I actually adore Piers Morgan.  I think he’s truly adorable and his quick wit is utterly…. hot.  I know.  Call me crazy but, when he was on Celebrity Apprentice, I really loved the guy.  He’s so up front.  He doesn’t take crap from anyone.  The man has balls!

Anyhow, now that he’s taken over for Larry King on CNN, he’s laying down his own law and I am loving every bit of it.  That’s called being real people!

Piers doesn’t like everyone.  Who does?  And guess what?  Piers isn’t going to kiss anyone’s arse to pretend like he likes them either.  What you see is what you get with this guy.  And what he’d like you to see is the list of celebrities whom he will never interview on CNN.  Why?  Because he doesn’t have to.

Wesley Snipes believes in miracles and so do I.  BUT, he just needs to face something called, reality.  He broke the law by trying to rip off the American government by not filing his federal income taxes.  The boy could afford it.  He just wanted to behave like a total douche, like he’s above the law.  Lesson learned?  He’s NOT.

Tomorrow Snipes has to turn  himself in to federal prison but last night, typically livin’ on a prayer, he told Larry King,

“We still believe in miracles. Don’t sell me up the river just yet.”

Snipes can keep believing in miracles and meanwhile, he will begun his three-year prison sentence in Pennsylvania.

How do you feel about tax evasion?  Is Snipes getting too harsh of a punishment or did the judge get it right?

Mel Gibson is trying to completely take baby Lucia away from Oksana Grigorieva today.  His lawyers are appearing in court to ask Judge Scott Gordon to give Mel sole custody of of Lucia, allowing Oksana only supervised visitation with no overnight visits.

So why is Mel doing this?  Because Oksana bashed him to bits on Larry King Live and he’s pissed about it.  The weird thing is that the judge gave Oksana fair warning not to speak with any media outlets, saying that he’d take custody away.  Mel’s lawyers are saying that she’s not acting in the best interest of Lucia by saying all those things about Mel on TV.

Neither of these blithering idiots have been acting in the best interest of the baby.  Hello! We all heard those tapes!  Mel is not sane.  He shouldn’t have custody, but I don’t know that Oksana should either!  She can’t keep a lawyer or a story straight.  What kind of a mother is she really?

With the recent tragic suicides of 5 gay teens (in one week), Larry King’s show last night focused on this issue and had on his panel Wanda Sykes, Kathy Griffin, Tim Gunn, Lance Bass and Nate Berkus to discuss their own issues with being gay. Kathy is not gay (to my knowledge not that it matters if she is or isn’t) but she is a huge gay activist.

Lance Bass admitted to bullying gays in high school because he was trying to hide his own sexuality. I was surprised by that but easy for me to say having not experienced what he has experienced in life.

Gay teens are four times higher to commit suicide than other teens. This is beyond tragic and needs to stop. The hatred to someone who is of a different sexual orientation as what is considered the ‘norm’ is no different than racial hatred. Tim Gunn himself tried to commit suicide when he was 17 years old.

People dismiss bullying as being ‘typical’ of teenage behaviour but I disagree.  I realize that teenagers feel the need to ‘fit in’ to their peer groups but bullying needs to stop for whatever reason a person is being bullied.  Parents need to step it up and lead by example and society as a whole needs to take this issue much more seriously.  Hatred is hatred.

Those crazy kids of Hollywood Larry King and his wife Shawn Southwick look like they’ve patched things up as they strolled around Beverly Hills with their arms wrapped around one another, but that would be a wrong assumption.

Larry and Shawn are showing a united front during their stroll as well as at their son’s baseball game where despite both filing for divorce and Shawn claiming Larry is stooping her sister, they are all smiles and still wearing their wedding rings.

Did Larry come to his senses and realize he has way too many wives to pay support to and figures the cheaper thing to do is remain married, he he he have a change of heart?  Even if he did it may be a little difficult for Shawn to overlook all the expensive ‘gifts’ he gave to her sister like a car and Cartier purchases.

According to TMZ Larry is trying to get back the three pieces of property he transferred to Shawn’s name by saying she and her lawyers used undue influence to make him sign the houses over.  Apparently Shawn threatened to go to the tabloids when she discovered Larry had been buying her little sister pricey gifts (five years ago).

Larry King is about to declare a tie on divorces with Elizabeth Taylor.  Today he filed for divorce (it will be his 8th) from Shawn Southwick (she also filed for divorce today) after a huge fight last night TMZ is reporting.

Apparently the fight resulted from Shawn accusing Larry of cheating on her with her sister!  And she says she has proof: Over the years Larry has transferred property to Shawn to prove he is commited to the marriage, but Shawn says it’s simply the guilt that got to him.  And by properties I mean a Beverly Hills mansion, and houses in Provo & St. George, Utah.

I don’t think Shawn realizes how easy she has it:  real estate in her name AND she doesn’t have to sleep with Larry King (assuming he is in fact screwing others..how much stamina does someone of his age possibly have).  What’s the problem?  Well for starters, Larry is going to try to overturn the legal documents transferring the properties to her name.

Shawn’s sister Shannon Engemann is adamant that she and Larry aren’t having an affair and goes on to say:

“I’m tired for taking the rap for things.  I did not have an affair with Larry.  He’s been like a father to me.”

You just know this is going to be a long and painful process for all of us as the mudslinging begins.
