OMG! This is shocking (but not really)! Russell Brand has filed for divorce from Katy Perry TMZ is reporting. The two just celebrated their one year anniversary in October (the 23rd) amid lots of rumors of break ups and what not.  He is citing irreconcilable differences.

She was in Hawaii on Christmas and he stayed in London sans wedding ring which of course sparked lots of rumors. Russell has released the following statement:

"Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."

While people are so shocked they weren`t denying any issues, does anyone really admit to issues while they are happening? Of course not.

I don't think the rumors are going to die down much: these two did NOT have a prenup!

Christmas is a time for family and loved ones and the fact that Katy Perry and Russell Brand spent Christmas 7,000 miles apart, there is no denying SOMETHING is up. According to US Weekly the two had a huge fight where each said to the other f*ck you and went their separate ways. She headed off to Hawaii with friends and he was in Coverack, Cornwall. 

Either these two are incredibly stubborn or there is more happening than just a fight. They are still in the Honeymoon phase of their relationship, so why spend Christmas apart? She's also just finished a world tour and had said she was going to be taking a year spending it with Russell. Although the two have denied their relationship is in trouble (sort of, they did not come out and say no we aren't divorcing) I'm not buying it.

When Katy was at the 2011 American Music Awards not only was she not with Russell Brand (he was in Los Angeles at the time) she didn't thank him in her speech. 

These alleged issues aren't just current according to US Weekly's source:

"They haven't split up just yet, but things are not good," "The fighting is getting worse."

Katy was originally going to be taking her family to England with her  to celebrate Christmas with Russell until their massive fight.  Interestingly enough, Russell hasn't tweeted since December 18th, not that he tweets a lot. Listen to me, I sound like a stalker, hehe. Katy tweeted on the 26th of December where she tweeted a link to a site that had pictures of her and friends partying.

If these two are in the process of splitting up, I'd like to appeal to them to announce it before 2012 so that I can add it to my 2011 Celebrity Splits list. This would make it 35 couples which is a nice round number to end the year on.

While some studios are still in the thrall of awards-season desserts, Warner Brothers  is giving us some amuse bouche from their 2012 menu. Kicking off the 2012 movie season, Warner Bros.  has released some new images from horror thriller The Apparition with Ashley Greene, Sylvester Stallone's action thriller Bullet To The Head, the musical Rock Of Ages, and the latest Nicholas Sparks based, four hankie tearjerker, The Lucky One, starring Zac Efron. A little something for everyone?

The Apparition is about a couple Kelly (Ashley Greene) and Ben (Sebastian Stan) who discover they are being haunted by a presence that was accidentally conjured during a university parapsychology experiment. The horrifying apparition feeds on their fear and torments them no matter where they try to run. Their last hope is an expert in the supernatural (Tom Felton), but even with his help they may already be too late to save themselves from this terrifying force…  Written, produced and directed by Todd Lincoln (who has nothing else to recommend him. I have no idea what that indicates), The Apparition also stars Julianna Guill, Rick Gomez, Anna Clark and Luke Pasqualino. It opens August 24

The Lucky One stars Zac Efron as USMC Sgt Logan Thibault who returns from his 3^rd tour of duy in Iraq with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive- a photograph of he doesn’t know. He learns her name (Beth played by Taylor Schilling) and where she lives. He shows up on her doorstep and takes a job at her family’s kennel. A romance blossoms, giving Logan hope that Beth could be more than just his good luck charm. It also stars Blythe Danner, Adam Lefevre, Jay R. Ferguson and Riley Thomas Stewart and is directed by Scott Hicks (Shine). The Lucky One (not to be confused with The Lucky Ones from 2008 also having to do with returning soldiers (plural this time) and starring Rachel McAdams, who is in that other Nicholas Sparks movie for 2012, The Vow) opens in theaters on April 20.

Rock of Ages tells the story of small town girl Sherrie (Julianne Hough) and city boy Drew (Diego Boneta), who meet on the Sunset Strip while pursuing their Hollywood dreams. Their rock 'n' roll romance is told through the heart-pounding hits of Def Leppard, Joan Jett, Journey, Foreigner, Bon Jovi, Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Poison, Whitesnake and more. It stars Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Malin Akerman, Mary J. Blige, Bryan Cranston, Alec Baldwin and  Tom Cruise as aging rock legend Stacee Jax. Rock of Ages opens on June 1. Russell Brand appears to be playing some variation of himself, but I love Alec Baldwin’s wig.

