It’s hard to believe that Desperate Housewives will be going off the air forever after this season which marks Season 8 of the long-running ABC series.

In true fashion, the promo shots for the final season are nothing shy of glamorous! Eva Longoria 36, Marcia Cross 49, Felicity Huffman 48, Teri Hatcher 46 and Vanessa Williams 48 are perhaps ‘made up’ to the hills and maybe even a little photoshopped but the ladies look divine and why not go out with a bang?

And don’t forget that Nicolette Sheridan (who played Edie Britt and is suing producer Marc Cherry in real life) will be returning to the final season. It’s not known if she will be filming new segments or if they will be reusing old ones.

The new season premieres Sunday September 25 9/8 c.

This March (the 25th) Marcia turns 49 if you can believe it. She’s stunning! I don’t know if that’s attributed to good genes, staying out of the sun, or a combination of both, but whatever she’s doing, it’s working.

Apparently Marcia, along with Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman and Eva Longoria are all in the middle of contract negotiations for an eight season.  Creator Marc Cherry told TV Guide:

“The actresses are still in hot and heavy negotiations, so as of this moment everyone is hopeful and optimistic that we’ll be returning for an eighth season,” “But until the women have signed on there is no guarantee.”

He added that if all goes well, two more seasons are likely to be added with the series ending in 2013:

“I think that’s what everyone would be happy with,” he said. “I think nine years would be a really good run.” ”I’ve specifically asked [ABC] to please get the deal done as quickly as possible so I can know. I would hate to have to wrap up Desperate Housewives in an untidy fashion just because they weren’t able to make a deal. But everyone’s pretty optimistic a deal will be made.”

Nine years is a good run, but I can’t imagine not having Desperate Housewives to watch on a Sunday night. It’s a nice little guilty pleasure. Do you watch?

Desperate Housewives’ Marcia Cross took Savannah and Eden to Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in West Hollywood to pick their pumpkins for Halloween. The girls are getting so big!! With both parents being tall, they will be tall girls for sure. They are adorable aren’t they?

See the little vampires to the left of her hanging up?  I love those!! They are adorable.  I happen to be (finally) reading Breaking Dawn and the thought of being a vampire is most appealing! You don’t have to eat, you don’t gain weight, you don’t need sleep and if you’re a Cullen you can drive really awesome cars! What’s there not to like? If you learn to control your ‘thirst’ like they do, humans don’t have to be harmed (not that it’s okay with animals, but you get my point?).

It was a who’s who of Hollywood that showed up to lend their name and support behind the Stand Up To Cancer charity event last night in Los Angeles.

The hour long show featured cameos by a ton of stars as well as performances by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Neil Diamond, Leona Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield, Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart and many more.

Stars like Christina Applegate, and Sofia Vergara that have battled cancer wore yellow shirts, while stars like Rob Lowe who lost his mother to the disease in 2003, wore white.  He paid tribute to her on his shirt with ‘In Memory Of Mom’.

This is not like your typical ‘Celebs Out & About post.  I’ve taken it to the next level.  And by next level I mean more than 12 pictures, in fact I’ve doubled your viewing pleasure.  So hang on to your eyeballs.

I think I have only ever posted pictures of Janice Dickinson once before, but because she’s showing her ass to the paparazzi I thought it was perfect to include.  I don’t know why I don’t include her more.  She’s got that ‘crazy’ going on, and if there is one thing I like besides sleeping, chocolate, peen, food and stalking hot guys it’s crazy.

It’s time for a Marcia Cross with her daughters Eden and Savannah fix.  These little girls are adorable.  I LOVE their hair!!! Such beautiful soft curls. My hair used to be like that.  And then I listened to my mom when she told me I would look ‘oh so cute‘ with a pixie cut.  A pixie cut!! I ended up looking like a BOY.  I kid you not.

But my therapist says just a few more electro shock therapy sessions and that bad boy of a memory should be completely erased. So what if I drool every time I open my mouth to speak? I won’t see a boy looking back at me when I look in the mirror.  I love you mom.
