On Monday, May 7, Nicki Minaj's Pepsi commercial will air in support of their global campaign “Live For Now.”  Her song 'Now in the Moment' has been remixed specifically for the commercial (that is reported to be a multi-million dollar deal) and that shot above is your first look from the campaign:

"Live for Now" will invite and inspire Pepsi fans to live each moment to the fullest through a breadth of global, pop-culture platforms, including relationships with music and entertainment brand evangelists, digital innovation, epic events and unique partnerships.  The multi-year campaign will launch first in the United States and begin to roll-out globally throughout 2012. 

Pepsi has also teamed up with Katy Perry by sponsoring her upcoming movie, "Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D.” That film hits theatres July 5^th.

Nicki Minaj has just inked a seven figure Pepsi Deal and also said buh-bye to her talent representation CAA. She has rolled up all of her representation(tour and business)  into her own management company Blueprint Group. This coming just weeks before the April 3rd debut of her album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded

In addition to filming an international commercial for the soft drink maker (it's already in the can, no pun intended), she will also be the face of their new product Pop, a natural soda..

No word on the specific amount she got for the Pepsi deal but seven figures is pretty damned good! 2012 is looking to be a fabulous year for the rapper what with her performing with Madonna at Super Bowl, being an ambassador for Mac Viva Glam (which brings about AIDS awareness) and now this news.

Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin were the guests of honor at last night's Mac Viva Glam party in New York City promoting AIDS Awareness. Kelly Osbourne was also on hand to raise awareness.

Nicki talked about how growing up she never had a conversation with her mother and didn't really understand what AIDS was and how one got it. Ricky, quite rightly, points out how at one time it was all the talk and then it stopped but meanwhile the incidences of AIDS did not.

BET is refusing to run Nicki Minaj's latest video 'Stupid Hoe' and the execs aren't giving a reason as to why they are refusing to air it TMZ is reporting.

However sources are telling them that it's because she uses the word hoe repeatedly and there are lots of naked women in the video. In all honesty I don't watch BET but would this really be the first video like that, that the network has aired?

So I watched the video and while there is a lot of vulgarity I don't think it's all that different from what's out  there today from other artists. It's actually kind of freaky which makes it funny and that isn't even because she's pronouncing 'ho' as 'how' for most of the song.

The fact that BET is refusing to air it is ingenious. The video has received over 20 million views. Nicki Minaj will be at the Super Bowl half time this Sunday. I can't see this song being suitable to a Super Bowl crowd so it makes you wonder if she's going to sing this or what?

You've got to love the second line into the song where she sings; 'I'm Angelina, you Jennifer, come on bitch you see where Brad at'

Mattel has released Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry Barbie dolls that are up for auction on Charitybuzz.com with the proceeds going to the Project Angel Food foundation which delivers meals to men, women and children homebound by HIV/AIDS and other serious illnesses.

The Katy Perry doll was designed by Amy Lee and features 70 hand-painted cupcakes. It is incredibly detailed and inspired by Katy's California Gurls video. The doll also features Swarovski crystals and fishnet stockings. The doll currently has a bid of $2,250 and is expected to fetch as much as $15,000. 

The bids close for both dolls on December 19 at 3 p.m. EST. Nicki's doll currently has a bid of $1,650 and is expected to fetch $15,000 as well. Both dolls started at a $1,000 bid.

Nicki is totally jazzed by the doll and said of the honor at the Billboard's Women in Music event:

"It's just a one of a kind, limited edition for charity, and so I never thought Mattel would even pay attention to me," "For me this is a very major moment, because it just shows that you can come from nothing and still be a force in the main world, a business woman, and hopefully a mogul one day."

The dolls are gorgeous and going to a very worthy charity.

She's barely 22 (her birthday is December 13) and Taylor Swift has made Billboard history by being the youngest ever 'Woman of the Year'.  The honors took place at the Billboard's Women in Music event at Capitale in New York yesterday afternoon.

Taylor is having a year that dreams are made of. In addition to this honor, Billboard also honored her with top country album, top Billboard 200 artist and top country artist. In addition to that she just won Entertainer of the Year by the Academy of Country Music Association. Did I mention she's only 21?

Her new album Speak is going through the roof in sales with its first week seeing 1 million units sold and a total of 3.7 million sold to date. That's just one album. In total this sweet girl has sold 40 million in digital track sales and 20 million in album sales in her entire career.  Billboard has written a lovely article about all of her accomplishments. It's well worth the read.

Nicki Minaj was also honored at the event with the Rising Star award. Nicki first appeared on the Billboard chart two short years ago with I Get Crazy, so we can only imagine what  she will accomplish throughout her career.  In 2011 Nicki's Super Bass was one of 8 Top 40 Hot 100 hits the singer saw.
