It’s another celebrity wedding!  Former Spice Girl, Baby Spice is getting hitched.  Emma Bunton is officially engaged to her beau of about 10 years, Jade Jones.

She shared the news with fans via her Twitter page,

“Yahooooo I’m Engaged!   Love you Jade! I’m a very happy lady!”

The very happy, cute couple have a little boy, who is now 3, Beau and they are having another baby in May.  I wonder if the wedding will happen before or after the new baby arrives?

Congrats to the happy, growing family!

Geri Halliwell has finally convinced the genius behind the Mama Mia adaptation, Judy Craymer to do a Spice Girls Musical. After much hounding Judy says:

“I’d always said, “No, no, I’m too busy,’  ‘But it just hit me that it could be a great idea. It’s not just what they were, but what they’ve become. It’s about the impact they’ve had on social popular culture”

Apparently Geri is working with former Spice Girl manager Simon Fuller (sound familiar?) and Universal Music to create the show.  So far it’s tentatively named Viva Forever, after one of the group’s hits, but that isn’t written in stone.

Judy has met with Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton (she hasn’t met with Melanie Brown yet) and tells the British newspaper The Daily Mail:

“There’s a sisterhood feel about them,” “It will be fictionalised, but you would feel you were getting the sense of a story, about a group of women, that you knew was very much related to the music. And it would all be their music, like Who Do You Think You Are, Wannabe, The Lady Is A Vamp and Mama – but the show has to be written first, before the songs can be incorporated”

They are hopeful that the show hits the London stage within two to three years.

Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton & Geri Halliwell got together for a girl’s night out at the Palm Restaurant in London, England.

No sign of Victoria Beckham.  I wonder if she was at home shagging David Beckham?  I know you’re wondering the same thing.  I ask those questions others are afraid to. 

These ladies look like they know how to have a good time.  I wish I was a Spice Girl.

Mel C blogged about the good news confirming her pregnancy:

“I can now announce that Tom and I are expecting a baby and we are very happy.”

She has been dating the property developer for 6 years.  She’ll be taking it easy and then be getting back to things.

How do her fellow Spice Girls feel?  According to a source:

“The girls are so pleased for her and have said they’re only a phone call away to pass on any parenting tips!”
