Lindsay Lohan is getting ready to break free (legally) from rehab over at the Betty Ford clinic and make your feet pretty.  Say what? Lindsay is going to get right back to work in the fashion industry when she’s out and she will be focusing on a new line of footwear.  This will of course be part of her 6126 fashion line.

“She’ll finalize everything when she’s out,” says a rep for 6126, who describes the shoes Lindsay has in mind as “classic, glamorous, timeless with a sexy flair.”

We won’t be able to get our hands on the shoes until the fall, but we will be seeing glimpses by spring.  Miss Lindsay is going to be free to leave rehab on Jan. 3rd, but she might choose to stay a bit longer.  I can’t imagine wanting to, but who knows what she will be feeling when the time of “freedom” arrives.

I don’t know how this could even happen in the first place, it’s rehab for Pete’s sake.  Nonetheless, it did.  Last weekend, Lindsay Lohan and her roomies who were being housed through a Betty Ford satellite house, threw a booze filled party.  Yeah, HUH?  The roomies were supposedly tanked, while we are supposed to believe that Lindsay stayed sober.  Hmmmm, can I believe that?

Lindsay also allegedly went to a bar the night of the party with two of her friends.  Wha?!

Betty Ford got wind of the party and they got busted.  The girls were all brought back to the main facility at Betty Ford where they could be supervised, 100%.  Lindsay is back there as well, where she is undergoing “intensive therapy” for very obvious reasons.

Lindsay Lohan wasn’t allowed to leave California for Thanksgiving even though she really wanted to fly out to New York to see her mom and siblings.  So, she was really hoping that she would get the okay for a Christmas visit out there.  Surprisingly, Betty Ford was okay with it, but the L.A. County Probation Department said no way.

Lindsay Lohan Gets Her Freedom Back, Sort Of

So what’s a girl stuck in rehab supposed to do?  Count on your family to do the right thing, and believe it or not, Dina Lohan is coming through.  She’s flying out with the kids, Ali, Michael, and Cody to spend a couple of days with Lindsay in California for Christmas.  Nice!

And in case you were wondering, Michael Lohan has been banned from the “festivities.”

Lindsay Lohan happened to catch the Glee episode that her ‘friend’ Gwyneth Paltrow was guest-starring in.

Gwynnie played a Spanish teacher on the hit show and made a reference to Lindsay Lohan on the show in which her character says:

“Lindsay Lohan is totally crazy, right?” And, she then quizzed the class in Spanish, “How many times has Lindsay Lohan been to rehab?”

Lindsay’s mother Dina talked exclusively with RadarOnline and tells them Lindsay is deeply hurt by this:

“Lindsay was watching it while in Betty Ford, then she called me and was upset and said, ‘Why did she have to do that?’”

Dina goes on to say:

“We are the first to make fun of ourselves in our family,” explained Dina.

“And Lindsay has even done SNL a few times, but Gwyneth went overboard and it was unecessary.”

“Lindsay thought she was a friend and it was disappointing,” ”It was really hard for her to watch… it was hurtful not funny.”

It’s unfortunate that the show chose to label someone with addictive issues as ‘crazy’. It shows complete ignorance and I’m sure Gwyneth had enough pull to be able to change the script if she so desired.

Given she’s a mother of two and was supposed to have been a friend of Linday’s at one time, I think it’s not a very nice thing to do. Friends don’t throw friends under the bus. And then there’s her GOOP crap in which she is all about being enlightened yada, yada, yada.

Do you think Lindsay is being too sensitive or did Gwyneth go overboard? I’m also wondering if it was a good idea Dina went to the press about this. What do you think?

Lindsay Lohan really gets to drive again.  After receiving her drivers license, she quickly lost the ability to drive because of the stalker paparazzi and the protective Betty Ford clinic.

Well, Lilo’s parents Michael Lohan and Dina Lohan both made calls to Betty Ford and they have decided that Lindsay can have a shot at the open road again.  But, it’s not an open ended ticket.  She has to get permission each time she wants to leave the facility.

So it’s really good news for Lindsay.  I know that she’s not just being forced to be there, she wants to get better and she knows that Betty Ford is the answer.   BUT, that being said, it’s gotta be tough dealing with that sort of living situation for that long.  Really no privacy and obviously no freedom.  I’d go crazy.

But kudos to Lindsay for sticking to it and a big congrats on getting her wheels back.

Lindsay Lohan has been given the thumbs up by Betty Ford and her probation officer to hit the road again.  Her privileges had been revoked thanks to all of her “criminal activities.”

This is a great sign of Lindsay’s progress at Betty Ford.  She’s kept her head in the “game” and it’s obviously paying off.  Perhaps her first drive will be to the supermarket to pick up food for her Thanksgiving meal with her father, Michael Lohan.

Speaking of that, there is still no sign of Dina Lohan folding and actually participating in the holiday with her daughter and ex-husband.  I just hope Lindsay gets to spend her Christmas in NYC with her mom and siblings.
