Another one bites the dust in showbiz. Keira Knightley and her longtime boyfriend Rupert Friend have split up. Her father has confirmed this with Britain’s The Sun:

“Yes, they have broken up. But that’s the way things go, unfortunately. The only option is to get on with things. “They were together for quite a long time and it is always hard breaking up. She’s focused on her work.”

They met on the set of Pride & Prejudice in 2005 and split before Christmas. Apparently the split was mutual.

Keira Knightley and boyfriend Rupert Friend leave a club in London, England. Someone needs to tell them it’s a-ok to smile.  Just a hunch (I have no evidence), but something tells me when that girl is PMS’d you had better watch your ass and DO NOT  have eye contact.

Emily Blunt and Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson premiere The Young Victoria at The Grove in Los Angeles last night.  Sarah served as producer on this film which is:

A dramatization of the turbulent first years of Queen Victoria’s rule, and her enduring romance with Prince Albert

I’m a little confused given the film’s release date on imdb.com is March 6, 2009, but I’m just going to go with the flow and do this post

Emily’s costar (who plays Prince Albert) Rupert Friend and the film’s director Jean-Marc Vallee were in attendance as well.

The bubbly *rolling eyes* Keira Knightley and her boyfriend Rupert Friend are seen leaving a restaurant in Berlin.  Seriously, I get the impression that this girl has probably never had a really good laugh in her life.  She looks so serious and angry all the time.  Is it me?

Rupert Friend and Michelle Pfeiffer are in Berlin for the Film Festival and attending the photocall of their movie ‘Cheri’. 

According to imdb the plot for Cheri is:

A romantic drama set in 1920s Paris, where the son of a courtesan retreats into a fantasy world after being forced to end his relationship with the older woman who educated him in the ways of love.

Ooh la la.  Now that sounds hot.  Would you go see this film?
