Miley Cyrus is getting another round of shock and horror responses for her “behavior” and I am still rolling my eyes over it.  The crowd who still believes that Miley Cyrus is Hannah Montana is throwing a huge hissy fit over her latest music video, ‘Who Owns My Heart.’

I will concede that this is Miley’s hottest, most provocative performance to date..but, that’s the point.  Miley doesn’t want to be in the Hannah Montana category anymore.  Those days are behind her and she’s out to turn on the adult world, and it’s working.

This video is so sexually charged, you can’t talk your way out of it.  Miley works the camera in her undies and bumps and grinds in a barely there outfit that you would never see her wear in real life.  But there’s my point.  Music videos are like short movies.  They are acting.  This isn’t Miley Cyrus.  This is a character coming out of the lyrics in her song.

Amy Winehouse left her eyeliner at home as she played secret charity gig called ‘Apocalypstick’ at The Hawley Arms in Camden Town, London last night. The performance was in aid of ‘Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy Charity’ London, England.

Apparently she had to be helped out of the bar afterwards as she was a bit tipsy (so says the write up with the photographs).  She doesn’t look cracked out though and she actually looks healthy and I have to say I like her with a lot less make up.  She’s less scary looking.

She tells Britain’s Glamour magazine that she’s clean:

“I’m much healthier now. I used to use drugs and I haven’t used drugs in almost three years. It’s not a hard thing. I literally woke up one day and was like, ‘I don’t want to do this anymore’.”

I think she means the hard stuff and doesn’t mean alcohol.

It’s been way too long since we’ve heard from The Doobie Brothers and now you can here them live at 6:30 p.m. ET TODAY!!!

They are partnering with Marriott and AT&T to broadcast a live, 90 minute acoustic concert in promotion of their new album, World Gone Crazy.

Show The Doobie Brothers some love! This is a groundbreaking event where hopefully we are going to see more of this incredible band!

Eminem, along with other musicians and rappers attended yesterday’s Epicenter Twenty Ten in Fontana California, where he kind of stole the show from KISS who were the headliners. I’m a little surprised that in 2010 KISS are the headliners and not Eminem, so it’s not so shocking now is it?

According to the write-up with the photo he hit the stage:

in dramatic fashion after a Star Wars-type script scrolled across a space-themed giant screen, calling the show the Detroit native’s “Recovery”. The cinematic note read, “In 2005, after completing a U.S. tour, Eminem stopped performing. Eminem entered rehab, a European tour was cancelled and there were rumors that he was retiring. Over the following years, Eminem appeared to be detached and unfocused. Seldom did he return to perform live. Tonight Eminem returns to the stage. You are all here to witness Eminem’s Recovery.”

Marshall Mathers performed such tunes as My Name Is, The Real Slim Shady, Stan, Not Afraid, I Love The Way You Lie and his encore was Lose Yourself

During his performances the jumbo screen showed images of  his late BFF Proof as well as slain rappers Notorious B.I.G., and Tupac Shakur.

Apparently after Eminem finished performing half of the stadium left. Who can blame them? Were you there? Was it as epic as the write-up says?

Seeing these pictures of Shakira at Madison Square Gardens last night makes me want to drop to the floor and spend the day doing stomach crunches. Of course once I finish eating my breakfast donuts.

She opened the show with every heterosexual male’s fantasy of her:

“I am here to please you”

She got a good review in The New York Times. I quickly skimmed the review so I don’t know if the concert was sold out or not but I imagine that is one show very much worth seeing.

Original Television Soundtrack: The Vampire Diaries isn’t due out until October 12th, but fans can get a taste of the first single now in a new video featuring footage from the show.

“Obsession,” the first international single from up-and-coming pop artist Sky Ferreria, is the lead track off the the soundtrack which features a mix of exclusive tracks unavailable elsewhere—including songs by Smashing Pumpkins and Gorillaz—plus favorites from season one of the hit TV show, including “Sleep Alone” by Bat for Lashes and “Running Up That Hill” by Placebo.

The soundtrack will be available on October 12 through Virgin Records.  It is available for preorder now.

With perfectly applied make-up and a killer wardrobe, Adam Lambert took his Glam Nation tour to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida last night where he did a bit of tongue-diving with one of his band mates.

He addressed the very recent paparazzi incident on Twitter by telling his fans:

“I lost my temper for a sec (second) but wow it felt great…” Battery? Nope. I attempted to grab a camera, no punches were thrown and no one was on the ground… It was literally harmless. If embarrassment is a crime – that’s all I’m guilty of.

Either way, he looks damn fine in his pants at this concert.  I’m just saying.
