NEW UK Trailer for Woman in Black with Daniel Radcliffe!

NEW UK Trailer for Woman in Black with Daniel Radcliffe!

It's been a couple of months since we showed you the first US trailer for James Watkins' Woman in Black starring Daniel Radcliffe as Arthur Kipps who is ordered to travel to a remote village and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in the client’s isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover tragic secrets, his unease growing when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black. Receiving only silence from the locals, Kipps is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own, leading to a desperate race against time when he discovers her true intent.

The US version, while it employed the usual ghost story parlor tricks was still all kinds of creepy! This is the UK version, just out today, and it seems a little less "flashy", but the good news is that it has our first good look at some of Dan's costars, namely Ciaran Hinds!

Woman in Black has a screenplay by Jane Goldman of StardustKick-Ass and X-Men: First Class fame so right there, I'm thinking it's going to be a cut above your standard spook fest. The film haunts theaters in the US beginning February 3 and in the UK on 10 February.

Full Frightening Trailer for The Devil Inside!

Creepy Clip and Poster for The Devil Inside!

The other day we brought you an audio clip and a first poster for William Brent Bell's The Devil Inside. Well now we have the first full trailer, so now we can see the creepy! Again, the movie doesn't come out until January (which could be seen as a bad sign and a missed opportunity) but this is certainly a good tease and just in time for Halloween! It doesn't exactly blaze any new trails in the horror genre, but that doesn't mean it won't keep you up at night. It's kind of like an updated version of The Exorcist. By that I mean there is more science and technology, although it still retains a very "low-tech" feel.  It will probably give goose bumps to even the most jaded among us. (Raises hand) Don't watch with the lights off.

Synopsis: In Italy, a woman becomes involved in a series of unauthorized exorcisms during her mission to discover what happened to her mother, who allegedly murdered three people during her own exorcism.  Holy crap!

Written and directed by William Brent Bell (2006's Stay Alive), The Devil Inside stars no one you've ever heard of (all the better to scare the bejeebus out of you – literally!) and opens January 6 in the US and 3 February in the UK.

Action Packed Trailer #2 for The Adventures of Tintin + 2 New Posters!

Action Packed Trailer #2 for The Adventures of Tintin + 2 New Posters!

There's certainly been a lot of new material dropped in the past few days for Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson's The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn! It could be because, despite the ultra high profile names associated with this film, few Americans have a clue as to who Tintin is or that this movie is based on an 82 year old comic strip. It could just be that they are proud of their product and can't wait to show it off. Hmmm…perhaps a little of both?

In any case, this is certainly one exciting trailer. It gives us a clearer idea of who the characters are and even hints at what the "Secret of the Unicorn" could actually be. Steven Spielberg had wanted to make a live action version of the comic, but he and Jackson decided he wouldn't be able to do justice to Snowy, Tintin's dog so they went with CGI and motion capture. From everything I've seen and read, Snowy may actually turn out to be the star of the show. Enjoy the trailer. The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn opens 26 October in the UK and December 21 in the US.

Let’s Talk About the New Trailer for We Need to Talk About Kevin!

Let's Talk About the New Trailer for We Need to Talk About Kevin!

There's a new version of the trailer for Lynne Ramsey's We Need to Talk About Kevin online. The brilliant Tilda Swinton and John C. Reilly star as the parents of a teenage old boy (Ezra Miller who is getting rave reviews) who goes on a high-school killing spree and must try to deal with their grief and feelings of responsibility for their child's actions.
Based on the award winning novel of the same name by Lionel Shriver, We Need to Talk About Kevin marks the Scottish Ramsey's first feature film since 2002's critically acclaimed Morvern Callar.

Official synopsis: Eva (Swinton) puts her ambitions and career aside to give birth to Kevin. The relationship between mother and son is difficult from the very first years. When Kevin is 15 , he does something irrational and unforgivable in the eyes of the entire community. Eva grapples with her own feelings of grief and responsibility. Did she ever love her son? And how much of what Kevin did was her fault?

