Kristen Stewart Covers U.K. Glamour Magazine

Kristen Stewart Covers Glamour Magazine

Twilight's Kristen Stewart not only was gorgeous on one December Glamour magazine cover, but British Glamour saw fit to put her on two covers. Within the cover is an interview of a seemingly unguarded (read no publicist) Kristen Stewart who was able to handle herself like a pro all by her lonesome (see how it's done Paris Hilton?). Of course she still isn't confirming or denying her relationship with Robert Pattinson (like we need her to at this point) she does address their very important sex scenes in the Breaking Dawn movies:

"On a particular level, it's entirely true that it's the most important scene in the whole movie, but obviously it goes without saying it's been built up at this point to an insane degree," she laughs, before acknowledging that even she was slightly shocked by Bella's burgeoning sexuality. "There are two big sex scenes in the two [final] films, and we did them fairly early. It was so weird, it didn’t even feel like we were doing a scene within a Twilight film. I was like, ‘Bella! What are you doing? Wow! What is happening here?!’ It was very surreal. We [originally] got rated R [restricted for under 17s], They recut it."

The wedding dress scenes were done under MAJOR security she says:

"I had to be shrouded in secrecy the entire two days of filming … it was crazy," she laughs. "I was on full lockdown, as if I was wearing millions of dollars" worth of diamonds, and I'm so excited for the wedding dress to be revealed," she says. "It was one of those moments you go, 'This is something to remember,' and you want to put yourself in the experience so that it doesn't pass you by. It ended up being great for everyone, I think." She corrects herself with a laugh –"Well, for me, at least" –adds, with faux conceit, "I think everyone had a wonderful time at any wedding … and it was marvelous!"

I can not wait to see that movie and I know all the Twihards are with me on that one. Check out the gorgeous photoshoot from the magazine.

Nicki Minaj Covers W Magazine 18th Century Style

Nicki Minaj Covers W Magazine 18th Century Style

Wow. Nicki Minaj covers the Art & Fashion issue of W Magazine giving us her unique version of 18th Century Style (that thing hanging from her eye must hurt). Within the magazine there are more portraits of Nicki Minaj in various period pieces. My favorite is where she lets her hair down in the beautiful feminine white dress.

These depictions are courtesy of Francesco Vezzoli who says:

“I wanted to play with the public image of a female hip-hop star,” said the Italian artist. “During my entire career, I have always been fascinated by powerful women in history. I have spent a lot of time researching the ways they were represented in art and how their images were used to mold the public imagination—and to convey aesthetic and philosophical ideas about beauty and sexual desire. My main interest has been to link the historical artistic approach to female representation to contemporary icons of the media era.”

So what do you think? Do you like Nicki's version of 18th century style?

Footloose’s Julianne Hough Covers SELF Magazine

Footloose's Julianne Hough Covers SELF Magazine

While I am STILL mourning the loss of Julianne Hough as a regular on Dancing With The Stars, (although I'm making progress with the headline) she has moved on and is headlining the remake of Footloose which hits theatres today. The movie is getting a lot of great buzz and some not-so-great buzz, but that`s the way it goes right?

Julianne Hough dons the daisy dukes on the cover of November's SELF Magazine where she talks dance, exercise and of course Footloose. And she says (which shocked me) that although her brother Derek Hough is the best dancer, Tom Cruise gives him a run for his money! Imagine that, Tom Cruise is probably twice Derek's age! You go Tommy.

Here are some excerpts from the magazine interview:

"There is something so rewarding about dancing. It's almost spiritual-you let loose, you feel free, you get endorphins from the exercise. Acting is like free therapy! Trying to make people laugh or cry can be inspiring. Dancing and acting satisfy me in different ways."

"I feel sexy when I'm taking care of myself and not depriving myself."

"Rollerblading is a serious leg workout! When I have a day off, I want to be outside-unless I'm on my bed with my dogs watching an SVU marathon!

"As a teen, I wanted to break free like Ariel in Footloose. My dad is protective. He texts, 'Right place, right time, doing the right thing?' That's still his way of checking in on me."

"I vary my workouts every day because, otherwise, I get bored. I always try to run for 20 to 40 minutes on the beach first. Six days a week is fantastic, but four is great, too."

My go-to pre-bikini flat-ab move is the plank, all different types.

"I grew up mountain biking in Utah, and I've been doing it more recently since working in Miami. I crave danger. I find going fast exhilarating! I adore snowboarding, skiing and skydiving." self's note: Love it, but wear a helmet, please!

