Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall Marriage is Very Over

And actually, it was barely ever there.  Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall quit their marriage a while ago and they haven’t even reached their two year anniversary.

Showtime Gives ‘Dexter’ Season 6

“Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce,” the reps say in a joint statement.

Jennifer stood by Michael while he battled cancer, but is that the only reason she stuck around?  He’s beat the disease and now she’s out?  I hate seeing marriages end after such a short time.  The ’till death do us part’ stuff has really lost it’s meaning.  Don’t you find it rather depressing?  Am I too much of a romantic?

For the record, that man is far too hot to be single.  Ladies, watch out!

Lucy Liu & Michael C. Hall Film ‘East Fifth Bliss’

2010 Emmy Awards Winners List & PHOTOS

I personally haven’t seen the show.  It’s a tad gruesome for my taste.  But my brother is a big TV guy, as in the biz, and this show is one of his all time faves.  He’s very picky and I take his word on all things in the TV/movie industry.  So if you’re looking for a new show, check it out on Sundays at 9 pm.

Congrats to the whole cast and all you avid fans!

Lucy Liu & Michael C. Hall Film ‘East Fifth Bliss’

Lucy Liu and Dexter’s Michael C. Hall are in New York filming scenes for East Fifth Bliss a drama/comedy:

A guy in his mid-thirties watches as his life comically unravels after he enters into a relationship with the daughter of a former high school classmate.

So if he’s in his mid-thirties and his former classmate is in his-mid-thirties, wouldn’t that make the daughter he is dating (of his classmate’s) extremely young?  I don’t think my coffee has seeped into my bloodstream yet so perhaps I’m missing something here.  Actually the girl is 18 so she’s legal, but it’s still too creepy for me.

In a few of the pictures you will see Michael trying to get a cat down off of a restaurant roof.  It’s quite adorable.

I love me some Lucy Liu.  Loved her in Cashmere Mafia.  Then they cancelled the show.  Loved it when they added her to Dirty, Sexy, Money.  And then they cancelled the show. Why?

The legend that is Betty White received the Lifetime Achievement Award last night at the 16th Annual SAG Awards and rightfully so.  To say this woman has been a trailblazer would be an understatement.  At the young age of 88 she still continues to have a strong career in Hollywood and yet still finds time to champion the cause of animal rights.  I love this woman!!!  Her acceptance speech starts at the 5:35 mark on the video below.

2010 Golden Globe Awards – Winners/Pressroom

full_wenn2714936

Yeah, you know you love that picture.  It was either Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler or Halle Berry.  I just wanted to tease the Gerard Butler fans :)

Before I get on with the winners of last night’s Golden Globe Awards, I just want to mention that I really enjoyed Ricky Gervais hosting.  What we saw of him.  I would have really liked for him to be on stage more often.  I particularly liked when he introduced Mel Gibson by saying:

“It’s not my fault. I like a drink as much as the next man. Unless the next man is Mel Gibson”

I’m sure your jaw dropped to the floor like the rest of us and the celebrities in the audience.  Mel didn’t seem bothered by it and in fact went along with it.

Sandra Bullock showed off her perfect German in her acceptance speech by telling her kids (she is step-mom to husband Jesse James’ kids):

“to brush their teeth and go to bed”

Although my television went black during his speech, I enjoyed watching Robert Downey Jr via YouTube:
