Jessie and the Toy Boys released the video to their song 'Runaway' in response to Proposition 8 being overturned in California. Says Jessie:

When I wrote 'Runaway' with DJ Skeet Skeet, we wrote it from the perspective of our 13 year old selves, who felt pressure from our parents and society to be something that we were not. The song is ultimately about breaking free and following your heart. I wanted to make a music video that told a similar story in relation to gay marriage. I was honored to have the beautiful and brave Mollie Thomas star in my video, and I hope that together we are able to bring about more awareness to an issue that is near and dear to both of our hearts and spread a message of equality.

I love the message 'love is all that matters'. Their debut album 'This Is How Rumors Start' will be released later this year. For now, download the track “Runaway” for free by following this link (found under the video on Youtube). Jessie and the Toy Boys are also celebrating Valentine's Day by giving away the track "Valentine" exclusively on their official site.

Yesterday Rihanna celebrated her 24th birthday and what better way to do so than to release a remix of a song called Cake with the ex boyfriend (Chris Brown) that beat the sh*t out of you (and has the police record to show for it) and promote the crap out of it on Twitter with him.  They also released his song (also remixed) Turn Up The Music.

Oh RiRi, I wish you could see all that is wrong with this and find the strength to truly move on and give yourself a beautiful and healthy life. But sometimes this is the cycle of abuse where a person justifies otherwise unhealthy actions downplaying the seriousness of it all. 

Rihanna and Chris Brown collaborated to put out a remix of Birthday Cake. ONTD posted it and received over 4,400 comments on the post. I don't have the stats, but I would say that's a record. Here's the part that he sings on her song:

"Girl I wanna f-ck you right now. Been a long time I been missing your body," Brown sings on the remix. "Lemme, lemme turn the lights down. When I, when I go down it's a private party."

Former frontman for Soundgarden, Chris Cornell showed Whitney Houston some love and respect by doing an acoustic version of 'I Will Always Love You' at the Obama 2012 Rally in San Francisco yesterday. And while it is a very different way of singing it (the way we are used to hearing it from Whitney) he did an AMAZING job! The audience loved it.

The Pretty Reckless are gearing up to do some touring with Marilyn Manson and are enticing their fans with their latest video 'You'. This video seems like a departure for the group (honestly I'm not familiar with a lot of their music so maybe it's not at all) in that it's more of a torch song. 

Taylor Momsen co-wrote the song and despite being only 18, she writes and sings from a very mature perspective. A movie is playing on the screen behind her of a couple making love and the girl is made to look like Taylor although I don't know if that is her.

Of course she's in the video in her underwear but we're still kind of floored she wore a dress at New York Fashion Week.

Drizzy Drake kicked off his Club Paradise tour last night on Valentine's Day at the Bank United Center in Miami and judging by the tweets of the show it was the best concert EVER. He continues through the U.S. until his last show in San Diego on March 11 and then it's off to the U.K. where his first show will be in Dublin, Ireland on March 24.

The after party was held at Rush nightclub where there were cakes and sparklers and everything.

Shane Harper has just unveiled his official video for his latest single, "Rocketship," which comes from Harper's upcoming album, which will exclusively be released through Target on February 14th. "The process of writing a song, recording, and then shooting a video for it is really an incredible experience," said Shane. "I hope everyone enjoys watching it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Harper's album will be released through Deep Well Records (launched by Glee & Rock of Ages Executive Music Producer, Adam Anders) and is available only at any Target on Valentine's Day (which is also the young musician and actor's 19th birthday).
