Friday and Saturday night the legendary and iconic Prince performed in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre. Friday night not only saw Prince return with 8 encores, it saw a guy propose to a girl on stage when Prince invites audience members to dance on stage. You'll see it in the left-hand side of the video. This couple seem SO happy and I mean who could blame them? The guy then proceeds to dance his ass off and is quite the showman himself.

I was lucky enough to attend the Saturday concert and I have to say it was without question the best concert I have ever been to. Everyone was up on their feet dancing. I always knew Prince was amazing on a guitar but to see it live is an incredible experience. If you ever have the chance in your lifetime to see him in concert, I would highly recommend it. I would have taken pictures but they are very strict and although I smuggled a camera in (unfortunately no cavity searches so they didn't find it) I was too close to security and too much of a pussy to use it. Prince doesn't have an opening act because the man performs for 3 hours!

And as to this couple, congratulations! What a fabulous night you must have had. If you know these people drop us a line we'd love to hear from you!

Prince performed at Madison Square Gardens last night where he pulled some people up on stage (was the first one Wanda Sykes?), the most talked-about being Kim Kardashian. When she failed to shake her booty he kicked her off the stage. It was hysterical.

The humour was not lost on Kim as she tweeted:

Come on people! Doesn’t anyone have a sense of humor?! Prince must not have seen Dancing With The Stars! LOL

She tweeted that she redeemed herself with a second chance on stage from the Purple Prince:

Went up on stage AGAIN! This time I redeemed myself! We all danced while Prince played the piano! Wow! What a night!

I couldn’t find any video of the redemption dance so we’re going to have to take her word for it.

Halle Berry’s ex Gabriel Aubry is in court, working out custody and her other ex, is getting married.  Halle was married to Eric Benet for 3 years and now he’s giving it another whirl with a new bombshell, Manuela Testolini.  He popped the big question in November.

“They are engaged and very happy.”

And just to make things more interesting, Manuela was married to Prince for 5 years. That ended in 2006.  Yikes!  What a messy bunch of swapping partners!

But… congrats to the happy couple!  They are working on setting the date, we’ll let you know when we know!

His Purple Highness, Prince performed at Madison Square Gardens last night for his ‘Welcome 2 America’ tour that will also see him back at the gardens on February 7.

Prince Says The Internet Is ‘Over’

Back when the tickets went on sale for these concerts, they sold out in 30 minutes! I bet he didn’t know that most of the tickets were purchased online

Prince is not a fan of the interwebs and quite frankly dahlinks told The Mirror they are ’ova’:

The internet’s completely over. I don’t see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else. They won’t pay me an advance for it and then they get angry when they can’t get it. The internet’s like MTV. At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated. Anyway, all these computers and digital gadgets are no good. They just fill your head with numbers and that can’t be good for you.”

Um, yeah.  Okay. I’m not sure how listening to my iPod fills my head with numbers but I’m guessing Prince hasn’t held one in his tiny little hands to really understand what it does.

It looks like Katy Perry and Russell Brand are totally a couple.  Boo Hoo Hoo.  Katy looks pretty in pink as she and Russell Brand leave the John Galliano collection show during Paris Fashion Week.   And they look happy, right?
