Hail to the blonde hottie of Dancing With The Stars’ Derek Hough! It is SO good to have him back this season. Can’t wait to see his moves and silly antics. He’s paired up with Ricki Lake who is also pictured at rehearsals.

However according to oddsmakers it is Elisabetta Canalis who is favored to win Season 13 of Dancing With The Stars  which is interesting given no one has seen her dance! Do you see the abs and ass on that girl? Her body really is perfection. Bitch. Does she speak any English?  She’s paired up with Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s brother Val. It will be interesting to see if there is any chemistry there.

Lacey Schwimmer is rocking some very serious, very sexy curves at rehearsals. She’s paired up with Chaz Bono who has handled the backlash with grace and class. I hope he does great and if truth be told I’m really hoping to see his mom Cher in the audience.

Season 13 of Dancing With The Stars premieres on Monday, September 19 at 8/7c.

Some of the Dancing With The Stars’ professionals (and celebrities of DWTS’ past) hit Malibu beach for some fun in the sun together while Maksim Chmerkovskiy opted for some quality alone time.

Derek Hough, Tony Dovolani, Lacey Schwimmer, Anna Trebunskaya, Cheryl Burke, Jennifer Grey, Gilles Marini and Melissa Rycroft look to be having a blast at Malibu beach yesterday.

Soon enough we’ll be seeing these fabulous people back in their dancing shoes when Season 13 of Dancing With The Stars kicks off on September 19. On Monday (during Bachelor Pad) we will learn which celebrities are confirmed for the show.

Season 13 of Dancing With The Stars may not be a complete loss after all! Derek Hough has confirmed that he will be back for Season 13!

The blonde hottie took a break from the last season of Dancing With The Stars so that he could concentrate on a new film role in the independent dance movie Cobu 3D and he’s ready to come back:

“When we’re doing the show we’re in the bubble and we get into the stress and the drama and all of the behind the scenes stuff,” Hough says. “It was good for me to take a season off and see what the audience sees. It gave me a new boost and inspiration to want to do some great things.”

But that doesn’t mean he is done with movie-making. It gave him the opportunity to:

“push myself and introduce me to a career I’d love to do more. It was a fantastic experience.”

I, for one, am ecstatic that Derek Hough will be back on Dancing With The Stars. He’s not only the consummate professional he has a fabulous sense of humor and is just a joy to watch.

Did Derek Hough Dump Cheryl Cole Two Weeks Before X-Factor Did? That’s the rumour. Poor girl if it’s true.

Although the ‘alleged’ romance between Dancing With The Stars’ Derek Hough and Cheryl Cole has never been confirmed, there have been numerous sightings of the two in both the U.S. and England.

The latest is that two weeks before X-Factor dumped Cheryl Cole’s ass because of her difficult-to-understand accent, Derek Hough dumped her because he couldn’t handle her hermit-like ways and apparently told a friend:

“I love that girl with all my heart, but I just can’t do it any more. I have done everything I can to pick Cheryl up. But every time I am with her she refuses to leave her room for days and days.

“It’s not healthy behaviour and doesn’t make for a healthy relationship. It’s tough but I have to leave Cheryl and get on with my life.”

While I realize that I have a celebrity gossip site, I really don’t believe half the crap I read. This is one of those times. Perhaps the distance thing and their careers made it impossible to have a relationship (assuming they actually were in one together) but this seems a bit far-fetched. Maybe it’s true, who knows?

Could this possibly be Dancing With The Stars’ sexy Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s last season? Well it seems so. This season has taken it’s toll on all the dancers and Chmerkovskiy is no exception. He and his partner Kirstie Alley are in the final three and tonight we will know their fate.

When asked if he was going to be back in September for the next season he responded:

“I don’t know,” he shared. “It takes a lot out of you. When you invest that much of you into something that’s supposed to be just work you [can] get misinterpreted. I don’t know [if I'm coming back]. We’ll see. Right now, I’m drained.”

The ‘misinterpreted’ part of the sentence doesn’t make sense. Perhaps it’s the exhaustion talking? Or perhaps it’s the lure of the silver screen (or TV screen) like Julianne Hough and Derek Hough before him? It seems his partner Kirstie Alley believes he’s got what it takes to act:

“He’s got good qualities,” she said. “He’s handsome, he’s got a good voice and he’s funny. He’s got other qualities … he’s broody, he’s deep. All the bad boy actors are like that. He could be a really great actor if he wanted to act.”

I can see that. Can you? I picture a role on Hawaii Five-O or something like that. It seems perfectly Maks! But is that what Maks wants?:

“I have a great team of people behind me,” he said. “They know how to make me do the right thing. It’s going to be up to them.”

Even if he does foray into acting, dancing will always be a part of his life. In addition to dance studios in Ridgefield, NJ, Manhattan, NY and Long Island, NY he and his partners are opening another Dance With Me Studio in Los Angeles.

He’s also going to be making family time a priority:

“I haven’t seen my home since August,” he said. “I want to make sure I do stuff for me because it seems to me that I do a lot of things for others.”

I can’t imagine what Dancing With The Stars would be like if Maksim Chmerkovskiy didn’t come back for Season 13. I still miss Julianne Hough and now this season her brother Derek Hough is gone. Something tells me he won’t be back either.

Julianne Hough graces the cover of the May issue of Women’s Health magazine where she rocks some Daisy Dukes and dishes about her days at Dancing With The Stars, including who her favourite partner was during her time with the hit ABC show as well as if she is ready for children or not!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I really wish that Julianne would return to Dancing With The Stars, but I really don’t think that is happening any time soon.

Julianne on her favorite “Dancing with the Stars” partner of all time…

“I hope my partners don’t get mad at this but Apollo is probably my favorite because he was my first partner. You know, it was my first time. I got three tens for the first time, got to do the Pasa Doble for the first time and just experience everything for the first time so [Apollo] was definitely my favorite.”

Julianne on who she thinks would be great on DWTS…

“There are so many people that could be great on ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ Justin Timberlake would not be a bad dancing partner!”

A family is in her future…

“I’m starting to be more passionate about [eating natural foods]. I don’t want to have kids anytime soon, but when I do, I want my body to be healthy”

On staying fit while she’s on the road…

“It’s so hard to stay fit while you’re travelling, but for me it always makes me feel better on the inside if I’ve worked out.”

“I worked out this morning before the shoot. It was very early, but I made myself get up and do it and I’m so glad I did!”

“It’s what you want to feel on the inside, not necessarily what you want to look like on the outside.”

“I hate being in the gym, but I love taking Tracy Anderson classes because they’re fun and dance-y”

On the paparazzi and being photographed on her recent trip in Mexico with boyfriend, Ryan Seacrest…

“I was thinking, Oh, crap, maybe I should’ve sucked in a little. They were photographing us from a boat, and it was the first time I’ve gotten upset, like ‘I can’t just lay out and stuff my face?’ It really messes with you.”

On her body…

“Growing up, I could eat anything, but the minute I hit 22, I stopped dancing and kept eating whatever I wanted, and I gained weight. Then I started reading [critical] comments in blogs. That freaks you out and you get caught up in it. But if I deprive myself, I end up binge eating. I didn’t want to do that. Now if I want something, I’ll have it and I won’t feel guilty. Then the next day I won’t crave it.”

She’s determined…

“I know what I’m capable of, and I don’t ever want to sell myself short.
