Bruno can talk to the hand, bitches

Dancing With The Stars has it’s own drama going on with Michael Bolton demanding an apology from Bruno Tonioli after Bruno was merciless on Michael’s dancing Monday night, but the producers think Bruno was not out of line:

“Bruno’s role as a judge is to give his honest opinions on the quality of the dances he’s judging, which is what he did in this case.  ”While we respect the feelings of our celebrities and dancers, we don’t feel Bruno should be expected to apologize for doing his job.”

Bruno stated that Michael’s jive was ‘the worst I’ve ever seen’ and gave the multiple Grammy singer a 3. Even Len thought Bruno went overboard in his criticisms as did Michael’s partner Chelsie Hightower.

After last night’s Dancing With The Stars’ Season 11 premiere, Chelsie Hightower accompanied her multi-Grammy award winning partner Michael Bolton to The Grove where he took part in the Songs For Hope event.

Part of The Be Aware Foundation its purpose is to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer and clinical research. The concert, which also featured Brian McKnight was a free concert!

In about 10 minutes time the results show for Dancing With The Stars will be live. Who do you think is going home?

When I first learned of the line up for Dancing With The Stars season 11, I thought the dance troup from the local retirement home would have been more exciting, but as it gets closer to the season premiere (one more sleep y’all) I’m getting excited. I won’t ever fist pump, but I am letting out some squeals.

All of the celebrities and dance professionals look happy as they are seen outside of the dance rehearsal studio.  If you want some spoilers for tomorrow night’s dances, TMZ has the lowdown. Celebrities pictured:

The rehearsals are underway for Dancing With The Stars. But Derek Hough doesn’t look happy these days.  Boo  One of the things I love about DWTS is his goofy antics.  He’s a blast to watch. It’s also nice to see him in his jeans.  Whether he’s smiling or not he looks hot.  Am I right?

Mark Ballas is another of my DWTS favourites.  I am really liking his short-cropped hair. It’s giving me very inappropriate thoughts.

Also seen leaving (or arriving) at the studios for rehearsals:  Michael Bolton, David Hasselhoff, Margaret Cho and professionals Kym Johnson and Louis Van Amstel.

People I haven’t seen leaving or arriving at the rehearsals are Karina Smirnoff and The Situation. I read somewhere the other day where The Situation’s friends are saying he doesn’t stand a chance with Karina (in a romantic/sexual way) and it made me chuckle because I’m not sure if those buffoons realize it or not but it’s a dancing show, not a dating show. The goal is to dance, not try to boink the talent. Oh wait.  Never mind.

The show premieres on Monday September 20 at 8/7 c.  Will you be watching?

Poor Michael Bolton.  It seems that he doesn’t have a home to live in.  In May of 2008 Michael and then fiance Nicolette Sheridan purchased a mansion in L.A.’s Hidden Hills from Melissa Ethridge.  So in love with Nicolette, Michael put his Westport, Conneticut mansion up for sale on August 24 only to be kicked out of the Beverley Hills mansion by Nicolette two days later!!  Ouch.

A source told PageSix:

“he’s basically homeless – and stuck with two houses. He and Nicollette split the Hidden Hills house, but she wants to stay there and not have him anywhere near it. She also doesn’t particularly want to pay him [for] his half and thinks he should just give [the house] to her.

“Michael’s kind of screwed,” our source continued. “He pulled up his longtime roots in Connecticut to live with her, and now she booted him. He’s got nowhere to go.”

On top of everything it is rumoured that Nicolette has a new boyfriend, and no, it isn’t David Spade.

“Empty nest syndrome, that’s what I have… The reality is, I’m spending so much time in Los Angeles and travelling six or seven months a year and working on my record. My daughters are grown up. When I come home and open the door, I hear an echo: ‘Hello, hello, hello.’”
And Bolton admits he has been feeling particularly lonely since his split from Desperate Housewives actress Nicollette Sheridan last month (Aug08) – but insists they are “still friends”.
He is now using his free time to concentrate on charity work, particularly the domestic violence charity he founded in 1993.
The singer adds, “I’m doing what I consider really, really important work. You are supposed to come into your home and feel safe. Violence against women is unacceptable.”