Bullet To The Head, directed by Walter Hill (The Warriors, 48 Hrs. The Driver), stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Momoa, Christian Slater and Sung Kang  is based on a graphic novel and tells the story of a New Orleans hitman (Stallone) and a New York City cop (Momoa – I think) who form an alliance to bring down the killers of their respective partners. It has an April 13 release date. We showed you the first image last week of Momoa trying to split Stallone like a cord of wood. In this one, Sly has a big gun and is obviously trying to outdo my Hawaiian Volcano in the tatts department.

Russell Brand is a little monkey of a prankster. Apparently he was tweeting his inability to get into Canada from CALIFORNIA! That's right he wasn't even in Canada or anywhere near it for that matter (East coast at least). I thought it was weird, because as I pointed out Vancouver let him in so it seemed odd that each province would let him in at their discretion.

It turns out his plane had mechanical issues and he didn't even get off the ground. Russell Brand needs a spanking for this. I am available for said spanking.

As a Canadian I can't tell you how pissed I am that our customs' officials did not let Russell Brand into Canada last night so he could perform at Casino Rama in Orillia. Poor Russell was a bit frantic tweeting that he was going to be late for his show (that started at 9 and was expected to have 5,000 people in attendance). His final tweet of the night is the one above.

What a shame because a few months back he was allowed into Vancouver but the customs' officials in Toronto must have been pissed to be working Saturday night or something because they wouldn't let him in. It could be because of his drug arrests from a hundred years ago, I don't know but he hardly poses a threat to Canada. All I know is that on behalf of Canada I am sorry Russell Brand. You didn't deserve to be denied entry. I would NEVER deny you entry. Ever.

I had zero intention of watching Rosie O'Donnell's new talk show but now that Russell Brand is going to be the first guest I will be watching at least one episode bitches. 

It seems Rosie's ass is on fire for the British funnyman (she had better step aside) so much so he has replaced Tom Cruise in the infatuation department. Upon meeting him, she told Russell she had been:

 "marinating in him" and called him "genius" at an American Airlines airport lounge. "I became fascinated with him and I Googled everything he ever did and I fell madly in love – I became obsessed," 

Let me say this as pragmatically as I can: hands off biotch. I was obsessed way before you. I have been doing the 'googling' thing for months now.

The Rosie Show airs on October 10 on the Oprah Winfrey Network and that's just 10 days away bitches. Will you be watching? I will be a bit of a horny mess on that day so pay no mind. Oh behave.

Russell Brand was at one of his concerts when an audience member (Will) asked the comedian to marry him and his fiancee, Scarlett. Russell is ordained to perform wedding ceremonies and agreed to do so.

If you were expecting a traditional teary-eyed type of ceremony you don’t know Russell Brand. Although there were elements of wonderful sentiments, there was also a lot of sex-talk. And by sex-talk I mean Russell Brand isn’t getting ‘serviced’ by wife Katy Perry in the same manner as he did prior to their getting married and she cuddles the cats more than him.

This is the part of the post where I usually censor myself because what I really want to say is if I were married to Russell Brand I’d be servicing that dirty boy every freaking day and would consider it an honor (I wonder how many Twitter followers will unfollow me after this post). But I usually censor myself because my mom says I’m a pig and she can’t believe we’re related, so I end up saying something like ‘I didn’t know he could officiate at weddings’.

Alec Baldwin dons his Dennis Dupree outfit on the Rock of Ages film set in Fort Lauderdale, Florida along with other members of the cast. Doesn’t he look kind of hot? Maybe I have a fever or something? I think the hippy look suits him.

Russell Brand had very little dressing up to do in his Lonnie garb. He probably has those outfits in his own closets.

Have you seen the musical Rock of Ages? I really hope the movie does it justice. It was a great musical and the movie has a stellar cast including Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough, Paul Giamatti, Malin Ackerman, Catherine Zeta Jones and more.
