But yeah, don’t get too excited.  They aren’t that serious yet.  But for them, a new step is a STEP.  Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez had dinner with Cameron’s mom, Billie Diaz at The Lion in New York City on April 6.  They pretty much shut down the place having a meal, drinks, and lots of laughs.

So far there has been no sign of bling on her ring finger and the house hunting they were caught doing hasn’t turned into anything.  Perhaps they are going to be like Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.  No need for the traditional wedding… just partners for life?  If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it kind of thinking?

At last night’s Super Bowl one of the highlights was (unfortunately) when the camera panned to Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz in their luxury sky box just as she was feeding him some popcorn. Literally feeding him. Hand to mouth. Like his mommy.

I’m all for feeding one another in a sexy way with a ‘knowing’ look exchanged like it’s symbolic of how you are going to devour one another behind closed doors. Throw in some seductive finger sucking and it gives a whole new meaning to a happy meal.

But this wasn’t like that. At all. It was kind of motherly looking to me. Judging from these photos perhaps there was a bit of that look on Cameron’s face, but A-Rod didn’t even look at her. Like a baby bird he instinctually opened his mouth as momma bird dropped food in it. Mechanical. So not sexy at all.

I was completely grossed out by this display of food feeding. I know you were too. A-Rod came off looking like a very big man-baby.

They didn’t even last a year.  Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez aka A-Rod have split. This really isn’t surprising since we all know what a playboy A-Rod really is.  He can’t stand to be in committed relationships and Cameron is just a manstick addict.

Plus, we already had our suspicions about this breakup when we saw Cameron out with Matthew Morrison from Glee.  One source confirmed the news rather harshly,

“Cameron and A-Rod are no longer dating and have definitely parted ways.  He just doesn’t like her anymore. That’s honestly the reason they split.”

Yes, sadly that sounds 100% accurate.  A-Rod needed a fresh piece of meat and Cameron had to go.  So does anyone have any side bets as to who A-Rod will land next?  And will Cameron and Matthew get serious?

It's rumor time.  Let's have a dose of relationship gossip before the lunch rush.  Cameron Diaz and Glee star, Matthew Morrison were spotted out at West Hollywood club Bardot on Saturday night with friends.  Later on, they were seen driving away together.

Most sources are saying that it's just a simple friendship, but that's how these Hollywood flings always get started….in the "just friends" category.  Friends with benefits is more like it.  We all know how much Cameron loves her manstick.  She's not one Hollywood dame I see settling down anytime soon.  Cameron Diaz is a player, and I mean that in a very loving way.

So any side bets?  Will Cameron Diaz and Matthew Morrison come out as a couple in the near future or will they keep some bedroom romps under the covers?  And for the record, I'd much rather see Diaz with Morrison than A-Rod.

According to a knowledgable real estate source for PageSix, A-Rod and Madonna have been quietly shopping for their own love nest:

“Madonna personally came to look at one house a couple of months ago, and Alex has been looking recently,” the insider said. “We’re talking about private, double-width mansions in the vicinity of $30 million to $60 million.”

They are hoping that the house comes:

“with a garage that you can drive into for additional privacy – although those are rare and hard to come by,”

A-Rod’s reps said they weren’t looking and Madonna’s reps did not respond to PageSix.

Further fueling the non-confirmed relationship between Alex Rodriguez and Madonna, A-Rod had a front seat at her Sweet & Sticky concert in Miami last night where she sang ‘You Must Love Me’ to him.  Of course they are just friends.  I always sing that song to all my friends.

She also accepted a bottle of water from him as he sat beside her manager Guy Oseary and Rod Stewart.  According to an eyewitness:

“It was easy for him to hand it off because he was sitting in the front row. He was all excited watching her perform.”

My friends are very excited when I sing to them too, but they never provide me with beverages to quench my thirst.
