Rachel Zoe 39, and her husband Rodger Berman have splashed out $87,000 for their four month-old son Skyler’s nursery. Because god-forbid he should wake up to an Ikea dresser or anything. He would be scarred for life.

Rachel blessed ABC (and the world) with a tour of his nursery and US provides the details:

 Zoe proudly showed off Skyler’s $1,160 Gucci bomber jacket, as well as his $3,700 shoe collection. Though the infant is too young to walk, his footwear options include a $150 pair of Tod’s loafers (among several other high-end labels). Skyler’s shoes are kept in an Oeuf mini-library, which retails for $650.

Skyler also owns a $1,400 Hermes blanket (with two matching $522 cushions) in his $914 crib. Should Skyler want to sleep somewhere else, he also has a $1,000 wooden bassinet.

Other pricey items in Skyler’s nursery include a giant stuffed giraffe ($163), a silver piggy bank ($1,355) and $78,000 worth of designer clothing, according to estimates by The Daily Mail

I’m always conflicted when it comes to this nonsense because it’s all relative. If you are a multi-millionaire (or billionaire), this isn’t out of the norm for you to splash out on a nursery. And if someone has that kind of money, power to them, right?

It just seems a tad wasteful given that infants outgrow things really quickly. I was reading the comments on US Magazine’s site and someone had the great idea that she should put the items on eBay once he outgrows them and give the money to charity! That’s a great idea.

The Prada do not fall far from the shelves, oui? Rachel Zoe’s son Skyler Morrison Berman is ready for his close-up bitches as he  rocked some baby sunglasses as mommy and nanny took him shopping at Whole Foods the other day. Because only pheasants go shopping without nannies.

This is totally Rachel Zoe’s son, isn’t it? He’s just 3 months old (born March 22, 2011) and is Rachel Zoe’s first child with husband Rodger Berman. Being a first-time mom at 39 was certainly worth it for the fashion icon as not only did she get Skyler, she got a big honking diamond ring as a ‘push’ present. Bitch.

Rachel Zoe just popped out a baby boy last month.  She’s as tiny as ever already and we are all jealous, right?  Well what did you expect?!  This is Rachel Zoe we are talking about.  Fat doesn’t cling to her in any way , shape, or form.

When asked what her secret was, she told In Touch,

“I swear to you absolutely nothing. I’m nursing. You know what, he was all in my tummy, so after like a week or so it just kind of went down.”

She is loving her life as a mom and all the perks that come with it:

“I got the most incredible baby gifts, I can’t even tell you! I got an Alexander McQueen diaper bag and a Gucci diaper bag,” she said.

Her hubby, Rodger Berman’s gift really made her smile,

“You want to know what I got from my husband for my push present?” she gushed. “I got a Neil Lane ring! I love it.” She went on to tell In Touch, “I’m happier than I have ever been in my entire life. I feel completely content and complete.”

I think all women should get push presents.  They don’t have to be diamond rings.  Just something special.  Either that, or the guys should have to trade places and do the pushing.

Tom Ford, looking as gorgeous as ever, celebrated the opening of his flagship store in Los Angeles last night with all of his celebrity friends.

Rachel Zoe rocked her tiny baby bump. Seriously, my stomach gets bigger than that after breakfast. Her baby is due in April. That’s in a little over a month. She’s tiny, right?

Also at the opening were the very handsome Colin Firth, Alexander Skarsgard, John Stamos and Kristin Davis looking positively beautiful. Lots of pictures after the break.

Rachel Zoe and her husband Rodger Berman are seen leaving the Urth Cafe in Los Angeles where she is really showing her baby bump but it looks like she’s also trying to cover it up. Why?

Their baby boy is due in April of 2011 and is the first for the couple who have been married since February of 1996. In the Fall of 2011 she is supposed to be coming out with her own clothing line which will turn into a full lifestyle brand.

Whatever. I just hope she feeds the baby.

Rachel Zoe the superstylist and her husband, Rodger Berman are having a baby and now we know it’s a boy!  The couple talked to WWD about the little man getting ready to enter the big world,

“It all depends on his arrival.  It’s a little boy.”

I wonder if Rachel cried?  I would think she’d want only girls to dress up daily.  Maybe she is just happy that she’s having a baby at all.  A source told Star,

“It was very hard for her to get pregnant.  But she’s so happy, and her husband is thrilled.”

So what’s going to change for Rachel?  A lot,

“I’ve been asked to slow down,” she tells WWD. “But to be totally honest, it’s kind of next to impossible when you’re planning your show and launching your collection, and in the middle of award season.”

Guess what?  She’s not even shopping for his wardrobe yet!

“I’m also Jewish,” she says, “so I’m a little superstitious. I’ve been sent a lot of gifts and things and my team just hides them.”
