When I hear the name Ann Taylor, I think of beautiful clothes and my mother in law.  Now I will be thinking of Katie Holmes as well.  Mrs. Cruise is now the face of the high end women’s workwear brand and she looks like she fits the bill perfectly.

Gwyneth Paltrow visited the Rachel Ray show and dished on her favourite kisser on film was:

“I did a little cameo once at the beginning of Austin Powers 3, I think it was, and I got to make out with Tom Cruise,” Paltrow, 38, tells the host on Friday’s Rachel Ray Show. “He was an amazing kisser!“

And she’s also locked lips (and maybe tongues) with Jude Law and Brad Pitt on film, so that says a lot. I don’t picture Brad Pitt to be a good kisser, but I picture Jude Law to be. Actually I picture Jude Law to be quite the lover. Like a dirty, dirty boy. Isn’t there a sex video of him somewhere on this earth? I bet that would be hot. However for Tombo to be a better kisser than Jude is most impressive.

Gwynnie enjoyed getting into character in her new film Country Song in which she plays an alcoholic singer:

You just get really drunk all the time,” she says. “Which is awesome! At least I did anyway, it’s not very professional. There’s a Bloody Mary at 10 a.m. and keep it going all day!”

That’s kind of like blogging but without having to shower so as to be presentable. And according to Gwynnie it’s quite the departure from her everyday waking life:

“It was actually very liberating and amazing to play somebody who just didn’t think about consequences because I’m so responsible with my life, and too worried about everybody and my kids and where’s everybody going,”

Regular consumption of alcohol cures that. If this biotch goes on a concert tour I’m going to start consuming mass quantities of alcohol.

Yesterday, David Arquette was on Howard Stern’s show, again and this time he sounded like he needed to be medicated.  This split from Courteney Cox is really starting to take a toll on the guy.  He’s seeing a therapist weekly, but I don’t think it’s helping. Thanks to completely embarrassing himself at a Christmas party by calling Tom Cruise, Sean… he’s quitting drinking.  (Yeah right!)

All of that was kind of “normal” for someone in his shoes.  But what blew me away was the way he was talking about his ex, Drew Barrymore,

“I know she is with Justin Long and everything, but would cool would an Arquette-Barrymore child be?” he said. “From a pure breeding standpoint.”

Who says that stuff?!  He has to be insane.  I think that Drew better get some tighter security for awhile, at least until David gets his head on straight.  This guy is falling to pieces. Wow.

Last night was a pretty hilarious episode of Saturday Night Live.  Anne Hathaway hosted and Florence and the Machine were the musical guests.

I am all giddy on Anne right now.  Perhaps it’s those naked Entertainment Weekly covers with Jake Gyllenhaal that have me all amped up.  Have you seen them? Yum.  Just yum.

Anyhow, Anne did a skit where she was impersonating Katie Holmes as she was being interviewed by “Miley Cyrus” and OMG, she was fantastic.  I have never seen anyone look more like Katie than Katie herself!  Sadly, I think that if Mrs. Cruise was allowed to watch the show last night, she might now suffer from a serious complex.

Whether you want to admit it or not Tom Cruise has still got it. Worshipping spaceships aside, he is a really nice guy and you know he would be a great husband. Plus he’s not bad on the eyes at all.

The fact that he and his wife Katie Holmes allow daughter Suri to be their stylist is a little on the freaky side but hey whatever works, right? I’m just waiting for the day they make the formal announcement that she is their publicist/manager. You know it’s coming. And probably before her 16th birthday. Mommy and Daddy are going to totally be her bitches.

Here Tombo is on the set of Mission Impossible IV in Prague, Czech Republic. The expected release date is December 16, 2011 and will also star Jeremy Renner. Other stars rumoured to be signing on:  Maggie Q, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Simon Pegg.

Katie Holmes appears on the September issue of New York Magazine striking the famous Jackie Kennedy pose and looking quite gorgeous while doing so!  Katie plays the former First Lady in an upcoming History Channel mini-series, The Kennedys.

Katie gave an interview to the magazine where she talks fashion, Tom Cruise and the fact that they are letting Suri run the household (he he he):

You put your collection together with your stylist, Jeanne Yang. How did you get into designing?
I started making clothes for Suri when she was born, designing dresses, and then having seamstresses sew them, because I don’t sew very well. As a child, I was always drawing clothes, and I’ve always loved fabrics, and when Suri was born, I wanted to have certain things be from me and created just by me for her. And so that kind of got me into it, and then one day, Jeanne and I were getting ready for something and we thought, men have such beautiful tailored shirts, they have such a uniform, and we thought it would be nice to make things that are simple that you can have forever.

