Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino seems to have let himself go a bit judging from these pictures of him and his little belly. Don’t get me wrong, he’s still probably in better shape than most of us reading this (and I don`t mean any offense by that), but by his standards, he’s obese.

It is most unusual that The Situation isn’t the shirtless one in these pictures showing off his abs. Mommy’s not complaining. The dude beside him is pretty nice eye-candy with the exception of his ridiculous-looking hair.

To be truthful I kind of feel sorry for him. Isn’t he going through a lot with his douchebag of a father? Was it the trip to Italy? Maybe a bit of both?

Some people eat too much when they are stressed. Others (like myself) just love to eat no matter what.

Either way, The Situation looks ‘normal’ but not Jersey Shore normal. There is no ‘situation’ going on here.

The Situation

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino isn’t on the best of terms with his father, Frank Sorrentino and this has all been going public for the last couple of days.  Frank been venting on his site and is now ready to let loose completely in a tell all book.

Jersey Shore Italy Gets Delayed, Panic!

“I’m calling Mike on his s–t,” Frank writes. “I covered for Mike his entire life and when I needed his help he left me hanging.”

Frank says that is will include “hardcore partying, drugs, sex, crime elements, you name it.”

Frank’s agent, Robert Fletcher is planning to have the book deal done for six figures and have it released during the production of the new season of Jersey Shore in Italy.

The Situation is super pissed, but of course lets his rep speak for him:

“Mike is extremely saddened by his estranged father’s actions.  The Sorrentino family, Marc, Frank Jr., Melissa and their mother, Linda, remain united with Mike under these hurtful circumstances.”

I thought the  world wasn’t supposed to come to a screeching halt until the end of 2012? It has been confirmed that Jersey Shore’s Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino has reached a development deal with MTV to star in his own spin-off from Jersey Shore: ‘The Situation: The Series”.

The pilot for the show will be shot later this year after filming of season 4 of Jersey Shore has been wrapped up. Both Paul D and Snooki also have their own series coming up. The news just keeps getting better and better doesn’t it?

He talked to E! about his big plans,

“Hopefully by the end of the year, I’ll be in a movie.  There’s only so long you can rule the reality world.  Maybe another year or so of reality, and then I’m gonna graduate to movies.  It’s like Michael Jordan. There’s only so long you can keep winning them rings.”

Okay, but do the movies want you?  Yes, actually.  I can see Mike in certain types of movies.  Not the kind you will see nominated for anything beyond a Razzie.  But, yeah…. Sitch could definitely be in some flicks in the not too far off future.

Attempting to be cute, the girl brushed Mike’s hair with her hand, which resulted in an epic freak-out from the Sitch. We watched as he gave her the death stare and said, “Yo, don’t touch my hair!” The consequences for her coif encounter? A boot from the VIP area.
