Katy Perry is purging her life of all things Russell Brand and that includes unloading the TriBeCa penthouse apartment she and her ex-husband purchased together 18 months ago.

The apartment was purchased before the two married for $2.75 million and that's the price she's asking for it. She doesn't even want to make any kind of profit from it! With news of Russell moving on I guess Katy is trying to do the same thing. According to the New York Post the 1,500 square foot apartment:

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom loft on North Moore Street (above) boasts a cherrywood staircase, a heated bathroom floor and a gorgeous south-facing terrace with a full city view, according to a listing with Prudential Douglas Elliman.

If I win the lottery I'm going to purchase that bad boy just so I can sweet the house for Russell Brand DNA.

Rumors have been in over-drive the last week or so that Russell Brand has moved on from Katy Perry and is seeing someone. In particular the rumor is that a brunette was seen leaving his house one morning with the same clothes she arrived in doing the walk of shame. Well it was the drive of shame because apparently she was in the passenger seat of his car.

And now The Sun has published the identity of this lucky lady and she is very sexy. And 25 years old. Oriela Medellin Amieiro is a Mexican painter that explores sensuality and sex so you know her and Russell have EVERYTHING in common. She considers herself a freelance artist and explores feelings of guilt, sensuality, sexuality and repression from a women's perspective. They allegedly met at yoga class. This means she's very flexible. Again, right up Russell's alley. Do you hear that sound? That's my heart breaking.

She's very spiritual and really seems to be his female equivalent. Apparently she was asked yesterday if she and Russell were an item to which she replied "I am not comfortable talking about this." Why doesn't this evil biotch just put a dagger through my heart already? If that isn't bad enough her apartment is not far from Russell's shop of horrors.

He sure likes the curvy girls which means I don't have to put these donuts down any time soon. So I'll just keep shoveling them into my pie hole dodging my salty tears as I imagine the animalistic sex these two are having. 

However until I see a photo of these two together or a confirmation of this relationship, I will remain in denial about the fact he has moved on already.

To all of those people who thought Russell Brand was just out for Katy Perry's money, you be wrong. By law Russell is entitled to half of Katy's money because when they married October 23, 2010 they did not have a prenup.

During their marriage TMZ is reporting that Katy reportedly made $44 Million which would make Russell potentially wealthier by $22 Million. However Russell's lawyer filed final divorce papers yesterday and he is not asking for any of his community property rights. The divorce will be final in June and according to a source:

"This divorce is as amicable as it gets, and Russell was a mensch (Yiddish for a good person)."

While I find it hard to believe it's as 'amicable' as this source is saying, I'm not at all surprised that Russell doesn't want any of her money. He's been nothing but a gentleman since he filed for divorce.

My first thought when I saw these photos of Russell Brand in Los Angeles were: 'look at those moobs'. I don't mean to be mean but he is rocking some perky moobs. But that could never turn me off of my dirty fantasy. I still heart him.

Although I don't have the pictures, he actually gave the homeless man in the photo a fist full of cash as he often does with homeless people. You can see those photos at The Daily Mail. Their article is interesting given they chastise Julianne Hough for 'only' giving $1 versus what Russell did.

US Weekly is confirming that Katy Perry 27, will be performing at this year's 54th Annual Grammy Awards marking her first performance post-split from her husband (and my dirty dirty fantasy) Russell Brand 36

The awards' ceremony will be live in Los Angeles on February 12th and you know we will have all of the news including winner's list, red carpet, press room and after party photos. But enough about pimping the site.

Katy has nominations in both Record of the Year (Firework) and Best Pop Solo Performance. The Grammy's are to music what Oscars are to movies.

If you recall last year Katy shared some of her wedding day video footage while she performed and I will totally bet my life that will not be the case this year.

Katy was recently in Las Vegas at the Mirage Hotel for the GiveLove charity event with her best friend Marcus Molinari. A source tells US that she was still very sad in Vegas.

Katy Perry has finally emerged (in a professional capacity) since Russell Brand filed for divorce. She was in Las Vegas last night at the Mirage Hotel to kick off the Grand Opening Weekend and GiveLove event with co-host J. Molinari Jewelry.

She rocked her trademark Smurf-like blue hair. It makes me wonder if she's sending a message to Russell that she's blue? Her fingertips are also painted blue. Talk about analyzing stuff to death, right?

Patricia Arquette is co-founder of the GiveLove organization which seeks to improve sanitation in Haiti. The dude with Katy is with is Marcus Molinari.
