The stars came out large to pay homage to the late King Of Pop, Michael Jackson at the Los Angeles premiere of ‘This Is It’.   Michael’s brother Jermaine Jackson represented the Jackson family at the premiere.

The movie follows Michael Jackson’s preparation for his 50-date London tour and was taken from 100 hours of behind-the-scenes clips shot in Los Angeles and showed a multi-million pound spectacular featuring pyrotechnics, complex dance routines and elaborate stage sets.

As part of their summer concert series, American Idol’s David Cook, Adam Lambert and Kris Allen perform Little Lies, and they do it great!  Love all of their voices, but something about David’s that I really love!!  I wonder what they all think of Paula Abdul’s departure?

  This is so very sad.  American Idol’s David Cook’s brother has lost his decade long battle with cancer.  Adam Cook, 37, died Saturday morning.  Sunday morning, David Cook, who was serving as grand marshall and running the race told the audience at 12th annual Race for Hope 5K in Washington, D.C (video footage above):

“I actually lost my brother yesterday to a brain tumor and I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else right now,”

During his competition on American Idol, Adam sat front row in April, 2008 during one of David’s performances.  At the time the married father was going through chemotherapy treatments.

In March of this year, David Cook cancelled two shows to spend more time with his brothers.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to family and friends.

David Cook took to his MySpace page to thank his fans for their support and address some kind of crazy that is ‘following’ him.  Call me crazy (no, oddly enough I’m not the one he’s talking to) but I think stalkers like attention…especially if it’s coming from their ‘intended’.  I’m just saying….

ATTENTION!

Hey everyone,
First off, I want to say thank you to everyone who has been coming out to the shows since my last post. The vibe at these shows has been amazing.

Secondly, I have to address some behavior that has become disturbing. We pride ourselves on being accessible to you as fans, but in contrast, we do enjoy what little privacy we can muster. To that end, the efforts by some fans to find our hotel rooms, call our hotel rooms, attach things to our bus, etc., is something I have to condemn. This relationship only works when it remains healthy for both parties, and should this behavior continue, the only thing we can do is take more preventative measures to maintain our privacy, which in turn makes us less accessible to you.

I hope this doesn’t come off as harsh. I merely want to nip this in the bud so we can continue to have a great experience with all of you at the shows we have coming up. Take care and see you at the next show.

The recently single David Cook is seen signing autographs at the stage door at the Jimmy Kimmel studios. 

According to a source over at US Weekly, the reason for the split was David felt:

“He has a lot of options and wants to explore them,” the pal tells Us. “He doesn’t want to be tied down.”

Another source said the couple, whose relationship was described as ‘just sort of dissolved’ didn’t want to make a big deal out of the break.
