Sean 'Diddy' Combs T-Mobile Magenta Carpet

Diddy had to cancel his concert in Phoenix, Arizona last night because he had doctor’s orders to stay in bed thanks to a really high fever.  So Diddy reached out to his fans through his Twitter to share the bad news,

“i guess i pushed it too far because i literally cant get outta bed.”

“im sorry phoenix-i regretfully have to cancel the show. im so sorry.”

His rep confirmed the news to TMZ saying,

“Sean has a high fever and is under doctor’s orders to stay in bed.”

I sympathize, but man, if I was a crazy fan, I’d be so disappointed.  They didn’t mention a reschedule either so I think that perhaps they are just going to refund the tickets and call it a day.

By the way, did you hear about Justin Bieber barfing between songs during his latest concert in the Philippines?  He powered through it.  …….Just sayin….

Skylar Grey - Coming Home

Diddy-Dirty Money and Skylar Grey were in Los Angeles for the second to last stop of the Coming Home tour at Club Nokia on Saturday night. Diddy, Dawn, and Kalenna closed the show with Skylar singing Coming Home.  I absolutely love this song.  I am such a fan of Skylar.  Last time I saw her perform this was on American Idol and she was at the piano.  I can’t decide which one I like better.  She’s just so good.  Can’t wait for her to finally drop her own album.

This tour lost a few dates along the way.  Speculation said that ticket sales were down.  But Diddy said something about logistics or some nonsense.  Let’s face it, the economy is killing us… mostly these damn gas prices.  Will it ever let up?  Good thing for you, watching this performance (below) is free.

P. Diddy aka Sean Combs is getting ready to guest star on one of my new, favorite shows, Hawaii Five-O.   He will play the part of,

NYPD Detective Reggie Williams, who hunts the streets of Honolulu for the men responsible for a crime against his family, but his one-man war for justice sets this fellow cop on a collision course with Five-0.  To prepare for his first action role, Combs will undergo weapons instruction and training with a Navy S.E.A.L. Several of his biggest hit songs will also be featured throughout the episode.

Diddy – Dirty Money Premieres “Loving You No More” Featuring Drake

I can actually picture him in this role and I think it’s going to be good!  Sean is always good at what he does, and we know the music will be good for that episode.  It’s set to air in the spring.

Sean ‘P. Diddy Combs’ new group Diddy- Dirty Money are featuring their new single with Young Money rapper, Drake and it’s called Loving You No More which is the first single off of Diddy – Dirty Money’s debut album Last Train To Paris which hits stores December 14.

I really love Sean Combs.  I get a kick out of him, but I never know what to call him from one year to the next. Did you see Get Him To The Greek? Diddy was awesome in it.  And any of you who read this blog regularly know I have it real bad for Russell Brand, but I just thought Sean was hysterical in it.  Especially after he got hit by a car, and leaves Russell Brand’s character the message he does.  Too funny!

But I digress.  Diddy – Dirty Money is comprised of hip-hop and R & B trio Sean Combs, Dawn Richard, and Kalenna Harper.  While Combs has had unsurpassed success in many different realms, from fashion to spirits to film, the lush sound-scape of Last Train represents a renewed commitment to music from the multi talented impresario.

The album blends elements of UK grime, Mediterranean techno and the 808s of American hip hop to form a new sound called Diddy calls “train music.” By opening up a chapter of his own life to tell the story, he has crafted an album that is both expressive and exciting that promises to redefine dance music for the new decade.
