Let’s not get ahead of ourselves! Us Weekly got the scoop on just who Melissa is:
1. She’s Canadian. Born in Toronto, Molinaro’s family moved to Rochester Hills, Michigan when she was 13.
2. She’s no stranger to reality TV. Molinaro was a contestant on Pussy Cat Dolls Present: The Search For the Next Doll and Making the Band 3.
3. Molinaro isn’t really her last name. She was born Melissa Smith, but recently adopted her mother’s maiden name “Molinaro” to pay homage to her mother — a former Miss Italia — and her proud Italian roots.
4. She’s flattered by Kim Kardashian comparisons. After starring in Old Navy’s “Super C-U-T-E” ad, comparisons between the two women were rampant. “To me it’s extremely flattering. She is a beautiful woman,” she told E! News. “That’s an amazing compliment.”
5. She had a recurring role on The Young and the Restless. She’s also had appearances on How I Met Your Mother, Brothers and Grounded for Life.
