Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are a pair of one of the most famous sets of twins ever, and perhaps the wealthiest.  They are now reuniting on the same screen after 18 years.  The girls have a monthly series for their site StyleMint, where their exclusive fans can watch them perform an impromptu BBQ, wearing red, white and blue. This a members-only site that offers customers exclusive collections of eight T-shirts a month for 29.99 each.

The monthly series will have a contest for viewers to submit a photo or video of themselves celebrating the “T Moment,” and this month is all about showing how you celebrate independence. July T moment entries can be submitted through July 31 at facebook.com/mystylemint and the lucky winner will receive a year-long membership. Winners will be announced on the Facebook page on August 5.

It’s nice to see the girls back on the same page again.  They are just adorable.

Kirsten Dunst, and Mary Kate Olsen Raid Grandma’s Closet ForThe MET Ball

I will be the first to admit I know very little about couture or high-end fashion. And I’m really okay with that. What I also know is I would never go out looking like Kirsten Dunst or Mary Kate Olsen did attending last night’s ‘Savage Beauty’ Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

I sense Kirsten’s discomfort as she stands close to Gisele Bundchen which must suck because it’s bad enough going out looking like that (her stylist must hate her guts), but to stand beside Glamazon Gisele who looks beyond stunning would make the most confident of people head back home. Do I see a look of distaste on Glamazon’s face?

As for Mary Kate Olsen, I’ve just completely given up hope of her ever looking like she didn’t just roll out of bed or finish smoking from a bong for the last 5 hours while listening to Jimi Hendrix. I detect a hint of a smirk creeping up on her face so perhaps we are making some progress I’m just too disillusioned to care.

Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen were at he Women’s Wear Daily 100 Anniversary Gala at Cipriani on 42nd Street in New York City dressed in the usual black.  Blah-dee-dah.  These girls are too beautiful to always dress so dark and with such heavy eye makeup.  Sure, they are 24-years-old now.  But I would love to see a few pics of them in a natural setting. Maybe even with no makeup.  Or here’s a thought, in bikinis!  No I am not perverted.  Just wanted to see if they are really vampires under all of that.

Last night the CFDA Fashion Awards were held in New York where Marc Jacobs took home Womenswear Designer of the Year and fashion model (and wife of David Bowie) Iman took home the Fashion Icon Award.

During the evening Sarah Jessica Parker paid tribute to the late Alexander McQueen and introduced his final collection where it was seen for the first time at the awards last night.

The stars came out big for the opening night of Lend Me A Tenor in New York which stars Anthony LaPaglia, Tony Shalhoub and Justin Bartha and is directed by Stanley Tucci.  It is getting reviews for at times ‘being hysterically funny’.

The play is set in the 1930′s and:

it depicts the comic chaos that ensues when a superstar tenor from Italy arrives for his debut performance in the starring role of “Otello” with the local opera company
