E!’s Marc Malkin broke the news of the split between Dancing With The Star’s Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff and when they caught up with Maksim he says of the split:
“It’s a little rough right now,”
I feel bad for him, he looks so sad. What is the moral of this story single people? Never date someone you work with. Imagine having to see the person all the time after you have split up? That’s gotta hurt.

When they’re finished performing with their run of this show, it’s back to Los Angeles for Season 9 of Dancing With The Stars which starts September 21! The celebrity lineup announcement will take place August 17 live on Good Morning America.
A few more celebrities are rumoured to be considered for this season: Jeremy Roenick (recently retired NHL Star), Dean McDermott (yup, Tori Spelling’s husband) and Kurt Angle (WWE Wrestler).

Karina Smirnoff rocks some outfits from the Ed Hardy outlet at their corporate head office. She and Maks are busy planning their wedding, and by planning I mean they`ve hired a wedding planner, picked a month (June 2010) but not a day. They did want to originally have it in a castle, but Maks nixed that idea:
“We’re probably going to do something in Manhattan, I don’t know what,” he told PEOPLE “We’re moving along, but it’s not a fast process.”

Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovksiy were honoured last night at the Russian Heritage Festival in New York for their contributions to Russian Heritage. She looks absolutely beautiful, I would love to know who makes her lipstick and the colour.
