“Growing up, I would sing songs in my living room and mimic bands like ‘NSync,” J tells In Touch. “Justin is an amazing performer and entertainer.”

Guess what else he’s got going?   A role in the upcoming sure-to-be hit Rock of Ages alongside Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand.Yeah, that’s HUGE!  This is either going to make or break his career.  You wait and see!

“It’s kind of surreal. I’m big fans of all of them!” J says.

Um yeah.  He’s way out of his league, but let’s see if he can prove himself.

Rihanna’s Loud Tour was cut short last night at the American Airlines Center in Dallas,  Texas when fire broke out as it appeared a light caught fire above the stage. Can you believe people are actually cheering in this video? I can’t imagine the stadium being filled with rookie firefighters vying for their first blaze. Weird, right? Thankfully no one was injured and Rihanna later tweeted:

DALLAS!!! We set the stage on FYAH TONIGHT!!! LITERALLY!!!”, she tweeted.

“I was havin so much fun wit yall too!!! I gotta come back man!!!”

Be warned that you can hear swearing in the background so if you are at work or have little kiddies around turn the volume down!

The last people you would think to cover Adele’s Rolling in the Deep would be Linkin Park, but you know what? They did a great job. I have to be honest I’ve heard of Linkin Park but I’ve not listened to their music (that I was aware of) but I’m really impressed with them doing Rolling in the Deep.

Pia Toscano may have been let go on American Idol WAY too soon, but somebody saw her talent and signed her to a record deal. That somebody is none other than Interscope Records’ (and American Idol mentor), Jimmy Iovine. Bless Mr. Iovine and his great taste in music and talent.

Her new album will be out later this year with the first single being “This Time” coming out on July 12 which you will see her sing during the American Idol LIVE! tour.

The new single will have an acoustic sound to it courtesy of Ester Dean.

Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Let Me Down’ AUDIO

Kelly Clarkson’s latest single ‘Let Me Down’ has made its way on to the internets. I’m not sure if it’s intentional or not which means it could get taken down. Or I could go to jail. I’m pretty hungry. I wonder if they are serving food about now?

News that songstress Adele is healthy again (from a bad bout of laryngitis) and is planning on rescheduling her cancelled tour dates is fabulous news! Especially if you had tickets to her show.

She had to rest her beautiful vocals for the last month and if you think you were frustrated, imagine how she felt? Singing is what she’s meant to do, and having that taken away from you must have been horrible for her.

And it’s because of her love and dedication that she had to rest:

“It’s basically a hole in your vocal chord, but I sang through it, so that’s why it popped,” she said. “But I’m better now. It’s fine. I got the all-clear.”

The tour resumes August 9. Check this site out for a full listing of tour dates.

Beyonce OWNED it at the Glastonbury Festival 2011 where she headlined the annual festival being the first woman in 20 years to do so in the history of Glastonbury.

Beyonce sang ‘Single Ladies’,  ’Run The World (Girls)’, ‘If I Were A Boy’, and also a medley including songs from her Destiny Child days ‘Independent Women’, ‘Bootylicious’ and other songs. She closed Glastonbury 2011 with Halo.

Lady Gaga in Japan

Lady Gaga was out in Japan for a very good cause: the aid of Japan.  Since the tsunami and earthquakes, the people of Japan have been left in a world of devastation.  She rocked the MTV Video Music Aid Japan special.   Singing Edge of Glory and Born This Way, she inspired the crowd and owned the stage.

“I can’t say enough to people all over the world that the majority of Japan right now, Japan in general, is very safe,” Gaga told reporters during her visit to the earthquake-ravaged country. “It’s fine to come here. It’s beautiful.”

Remember how Justin Bieber refused to cancel his concerts there?  Should the rest of the world quit being afraid of Japan too?