"A couple of years ago, my dad asked me if, when I'm on the road by myself, no boyfriend, no family, no dogs to comfort me, I am happy with who I am. That stuck with me. If you don't know yourself, you can't really love anybody. Today, I am really happy with who I am and feel like I'm in the right place. I'd met Ryan many times over the years, but we got together at the right time."

"My siblings and I had a family band and performed around Utah as White Lightning. People called us the Blond Osmonds! I loved it. If I'm not busy, I feel like I'm not doing enough. And I'm a pleaser. It's my Julianne syndrome. I'm trying now to learn how to say no to certain things."

"My brother, Derek, is the best dancer, but Tom Cruise gives him a run for his money!"

Salma Hayek: ‘I Was Born To Be A Wife and A Mother’

Salma Hayek: 'I Was Born To Be A Wife and A Mother'

Wow who would have thunk that Salma Hayek thinks of herself born to be a wife and mother? Not that there's anything wrong with that at all, but she's known for being a sexy hot actress and business person married to a billionaire (she's a millionaire in her own right).

She covers Latina magazine for November and talked about her husband, motherhood and a skin-care line she is developing so that we can all have beautiful skin like hers (I would totally buy the product):

On waiting patiently to become a mother & wife“To be your own woman, you have to question who you really are and what it is you really want – and you have to have a level of acceptance of what you can do. The things I expected of myself when I was 20 did not happen, or did not happen the way I imagined they would, and it’s okay.  Let’s just take this one day at a time and do the best that I can and be grateful for the things I do have.”

On her husband François-Henri Pinault: “I found a man better than any man I could ever in my life imagine existed. He found me, actually. I wasn’t even looking.”

On having divine skin“When I was 16, I looked 19.  When I was 19, I looked 25. But I got stuck on 25 – thank God! – until I was 35. So that was good.  But it’s also important to take care of your skin because if you’re not careful, one day you’ll wake up and a spider will have taken over your face and you’ll be full of lines.”

On cosmetic surgery: “I have no Botox.  The thought of a needle coming to my forehead, it really gives me the heebie-jeebies.  So I’d rather put on my creams.  It’s fun, it smells good, and it’s relaxing.  Am I opposed to doing it later?  I don’t know.  I want to see how far I can go.”

On launching her new beauty line“At the time I wanted to do the beauty line I didn’t know how, but I never stopped trying to learn. It’s not that I said, ‘I’ve gotta do this no matter what.’ It was like, ‘I know how to act.  I don’t know how to do this other thing, but I think I could.’  So I studied, I paid attention, I asked a lot of questions, I investigated each product.  And then, in time, it came.”

On the busiest year of her career: “I’m 45, so it’s a miracle I’m working in the first place – especially because I’m not even here [stateside] chasing it.  Nowadays I only work with friends or somebody I admire, or on something that is really special.  Somehow, just by doing that, it’s the year that I worked the most in my life!”

On what’s next: “I’m in a very comfortable position because, [even] if I never worked again and am just a housewife and a mother, I’m happy.  I really am.  I was born to be a wife and a mother.”

Rihanna Is Naked On Esquire and The Sexiest Woman Alive!

Rihanna Is Naked On Esquire and The Sexiest Woman Alive!

Rihanna 23, makes Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive and appears naked on the cover of the magazine with some ill-placed algae or spinach or something.

Within the magazine she talks about Chris Brown and how she's happy for him and that her anger toward him was taking up too much of her energy:

"It was too much anger," "I'm really excited to see the breakthrough he's had in his career."

I agree with not wasting anger on a douchebag but to be 'really excited' for someone like that, I don't know about that. Wish them well and don't give it another thought seems a bit more appropriate. Whatever.

"It's incredible to see how he pulled out the way he did. Even when the world seemed like it was against him, you know?" Rihanna said. "I really like the music he's putting out. I'm a fan of his stuff. I've always been a fan." I would never wish anything horrible for him. Never. I never have,"

And even though Esquire (and probably tons of people) think she's the sexiest woman alive, she says she doesn't necessarily feel that way:

"At the end of a concert, I don't feel like I've been this sexy thing," "Really, I don't even think about it."

That's odd. Even while she's touching herself on stage she doesn't think about it?

Rihanna also drinks before a show to calm her nerves and she sometimes is out in the audience during the opening act. Why not, she rides the subway to her concerts:

"I have to have it. I take it very seriously, so there is a level of anxiety, always. I overthink everything when it comes to my job. The drink calms my nerves. I sip it while I watch the opening act from my dressing room. Sometimes I go out into the audience. I put on a really big hoodie and sneak out there."

This issue of RiRi being Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive is available on newsstands October 16.

Melissa McCarthy is on FIRE!

Melissa McCarthy is on FIRE!

