It’s time for another super exciting posters post! First up, Men in Black III which stars Will Smith as J and Tommy Lee Jones as K with Josh Brolin along for the ride as a younger version of same.
We’ve seen some pretty impressive stuff from the the Barry Sonnenfeld directed threequel, including the superfantastic futuristic-but-used-in-the-psychedelic-60’s flying unicycles that are pictured on this brand new poster.
In the third installment of the series Agents J (Smith) and K (Jones) are back… in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K’s life and the fate of the planet are put at stake,Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discoversthat there are secrets to the universe that K never told him — secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Brolin) to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.
Men in Black III opens May 25 in the US, Canada and the UK.

Next up, a new poster for The Words, the film we told you about back in January with Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, Jeremy Irons and Olivia Wilde.
The Words revolves around Rory (Cooper), a struggling writer who claims another man’s long lost work as his own. Caught up in a dangerous conspiracy, the price he must pay is more than he could have ever imagined.
The trouble starts when Dora, Rory’s wife (Saldana) comes across “a valise” in an antiques shop. The valise contains a “lost masterwork” of a “Hemingway-esque writer” played by Jeremy Irons.
The Words is both written and directed by Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal. The supporting cast includes Ben Barnes, John Hannah, J.K. Simmons, Michael McKean, Zeljko Ivanek and Ron Rifkin. We now have a US release date of September 21. Still no word on the UK.

After we brought you thirteen new character posters the other day, here’s a new one-sheet for Simon West’s The Expendables 2 with Sylvester Stallone front and center. I’ve seen the trailer twice this weekend on the big screen. This one will be just as much fun as the first!
The Expendables are back and this time it’s personal… Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren),Toll Road (Randy Couture) and Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) — with newest members Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth) and Maggie (Yu Nan) aboard — are reunited when Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) enlists the Expendables to take on a seemingly simple job. The task looks like an easy paycheck for Barney and his band of old-school mercenaries. But when things go wrong and one of their own is viciously killed, the Expendables are compelled to seek revenge in hostile territory where the odds are stacked against them. Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time — six pounds of weapons-grade plutonium; enough to change the balance of power in the world. But that’s nothing compared to the justice they serve against the villainous adversary who savagely murdered their brother. That is done the Expendables way….
The Expendables 2 opens August 17 in the US and the UK.

Here’s a first poster for House at the End of the Street with Jennifer Lawrence and Elisabeth Shue. The doesn’t do much except make sure you know that Jennifer Lawrence is in the movie. I saw this trailer on the big screen this weekend as well. Still not impressed.
Newly divorced Sarah and her daughter Elissa find the house of their dreams in a small, upscale, rural town. But when startling and unexplainable events begin to happen, Sarah and Elissa learn the town is in the shadows of a chilling secret. They find themselves living next door to a house where a young girl murdered her parents…
House At The End Of The Street starring Lawrence, Shue, Max Thieriot (Chloe,My Soul to Take) and Gil Bellows, moves into theaters September 21.

And finally, we have an international poster for Rock of Ages with Tom Cruise as ‘rock God’ Stacee Jaxx. All of the other characters are present and accounted for as well. Personally, I think Alec Baldwin alone will be worth the price of a ticket.
Directed by Adam Shankman (Hairspray) and based on the Tony Award nominated Broadway musical, Rock of Ages is set in 1987and follows a fresh off the bus sweet-young-thing who comes to LA with stars in her eyes and big '80s hair (Julianne Hough). There, she meets a nice guy with ambitions of his own (Diego Boneta). When they meet, it's love at first sight, though their romance will face a series of challenges as they are seduced by the sex-drugs and rocknroll way of life personified by superstar Stacee Jaxx (Cruise), who meanwhile is falling for music journalist Malin Akerman.
The cast features Baldwin, Paul Giamatti, Russell Brand, Mary J. Blige and Catherine Zeta Jones. It also features Will Forte, Bryan Cranston and Constantine Maroulis. Rock of Ages opens June 15 in the Us and the UK.