Were you always into fashion?
I always loved clothes growing up. My mother had a drapery business. And now, part of being in this business is that you’re around really nice clothes. You do these photo shoots, you get exposed to Hermès and Chloé and Armani, and you start to feel the difference.

Is Suri into clothes, too?
I grew up the youngest of five, so there were a lot of hand-me-downs that I would sort of change up. And Suri and I do that now with her clothes. Or rather, she does it. She says, “I want this sleeve cut,” and it’s like, “Okay, we’ll cut it.” She picks out all of her own clothes and has since she was 1½. Tom and I went to the Met ball a couple of years ago, and I had this beautiful red gown and these royal-blue shoes that I wasn’t planning on wearing, but Suri made me put them on and so I was like, “Okay, I trust you.”

My dogs usually bark once for ‘yeah go with that’ and twice for ‘have you lost your mind’.  Um, okay I think it’s fabulous they encourage their child’s creativity and give her the confidence to make her own choices and all, but letting a toddler dress me doesn’t make sense to me.

She’s often with you on set, right?
Her first set was Lions for Lambs, when she was 9 months old, and now she’s 4 and she’s so creative and she’s so bright and so special. Whatever she wants to do, I know she’s going to be amazing at it. I’ve already started my applause, and I will be applauding for the rest of my life.

You’re playing Jackie Kennedy now. Do you think about your experience in the public eye while doing the role?
I’m just focused on creating a character as much as possible without knowing what was going on behind closed doors. In my own life, it’s just something that’s there. We luckily have security so I can focus on motherhood and work and other things.

Is it complicated balancing your schedule with Tom’s?
We have quite a schedule, you know? We don’t say, “When I’m working, you don’t work,” or anything like that. Last year he was shootingKnight and Day and I was shooting The Romantics, and we’d just fly to see each other after we wrapped. And we homeschool Suri—she has a teacher who is with her every day. We like the one-on-one education. I’m happy that my daughter is strong-willed and determined. You really have to go with what the child is wanting.

Would you and Tom ever work together?

Well, we do collaborate on everything at home. But I mean, he’s Tom Cruise! His body of work is incredible. Every movie he’s done has done really well. I look back, and everything’s a classic. I definitely come home and say to him, “So, imagine a scene … how would you play it?” And he’s helpful and sweet and gracious. He’s quite an incredible human being.

I can totally see Tombo being sweet and gracious.  Whether you think he’s a few fries shy of a Happy Meal or not, you have to admit he’s a nice guy.

Do you read the various speculations about your marriage?

It’s there, it’s one of those things. My big concern is what does he have going, what do I have going, what are we going to do this weekend. It must seem weird, I guess, having so many people watching. It is weird. I get it. But you just, you know, smile and nod.

Smile and nod like a Stepford wife or someone who has passed their programming with flying colours!

Cameron says that she loved working with Tom again:

“We always knew we had an amazing chemistry. We bounced off each other in ‘Vanilla Sky’ and that was 10 years ago. It’s crazy to think about.

“We have a great rapport, and I feel really safe with him. That’s a really big thing for actors – he took such good care of me in that movie!”

Say what you will about Tombo and his craziness, he’s one of the nicest guys and in a genuine way it seems.  I would totally take a ride on his spaceship shuttle.

And if you are wondering why Cameron is glowing, it’s because of her sex life (as she has mentioned recently). She talks about the conceptions of love:

“I think the big misconception in our society is that we’re supposed to meet the one when we’re 18 and we’re supposed to get married to them and love them for the rest of our lives. Bulls**t.”

“Who would want to be with the same person for 80 years? Why not break it up a little bit? I think people get freaked out about getting married and spending 20 or 30 years sleeping with the same person but if that’s the case, don’t do it.

“Have someone for five years and another person for another five years. Life is long and lucky and yes, love might last forever, but you don’t always live with the person you love forever.”

It’s good she feels that way given she’s with A-Rod.  :D

Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz took their world premiere of Knight and Day to Spain where Tom was joined by his very proud wife Katie Holmes.

After his Les Grossman dance skit on the MTV Movie Awards with Jennifer Lopez, the rumours are swirling that these two will be on next season’s Dancing With The Stars.  Bitch please.  That is not going to happen.  Not that I have the ‘in’ on it, but I’m sure they are kind of busy with their careers.  Jennifer Lopez confirmed this on Larry King Live:

“I think we’re both kind of busy to go on Dancing With The Stars. He’s (got), I’m sure, 25 movies lined up, and I’m planning a tour for next year, so I don’t know.”

However maybe I will be eating my words because apparently producers are courting big stars.  Doesn’t mean they will get them, does it?
