Dancing With The Stars Season 14 is just around the corner and while we hear people complain about the celebrity roster (it's not like the show is ever going to get Robert DeNiro or anyone of that caliber I mean come on people) Derek Hough is blown away by his dance partner Maria Menounos:

The standard is very high this season," he said on Good Day LA. "From what I've heard, with this cast, everybody's gonna be good."

"Her work ethic is insane," he gushed. "We went six hours, and she was like, 'I want to keep going,' and I was like, 'I don't know if my feet can take this right now.'

"She's amazing," he added. "I'm really excited to be dancing with her, and we're having a lot of fun."

We all know the perfectionist and Dance God that Derek is, so if HE'S blown away by Maria, you have to know SHE .IS. GOOD.

The rehearsals for season 14 of Dancing With The Stars are well under way and I would have to think it is at this point that those celebrities who signed up are thinking 'what the hell did I get myself into?' 

Here we see Maria Menounos, Derek Hough, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Jaleel White, Kym Johnson, Melissa Gilbert, Peta Murgatroyd, and Donald Driver outside of the dance studio. Might I add that Derek is looking mighty chiseled in the bicep department?  Mommy likes.

Maria Menounos frolicks around the beach at the Fontainbleau in Miami Beach and even jumps on Mike Chiklis’ back. But alas the innocence all ended there when Miss Menounos had a slight wardrobe malfunction of the nether-regions. Which I would say is NSFW.

Sh*t happens, right? From what I can tell (and I could not look at it for very long because I tend to favour mansicle meat) she keeps the cooter quite coiffed. Good on her. That reminds me it’s Brazilian wax time. Ouch. Any of my readers get laser hair removal ‘down there’??? That’s something to consider.

Rapper Drake (real name Aubrey Graham) attended Bing’s Celebration of Creative Minds after party at BOA restaurant in Los Angeles last night.  Drake of course is coming off of his win and performance at the Much Music Video Awards that took place Sunday.

Word is he also took a liking to Jersey Shore’s Snooki which to say surprises me would be the understatement of the year. Drake is talented, young, hot and like 6’2″ or something and Snooki is 4’9″ I believe, and well you know as much as you need to know about her. I’m sure she’s nice and all and It’s not so much the height difference but more the ‘professional talent’ differences.

Apparently he was flirting with her backstage and even invited her to his after party. The door security turned her away from said party and Drake was not too pleased about that.  This ‘connection’ ranks right up there with the Eli Roth and Peaches Geldof relationship.  Seriously, WTF? I don’t get it.

To me, Meryl Streep is one of the best actresses of our time.  She is versatile, funny, and beyond talented.  She plays Julia Child in Julie and Julia and judging from the trailers she nails it.  What else is new.  That’s Meryl! 

Her costar Amy Adams plays Julie Powell, the writer of the book.  Nora Ephron wrote the screenplay.  Costars Chris Messina, Jane Lynch and Mary Lynn Rajskub also attended the Los Angeles premiere as well as:

Meryl Streep admits that she and her onscreen husband in the film played by Stanley Tucci, are somewhat like a married couple in real life:

“Stanley and I are always on opposite sides in a very famous charades game during Christmas. We’ve been at each other’s throats like married people for a long time, many years and we knew each other in that way.

“I’ve been in love with him from a far anyway with the totality of the man from Big Night to his directing work, in every way. It wasn’t a tough job imagining being in love with him.”

He’s impressive in the kitchen as well:

“I once invited him over for dinner (to bond) with (his wife) Kate and I decided I’d make blanket de foie and it was not quite done when they arrived and so Stanley came in and completely took over the kitchen. We didn’t eat until 11pm!”

To have Meryl Streep as a friend and hang with her would be so cool.
