Wow who saw this one coming? Snoop Dogg was arrested in Texas over the weekend for possession of weed in his tour bus thanks to a cracker jack pot-sniffing dog. It's Snoop Dogg. Couldn't the police smell it on their own? I imagine there was a plume of smoke hovering over the bus.

Snoop's bus was stopped in the same town Willie Nelson was busted for weed back in 2010. He was in possession of under an ounce and admitted it was his as he has a prescription for it in California. However Texas don't roll like that bitches. They don't care if you have a prescription or a blessing from Queen Elizabeth. 

He was release after he was issued a citation for misdemeanor drug possession. For $537 Snoop can make this go away unless he challenges it in which case he can see them in court.

Cameron Diaz paid George Lopez a visit on his late night show and the two of them enjoyed a round of golf and some chit chat involving her past.  She and Snoop Dogg went to high school together!  And you know what she said?

“We went to high school together. He was a year older than me … I remember him, he was very tall and skinny, wore lots of ponytails on his head. And I’m pretty sure I bought weed from him.”

So yes.  Snoop looks exactly the same as he did in high school.  I don’t think he’s aged a bit!  They also enjoyed some really good looking, authentic food (above) that is making me really hungry right now.

Snoop’s latest single, ‘Wet‘ is for Prince William and Kate Middleton.  Huh?  I know.  I don’t get it either.  I love Snoop Dogg, but he seems like the furthest thing from “proper.”  I want to see Snoop sipping some tea and eating a crumpet.

Adam Lambert, Paula Abdul and Snoop Dogg are at the Beverly Hills Hotel to announce the nominations for the November 22nd American Music Awards.

Taylor Swift, Michael Jackson and Eminem lead the nomination with 6, 5 and 4 nominations respectively.   Taylor is nominated in the same category as Beyonce for Favourite Female Artist.  Call me Kreskin, but methinks Kanye isn’t going to be invited to this ceremony.   The winners are determined by online voting and you can choose your favourites here.

Some of the performers announced are Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez, Alicia Keys, and Adam Lambert.  Adam will be debuting material from his new album.

David and Victoria Beckham look sexy hot together as they attend the launch of Adidas Originals by Originals Line, designed by James Bond at the Adidas store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.

Making her post-baby debut is Ellen Pompeo and husband Chris Ivery who told People she ‘feels great’ and that everything is ‘fantastic’ at home.  She looks incredible!!! She gave birth 2 short weeks ago!

A huge fan favourite, Snoop Dogg was on hand to reveal his waxed likeness at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas.  According to a spokeswoman:

“He was on high demand at our museums. When we asked guests who they wanted to see next, Snoop was at the top of the list”

There are also rumours that Snoop Dogg is in talks to host this year’s MTV MOBO awards which will take place in Scotland.  A source says:

“It would be a huge coup to get Snoop. He’s such a crowd pleaser and was a great host of the MTV Awards in Munich.” 

I still think looking at yourself as a wax figure must be kind of creepy, no?
