On the way out of her Westchester, NY, home on Tuesday night, Martha Stewart leaned down to say goodbye to her French bulldog, Francesca, but the cute pup (6) was sleeping and Martha scared her and she snapped at her, smacking Martha in the mouth and landing her in the hospital!

Martha Stewart Was Struck By Lightening. THREE Times!!

“I must have startled her, because she bolted upright with such force that she hit me in the face like a boxing glove hitting an opponent’s face,” Martha wrote. “I was entirely startled and my neck snapped back. I felt a bit of whiplash as blood gushed forth from my split lip. Frannie was as upset as I was and cowered in her bed.”

Martha’s  stable manager, Betsy Perreten went with her to the hospital and documented the entire procedure.  Yikes! What a champ!  Those stitches are no fun!

Fell better soon Martha!

Eva Mendes shines and sparkles at Cartier’s 100th Anniversary Celebration in America at Cartier’s Fifth Avenue Mansion in New York last night.  Do celebs get a gift bag for attending these events?  Can you imagine what would be in theirs?

I think Jessica Biel is a gorgeous girl, but I don’t understand the jacket with the dress.  I also have to wonder if Anne Hathaway is contractually obligated to not smile when in the presence of Kate Hudson.  Meow.  Just asking…..

Martha Stewart is living proof that you can be struck by lightening and live to tell about it.   She says of the incidents:

“I was hit in a little house in Littlefield, Massachusetts, while I was standing at the sink… I was washing dishes and it hit me in my stomach.

“The second time, I was talking… on the telephone and light came through my skylight in Westport, Connecticut.

(Another time) I was holding on to a metal stand. I let go and the lightning came back out through my foot.”

But Martha isn’t too fazed by being struck by lightening (3 freaking times):

“Some people attract electrical things, I do… You can get electrocuted and not die.”

So the moral of this story is, if you are with Martha Stewart and it starts getting cloudy RUN!  I’m just saying   :)