Like the first one, I love this trailer. Usually the music used gives us cues as to what the mood and tone are of what we're about to see. If that were true here, coupled with the expression on Swinton's face for the first half of it, I'd think this was a comedy of sorts. The mood and tone shift about half-way through and we know we're dealing with something much darker, but it doesn't tell you how to feel about it.

We Need to Talk About Kevin  wowed at Cannes and at the Toronto International Film Festival. In fact, name a festival, it probably screened there. It opens in the UK on 21 October, followed by a limited (grrrrrr) US release on December 2.

NKOTB's Jordan Knight Karaoke's at Blissdom Canada To His OWN Songs (VIDEO)

NKOTB's Jordan Knight surprised the ladies of the Blissdom Canada conference by appearing at the closing night party, a Halloween type party, to sing karaoke with the surprised and VERY delighted ladies. He sang to his own songs Step By Step and Hangin’ Tough.

Can you imagine? You attend a social media conference that is for women by women and the last person you would expect to be there would be Jordan Knight! What a great sport he is to be among all that estrogen! The ladies certainly enjoyed him and it looks like he was having a blast too.

Canada loves Jordan Knight! he has 2 Top 40 hits in Canada from his Unfinished album. Let’s Go Higher and now, One More Night!

Shia LaBeouf Gets His Ass Kicked in Vancouver (VIDEO)

Shia LaBeouf Gets His Ass Kicked in Vancouver (VIDEO)

Shia LaBeouf is in Vancouver filming 'The Company You Keep' and has been a regular at a bar called the Cinema Public House according to a rep for the bar.

TMZ has the footage of Shia getting into a fight on the street outside the bar by some angry dude who ripped his shirt and had Shia on the ground. Apparently the two got into it in the bar and were told to leave by security.

When Shia tries to go after the guy (I guess he wanted his ass kicked a little more), a friend (or two) holds him back and one of them can be heard saying 'You gotta lay low right now'.

The person filming all of this then went inside the bar where he continued filming this friend talking to Shia and looking like he was just giving Shia proper sh*t.

Shia LaBeouf is no stranger to this type of thing. Back in August he was alleged to have spit water on Marilyn Manson and his own girlfriend at an event. Shia has anger issues and maybe it's fueled by alcohol, I don't know. The dude needs to turn to yoga or something.

Toward the end of the video some guy from Vancouver wants to give Shia a hug. It's too funny. I'm sure Shia was totally in the mood to hug it up.

Britney Spears’ New Video ‘Criminal’ Featuring Boyfriend Jason Trawick

Britney Spears' Video 'Criminal' Featuring Boyfriend Jason Trawick

Britney Spears' video for her latest 'Criminal' was released and it's kind of mesmirizing. It features boyfriend Jason Trawick who comes to her rescue only for her to find he's a criminal and she uses his gun to commit a robbery.

The beginning of the video has her at a very posh society affair where the bag de la douche that she is with beats on her and that's where Jason steps in and beats the dude.

I wonder if this is a taste of perhaps a new career for Jason? Watch and tell us what you think of Criminal!

New Trailer for George Clooney in The Descendants!

New Clip from The Descendants!

If Alexander Payne's The Descendants is as good as it's purported to be, a mixture of humor and pathos that is the director's stock in trade then I'm calling it right now, it will be down to the wire between this and The Artist come Sunday February 26.

Granted, I'm making this bold assertion on the basis of a couple of trailers and a handful of clips from both movies. I have yet to see the full length version of either one and lord knows it's possible that the best bits are in the trailers. There are, however, a lot of people who have seen both films, since they've both been traveling the festival circuit for the past few months.  I'm a fan of Payne's films (ElectionAbout SchmidtSideways) and I have high hopes for The Descendants, plus who doesn't love George Clooney? He plays Matt King, an indifferent husband and father who has to reconnect with his two daughters after his wife suffers a tragic accident. At the same time he has to decide whether or not to sell his family's land that had been handed down from Hawaiian royalty and missionaries. I can't wait to see it when it opens November 18 in the US (although not until 27 January in the UK)
