Leonardo DiCaprio confesses he is sick of travelling and living on movie sets and wants to live a normal life. He tells Parade Magazine:

“What I definitely feel a need for is to make my life about more than just my career.

“Just last night I was thinking to myself how little of my life has been lived normally and not spent on some far-off movie location. I want to get married and have children. In saying that, I realise I am contradicting everything I’ve said before. I absolutely believe in marriage.”

The 33 year old actor has had an on-agin, off-again relationship with 23 year old model Bar Rafaeli.

The guy was with Giselle Bundchen, and now on-again, off-again with Bar Rafaeli, what is he waiting for?  Do you think he’ll ever marry?

Leonardo DiCaprio and family are mourning the death of his beloved grandmother Helene Indenbirken, 93.    She died in her native North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.  There has been no confirmation of exact date or cause.

The actor idolized his grandmother and once told Vanity Fair:

“She is literally gangsta, and I mean that with an ‘a.’ She will tell people exactly what she thinks to their face and look them in the eye.”

DiCaprio told the magazine in 2004 his grandmother saved his mother’s life.  A toddler during World War II, his mother, Irmelin, suffered a broken leg. His grandmother nursed her back to health in a German hospital:

“All these refugees from the war and all the soldiers came into the hospital,” ”She ended up contracting five or six major illnesses and stayed for two and a half, three years.  “My grandmother basically came every day and nursed her back to health because the nurses didn’t have time.”

Leonardo was extremely close to his grandmother.  Our thoughts and prayers to him and his family.  Grandmothers are precious.
