Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Taylor Armstrong allegedly received $125,000 from Entertainment Tonight for the photo of her with a black eye as the result of (an alleged) brutal beating by her late husband Russell Armstrong. Keep in mind by using the word alleged I'm not saying I don't believe her.

Page Six is reporting that sources close to Taylor say other stations wouldn't pay anywhere near that amount but that she is so desperate for money she held out to the highest bidder. The photo was a teaser for an upcoming interview that Entertainment Tonight will air tomorrow night between Taylor and Nancy O'Dell (who I heart very badly). This will be Taylor's first interview since the suicide of Russell. 

This 'source' says the figure is definitely six figures.

You always have to take these 'sources' with a grain of salt. They could be legit or just someone with an axe to grind.

Last night season 2 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills aired and prior to the actual show, a 4 minute segment featured the Housewives (except for Taylor Armstrong) and their husbands talking about the suicide of Russell Armstrong and how they felt about it including, of course, sadness, guilt, etc. It was very poignant and, I think, in good taste. To start season 2 without any mention of it made zero sense and they way in which Bravo handled it was quite tasteful (I don’t know about you but the clip made me cry).

Did you watch the season premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills last night? A dinner party was involved and you would think it could have at least been all about the food and company but the discussion got on to therapy, where Taylor Armstrong admitted:

“We’re knee-deep into so much psycho-therapy that I’m sick of myself.”

Then Lisa Vanderpump’s husband revealed his thoughts on marital therapy:

“If I had to go to see a therapist to make my marriage better, I would feel weak.”

This of course upset Taylor who, at the time, was dealing with a lot (this was shot before her husband’s suicide) and she felt insulted by the remark.

Judging by the premiere for next week and upcoming episodes this season is going to be even more explosive than the first season and I didn’t even think that was possible.

Back on August 16 we reported the shocking suicide of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband Russell Armstrong (husband of Taylor Armstrong). Russell was found hanging in his bedroom of the house he was staying at. He had allegedly been despondent over his financial issues, impending divorce with Taylor and an alleged tell-all book that he feared.

Season 2 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has already been filming and part of it was focusing on the marital issues between Russell and Taylor that they have decided not to air in light of his suicide.

There was also much speculation on whether the show would be airing anything about his death. Which, if you think about it would make zero sense if they just chose to ignore it. I can understand not airing the counseling segments or the issues between Russell and Taylor because it’s pointless now.

Well Bravo has chosen to air a special show that will feature all the Housewives with the exception of Taylor Armstrong that will discuss the shocking suicide. All of the other Housewives: Lisa Vanderpump, Camille Grammer, Adrienne Maloof, Kim Richards and Kyle Richards filmed the show on Monday.

The new season is still scheduled to air on September 5th and it was to feature Taylor shopping for lingerie to spice up her marriage and was also to include her upset about marriage counseling with Russell. There is no word on whether that part will air or not.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is celebrating some good news this weekend: Lisa Vanderpump’s daughter Pandora 24, is getting married. It’s been a very rough couple of weeks for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills what with Russell Armstrong committing suicide. However, given that this wedding has been in the makings for a while, it will go on as scheduled.

Pandora has been keeping the engagement hush-hush, but Radar Online is reporting the nuptials will happen tomorrow in Lisa Vanderpump’s house to a guest-list of 275 in a pink themed wedding with a dinner (which you just KNOW will be out-of-this-world delicious):

“Wedding guests will enjoy a seven-course dinner of filet mignon or Chilean sea bass,” the source said.”They will begin with a typical cocktail hour and the ceremony will start around 7:30 p.m., with the Bravo cameras rolling.”

“The wedding is expected to go well into the late hours of the night and it’s a welcomed distraction for the Housewives from all the recent drama”

I would give up a vital organ for an invite to this wedding. Not because Charlie Sheen is expected (which is kind of random to us pheasants) but because I know the meal will be heavenly.

Pandora has been engaged for months and we will have to wait a little bit to see the coverage on Season 2 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. You just know that with Lisa Vanderpump behind the festivities it is going to be class, glamour and delicious.

The day after Russell Armstrong was found hanging in a friend’s home, his business associate also committed suicide TMZ is reporting.

Alan Schram was found in his vehicle outside of his Mulholland Drive home with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. He was the managing partner of Wellcap (a hedge fund group) but also part of Tiger 21 which Russell belonged to (the two also became friends). Tiger 21 was a group of people, each with a very high net-worth.

Russell was apparently despondent over severe financial troubles, his upcoming divorce from Taylor Armstrong and an alleged upcoming tell-all book that was going to be explosive. Neither man left a suicide note.

Am I the only one who finds the suicide of Alan Schram the day after Russell Armstrong committed murder a bit strange? Something is ‘off’ here. Alan apparently did not have the financial troubles that Russell did (that we know of anyways) yet both men commit suicide a day apart. It makes me wonder if they were about to be outed as either lovers or involved in something sinister.

Russell Armstrong’s Lawyer and Ex-Wife Blame Taylor Armstrong For His Suicide, But Perhaps It Was The Upcoming Explosive ‘Tell-All’

Earlier today, Russell Armstrong’s ex-wife Barbara Frederickson told Radar Online that Taylor Armstrong ‘drove’ her husband to suicide saying:

“I don’t care for her at all. I think she’s the reason for this,” “She’s not who she says she is and I told him to please be careful with this woman… I warned him! She’s bad news and she drove him into this.” “I think she [Taylor] drove him into financial stress and it just ruined him.”

While I personally thought Russell was a bit of a douche (sorry I’m not going to all of a sudden change my tune), I would never wish this on anyone. However, that being said, what I totally don’t understand is how people like to play the blame game when something this devastating happens. It serves no purpose other than to show how toxic a person is.

Her accusations cross over a line that is not only slanderous, it’s tasteless (to say the least). No one makes another commit suicide (because then it would be murder) and as horrible as suicide is, when someone is truly so distraught it is unfortunately very rare that others can help them.

His lawyer Ronald Richards did a video tape with TMZ and also blamed Taylor (more or less) for Russell’s financial problems stating all of his money went to Taylor’s (and the daughter’s) lifestyle. What is curious is that he went on to say, had he known his client’s finances were so bad, he would have done work for free. I’m sure a Beverly Hills lawyer’s rates aren’t exorbitant? I wonder how much of Russell’s finances went to legal fees in addition to his wife’s lifestyle.

The fabulous people of Starcasm published two articles back in January about Russell’s criminal past that probably had much more to do with his financial issues than his wife’s lifestyle.

I didn’t know Russell Armstrong, nor do I know his widow Taylor Armstrong or anyone in their circle, but based on that, and the latest from Radar Online that a new ‘tell-all’ book was coming out, it seems to me his own past is what led to his suicide.

This tell-all was said to be explosive and was going to include all of the many alleged skeletons in his closets such as sexual indiscretions that may be considered deviant behavior that would be shocking. Apparently several of his exes were going to be coming out and going on the record in this book.

Russell had recently learned of this and according to Radar he was quite disturbed by this. Apparently a suicide note was not left (as has been reported thus far) but regardless, to throw blame at someone for someone else’s suicide when there are many other aspects at play here, to me, is sick.

Taylor is said to be absolutely devastated by this (put yourself in her shoes and you would feel much the same way) and has a young daughter to still tell.  Her attorney Robert Thorne has issued a statement on her behalf:

“Taylor Armstrong is devastated by the tragic events that have unfolded. She requests privacy at this time so that she may comfort her young daughter.”

Our thoughts and prayers go out  to Russell Armstrong’s family including his two older sons with Barbara Frederickson.
