Beyonce stole the show last night at the 2011 MTV VMAs not only on the red carpet where she showed off her baby bump, but when she performed. I loved how at the end she dropped the microphone and rubbed her tummy.

Jay-Z couldn’t be a prouder pappa.  He and Kanye West were so happy and if I saw correctly, Jay-Z looked to have a tear or two in his eyes.

Beyonce is totally glowing and looks amazing. Congrats again to the happy couple. Watch her incredible performance.

Tonight the MTV Video Music Awards will be taking place in Los Angeles but there is one person (and group) who will not be attending and that is Maroon 5′s Adam Levine.

Adam 32,  isn’t too happy with MTV (could it be because he didn’t get nominated?) and took to Twitter to tell them what he thought of them:

Oh man burn. I’m pretty sure Adam doesn’t care given his Moves Like Jagger has sold 1,000,000 copies in the U.S.! I don’t know about you but that song never gets tired. LOVE IT!

Does Adam regret his outburst on Twitter? Not so much:

Not sure what is behind Adam’s outburst, whether it is because of not being nominated or what. Either way tonight the MTV Music Video Awards will take place at 9/8C. Will you be watching?

Lady Gaga is adding to her resume and this edition will be in the ways of scents.  The Little Monster icon is debuting her first fragrance sometime in 2012.  The actual “flavor” is in the works, but the name is naturally, ‘Monster.’  I kind of think it should be ‘Little Monster’ instead.  When I hear Monster alone, I think of the energy drink….  Maybe they will add Little later.

Her contract with Coty Inc. references plural fragrances, so we can expect a full line over the next few years.

After Gaga’s meat dress frenzy at the 2010 VMAs, there is a lot of speculation as to whether or not she will be creating a scent to resemble the stench of the dress.  I’d like to say, seriously?  Of course Lady Gaga isn’t going to create a perfume that smells like rotting meat and expect people to wear it.  Although, it is Lady Gaga and I am pretty sure all of her Little Monster fans would actually buy it.  Yes, she’s that powerful.

Aside from Maria Menounos (pictured above) I didn’t think anybody’s outfit was all that great at last night’s MTV VMAs. Katy Perry admitted she looked like a figure skater.  Her saving grace was the little faces of fiance Russell Brand on her finger nails. Coincidentally as I was watching the MTV VMA’s I was wearing panties that had Russell Brand’s face on them.

Lady GaGa looked like a proud peacock in her outfit. Her outfits always look very uncomfortable to me. Snooki dipped herself a little to long in the bronzing cauldron before the show.

Overall the outfits and the show itself were kind of uneventful.  I love Chelsea Handler but I don’t think she was the greatest host.  I liked her opening skit that featured Lindsay Lohan.

I loved watching Eminem perform and then singing Love The Way You Lie with Rihanna but it was cut short. Perhaps that’s because he had to catch a plane.

Taylor Swift’s song was apparently about forgiving Kanye West and I guess the best reference to that was when she sang you are not what you did. Apparently they met backstage and talked before she went out and all is good.  According to US they both agreed not to talk to others about their conversation.

Kanye’s song was hysterical Let’s have a toast for the douchebags.  I would have thought he would sing his song for Taylor Swift but I’m pretty sure that wasn’t it. Kanye still has his edge about him, doesn’t he?

Lady GaGa has scored a record 13 MTV Music Video Award nominations today.  She received Video of the Year nods and she’ll be up against Katy Perry and Ke$ha in the Best Female Video category. All three ladies, along with Beyonce, will also face off for Best Pop Video. Lady GaGa thanked her little monsters via Twitter:

Eminem received 8 nominations but he’s not so happy:

“Apparently MTV doesn’t care that I have two massive stadium shows on the other side of the country the day after the VMAs. F me, right?!?!,” says the rapper, who’s up for Best Male and Best Hip Hop Videos. “I mean, I’ll be there but don’t expect me to be nice about it.”

Does that mean he’s going to throw a hissy fit? Considering the MVA’s are probably around the same time each year and he does have an album out, perhaps his people could have organized his tour a bit better? I’m just saying. Please don’t hurt me Mr. Eminem.

I love them both but the second one is my favorite.  I am so glad to see her looking so well.  That’s great news.  Go Britney !!!!!

I’m not familiar with Russell Brand’s work, but I have a lot of U.K. viewers, so tell me:  how wild and lively will it get, lol?  He strikes me as someone that is going to keep us very entertained throughout the evening.
