Sweet Jesus we did not see that one coming. Pamela Anderson brings porn and Playboy to mind when people think of her, not to mention her ginormous rack. So to think of her in the Virgin Mary role is quite a stretch, isn't it? But you know what? Pammy can laugh at herself and she's in on the joke!

Of course Pamela Anderson playing her for a Christmas TV Show has to be a joke right? Well it is. It's for the Comedy Network and CTV's 'A Russell Peters' Christmas Special. If you don't know who Russell Peters is, he is a very funny Canadian comedian (and kind of sexy if you ask me).

The one hour special will hit your television December 1st and we will get to see Pamela Anderson with Russell Peters in the Nativity Scene sketch. 

Fellow Canadians Michael Buble and Scott Thompson (Kids in the Hall) will be on the show along with Ted Lange (The Love Boat) and Jon Lovitz.

Lil Miss Pamela Anderson is in a new lingerie photo shoot and she’s looking as good as she did a million years ago!  How does she do it?  Oh yeah!  Photoshop!  It’s an old girl’s best friend!  Pam is featured in this shoot for  the European lingerie company Bonita De Mas. It’s a Parisian lingerie line described ‘by a blend of French elegance with colourful touches of Latin Mediterranean style to create an amazing sensual collection.’

So how is Pam still so slim??  She says her two sons Brandon, 15, and Dylan, 13, have helped a lot!

“My kids keep me in shape. I play every sport with them – football, basketball, baseball.  I’m always outside and on the beach and in the water and I’m not a real gym person.  I don’t do the gym and I don’t diet. I’m vegetarian but I don’t diet.”

This random guy approached her on the train, but the British Transport Police removed him from the train, then he went nuts on them and assaulted one of the officers.

There have been several reports that this same freak has been pretty much stalking her for weeks and that she’s taken on extra security just because of him!

Pamela Anderson’s PETA Ad Banned In Montreal

So what’s Pammy up to these days?  She’s over in Tel Aviv where she was doing a press conference before appearing on the Israeli version of Dancing with the Stars.  I didn’t even know that Israel had a DWTS show!  I am sure that she brought a nice piece of American sexiness to the show.

Pam is also out there promoting a ban on fur.  She’s a huge PeTA girl and is definitely doing her part to save the animals.  I give her mad props for that.

Pamela Anderson is pictured with the two new members of her family:  dogs she rescued that were left abandoned in animal shelters in Louisiana following the massive oil spill disaster in the Gulf.

Pamela has teamed up with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), to relocate approximately 50 pooches to Virginia.  Not only is she helping them, but she has generously covered the costs for the dogs to be locally adopted, as well as paying for spay-and-neuter and flea treatment.

Pamela Anderson is an Angel for doing that!  She says:

“Everywhere you go, there are far more dogs than good homes, but the crisis in Louisiana is prompting people to open their hearts and doors to animals in trouble.”

According to WENN:

PETA campaigners were called into action by officials at the Humane Society of Louisiana, who pleaded for help to evacuate the shelter dogs.

They are working with the Virginia Beach Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) to place the pooches and even bosses at American Airlines and Southwest Airlines have stepped up to help – flying in PETA volunteers from around the U.S. for free to aid the big move.

Now that’s a beautiful thing!

You know you’ve got plenty of material to play with when the gust of honour at the Comedy Central Roast is David Hasselhoff.  Pamela Anderson, Jerry Springer and Hulk Hogan toasted and roasted the Hoff as well as Comedy Central’s queen of roasting Lisa Lampanelli.  It’s not a roast if Lisa is not there.

David was accompanied by his daughters Hayley, 17, and Taylor Ann, 20, to the event which ended up turning  into a Baywatch reunion with not only Pamela, but Gena Lee Nolin, Traci Bingham, Nicole Eggert, Angelica Bridges, Jeremy Jackson and Alexandra Paul.

The show will air on the Comedy Central channel on August 15.

Pamela Anderson‘s recent PETA billboard has been banned in Montreal.  According to City Commissioner Josee Rocheford:

‘I have to inform you that we, as public officials representing a municipal government, cannot endorse this image of Ms Anderson’.

‘It is not so much controversial as it goes against all principles public organisations are fighting for in the everlasting battle of equality between men and women. We therefore will not give you a permit to hold your event on Place Jacques-Cartier’

I’m not sure I’m buying that reasoning.  As far as I know (and this is from a couple of years back so I realize it may have changed) the province of Quebec was the only province in all of North America that did not have animal cruelty laws. If that is still the case I have to wonder if it relates to that because as Pamela Anderson states:

‘In a city that is known for its exotic dancing and for being progressive and edgy, how sad that a woman would be banned from using her own body in a political protest over the suffering of cows and chickens… I didn’t think that Canada would be so puritanical’

Something doesn’t make sense, right? PETA Senior Vice President Dan Mathews:

‘I think that city officials are confusing ‘sexy’ with ‘sexist‘