Melissa McCarthy is Hollywood's latest 'it' girl and there is no sign of her slowing down which is damn great news if you ask me. This multi-talented actress, writer, comedian is fresh off of her Emmy win for her fabulous work on Mike and Molly. Then of course there is that little movie you may have heard about 'Bridesmaids' in which everyone is gushing over her performance (I'm renting it this weekend and can not wait).

Add to that her cover of Hollywood Reporter and we are just touching the tip of the iceberg for this dynamo poodles. What does an entrepreneur do? They fill a void, a need and that's exactly what Melissa McCarthy is doing after not being able to find a suitable Emmy dress to cover her size 14 frame:

McCarthy is using her raised profile to launch a line for other plus-size women. "Trying to find stuff that's still fashion-forward in my size is damn near impossible. It's either for like a 98-year-old woman or a 14-year-old hooker, and there is nothing in the middle," she laughs, recalling her recent struggles to find a dress for the Emmys. After combing through "9 million dresses with taffeta or shiny bows," she opted to channel her teenage passion to become a fashion designer and design her own Emmy gown (with couture dressmaker Daniella Pearl.)

And then there is her writing. She's teaming up with Bridesmaids writer Annie Mumolo to write a comedy that sees her hijacking the Stanley Cup to cheer her ill husband up (LOVE it!). Melissa and her husband Ben Falcone have a production company that just sold a television comedy project about a woman having a midlife crisis. She says of the production company:

“To have the opportunity to start developing and being on the creating side of stuff, for me, is one of the most amazing and exciting things that’s happened,” she says. “I’ve been writing for 15 years, and now, suddenly, people are like, ‘Oh, what’s in that drawer?’ It’s like, ‘Well, I’ll show what’s in the drawer.’ ”

When I say that to people I usually get another restraining order. Life is funny like that right? Tomorrow night she will guest host on Saturday Night Live with Lady Antebellum as musical guests. She says of the honour:

"I went into such an embarrassing, weird, inappropriately loud cry,"

I can not wait to see SNL tomorrow night. This woman ROCKS. Do you watch Mike and Molly? She is fabulous on it, they all are. But I love that a woman as talented, nice and funny as Melissa who is not Hollywood's 'norm' of what normal is, is doing so well.

I can not wait to see what Melissa McCarthy does next!

Kim Kardashian Is Sexy Hot on Harper’s Bazaar Arabia Edition

Kim Kardashian Is Sexy Hot on Harper's Bazaar Arabia Edition

While brother Robert Kardashian is busy taking the title of best dancing Kardashian on Dancing With The Stars, Kim Kardashian is glamming up Harper's Bazaar magazine in a sexy hot musical dress and smoldering eyes in the Arabia edition of the magazine.

Clearly this cover was shot before Kim Kardashian made Parade.com's top list of The Most Annoying Celebrity, but it probably wouldn't matter as even bad press is good press in showbidness bitches.

What do you think of the cover? I love her eyes and eye makeup. Other than that, I think most covers that Kim Kardashian does are pretty much the same, yes?

Orlando Bloom Looks Spankalicious on Men’s Health

Orlando Bloom Looks Spankalicious on Men's Health

Orlando Bloom Looks Spankalicious on Men's Health

Sweet lawd I think my clothes just flew off at the fastest rate of speed yet. Orlando Bloom may be photo shopped to the man berries, but he is looking absolutely hot on the cover of Men's Health magazine.

In the magazine he talks that he has moments of doubts. Seriously? He looks like that, is as nice as can be, is married to Miranda Kerr with a beautiful baby and dude has doubts?

And poodles he loves swordplay because among other things it's balletic. Now that is a man very comfortable with himself and that is so very hot.

Did I mention he looks spankalicious?

While I have no clue which month this issue is (like it matters) I'm thinking it's probably October. I need to lay down.

Orlando on beating his moments of doubt:"I call [doubts] my mind critters. Can I defeat myself? I really like going downhill on a mountain bike, and if I just feather the front brake and let it roll, I’m fine. But if I’m not in that zone and I clutch that brake, boom, I’m over the handlebars. Or worse."

Orlando on fear:"Fear is not a friend of mine. But it’s something to have a healthy awareness of."

Orlando on having a healthy sense of risk:"I can’t stop living. It would ruin my creativity, the person I am."

Orlando on success vs. greatness:"To an untrained eye, yes, success is what people aspire to, and only success. The thing is, success can allow you to try for greatness, can give you an opportunity to take a chance on something. I’m very blessed to have the success that I’ve had, and that’s given me so many opportunities to work on being great."

Orlando on fencing:"I love swordplay. It’s a mental and physical challenge. It can also be balletic and dancelike."
