Okay Paul W. S. Anderson you insane genius you…I give up. You win. I'll go see The Three Musketeers, your lavish costume drama with its ridiculous flying boats and ninja assassins. Your production values are too high. The Ray Stevenson factor, which could never be completely discounted, is too high. The idea of Mads Mikkelsen and Luke Evans wielding swords and wearing doublets…Matthew MacFadyen doing anything as long as he speaks with that voice…I'm crying 'uncle!'…I'm weak.  I'll sit in the dark and munch popcorn and appreciate those things while I try not to laugh at Orlando Bloom's pompadoured foppery or Logan Lerman's man-girl wig, while wondering what the hell Christoph Waltz is doing in this movie, although I won't expect much else. And I won't buy a ticket for the 3D.

The Three Muskeeters, in which the hot-headed young D’Artagnan (Lerman) joins forces with three rogue Musketeers ( MacFadyen, Evans and Stevenson)  face off with the Duke of Buckingham (Bloom) and the treacherous Milady (Milla Jovovich) to try to stop the evil Cardinal Richlieu (Waltz), opens in the UK next week on 12 October and in the US on October 21.

Newlywed and daddy-to-be Orlando Bloom is on the set of The Three Muskateers in 3D in Germany. He plays the Duke of Buckingham while costars Milla Jovovich and Christoph Waltz (also pictured) play M’lady de Winter and Cardinal Richelieu respectively.

Hollywood Life caught up with Milla at New York Fashion Week where she dished on what it was like to be strapped into a corset:

“We asked for smoothies for lunch because once you get into those corsets it is so painful! After you have lunch it’s impossible to get back in there without feeling like you’re going to have to throw up.”

“I mean it’s incredible when you’re walking around in these costumes you can really understand what these women must have felt like,”

She goes on to say that the outfit cut off her circulation:

“At one point I remember they put all this body makeup on my hands to make me pale and they looked beautiful, but once I got the costume on I came in and she the makeup artist was like, ‘What happened to your hands?’ and I was like ‘What do you mean?’ and I looked down and my hands were blue and looked bruised!”

We were trying to find all these different color combinations to put on my hands cause all of a sudden my hands were blue and bloated and then we realized the arms of the costume were so tight it cut off my circulation so we had to cut the costume open to get the blood flowing and they finally went back to normal.”

I can only imagine the budget for the costumes on that movie!

The pictures state it’s Milla Jovovich in them but if she’s in New York for fashion week I’m not sure if that is her or not, or when the pictures were taken.

The 2010 WonderCon took place in San Francisco over the weekend and mister Prince of Persia himself, Jake Gyllenhaal looked positively delicious as he attended to promote his film.  What the hell was Reese Witherspoon thinking giving up this yummy piece of man meat?

Milla Jovovich, and Ali Larter attended promoting Resident Evil:  Afterlife with Milla’s director/husband Paul W.S. Anderson.

Also attending WonderCon was Nicolas Cage rocking a long blond hairstyle that made me want to hurl my breakfast at my laptop.  Some people think his money issues are a big deal, I’m thinking that hairstyle is just bad karma all around. I’m just saying.

Milla Jovovich, husband Paul W.S. Anderson and their adorable baby girl Ever Anderson hit the Cold Water Park in Beverly Hills.  I love those cheeks!!

Milla’s movie, The Fourth Kind hits DVD & Blu-Ray in March where she stars as a psychologist who discovers frighting similarities amongst her patients in regards to alien abductions. It was released on November 6, 2009 theatrically and made $45.5 million domestically.

But not to worry, Milla has a few other projects that you will be seeing her in according to imdb.
