facial marks from her egg incubation?

Lady Gaga’s performance last night at the 2011 Grammy Awards was probably the most hyped.  And in my opinion, the biggest letdown.  She arrived in an alien egg, WTF?  Okay, so we expected absurd, but we also expected her to show up when she got on stage and she failed.  Her first live performance of Born This Way was so bland and so not what I expected, I was pretty bummed.  Plus, after seeing it, I really think it was actually a knockoff of Madonna’s Express Yourself.  WHY?!

Just when you think you’ve seen everything from Lady GaGa she outdoes even herself. Lady GaGa is at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards as an ‘egg’ that I sincerely hope has ventilation because according to her entourage she is currently ‘incubating’ and will be ‘hatched’ during her performance.

It looks like it is steaming up in there, but apparently it is not hot in there and she can breathe. Clearly the girl does not have issues with claustrophobia.

She is ‘dialating’ so they are whisking her into the auditorium. I can hardly wait to see her performance.

So Madonna has noticed, along with the rest of the world, that Lady Gaga’s new single, Born This Way is a total ripoff of Madge’s 1989 hit, Express Yourself.

So what’s Madonna doing about it? Well, her subtle “calling out” was done simply by posting her Express Yourself video on her Youtube page.

Okay, so what do you think?  It’s such a ripoff, right?  I am actually pretty disappointed in her.  She is always being this original, unique artist, then she pulls that.  Kind of makes not sense.

Lady Gaga met her boyfriend Luc Carl’s parents over the holidays.  But now it seems that that may have been the beginning of the end.

An insider talked to Life & Style,

“Gaga and Luc are fighting a lot.  Their relationship has never been perfect — it’s always been tumultuous — but now it’s hanging by a thread.  When she and Luc were catching up with her old pals in New York over New Year’s, he made zero effort to get to know them,” says the insider. “He sat in the corner at the bar and pretended like no one else was there. Meanwhile, she was so happy to see everyone and catch up.”

Apparently Luc is just using Gaga for her fame?

“They think he’s using her because of how famous she is.  He doesn’t treat her very well.”

Well if this report is true, Gaga needs to get out of that relationship like now.  She has millions of little monsters that would love to have the chance to treat her right.

Have you noticed that Lady GaGa hasn’t been in the news much but Nicki Minaj has? Have you also noticed how Nicki Minaj is getting more and more outrageous with the costumes and headgear?

Uh-huh.

Nicki won this fight and I must confess it looks good on her. No one else could pull this off without irritating the sh*t out of people. Least of all DuhDuh. If DuhDuh’s followers are little monsters, Menage’s should be carnival clowns.

Can you hardly wait for the time when both DaDa and Menage au trois are up for the same music awards and both attend? Will be epic.
