Kiefer Sutherland finally made it back from London where he was stranded because of the volcanic ash to attend the series finale party of his beloved 24 which was held last night at Boulevard 3 in Los Angeles.

We need to have some kind of day of mourning for the loss of Kiefer Sutherland and the cast of 24.  It’s still hard to believe we won’t be seeing Kiefer’s fine ass running around fighting terrorists on our televisions any more.  Thank gawd for DVD’s.

To me, Dennis Haysbert was the best POTUS ever! It is so nice to see him at this party, but I couldn’t find pictures of Elisha Cuthbert, Cherry Jones or Glenn Morshower who plays Aaron Pierce (omg I love Aaron Pierce).

And of course my invitation never arrived which pisses me off.  What a waste of a Brazilian.  If Kiefer needs some consolation for  this difficult time in his life he can reach me at the address on the restraining orders.  It’s still current.

Kim Raver along with KellyRutherford, Rachel Smith, Shontelle and Jennifer Hicks attend Modern Bride’s launch of ‘Project Bridesmaid’ to benefit Planet Hope in New York last night.

Where is Lipstick Jungle damn it?  I love that show and I know I’m not alone.  Just looked on NBC.com and it doesn’t say anything about it.  According to someone on the board:  Robert Buckley joined Priviledged, Lindsay Price signed for “Eastwick.” Kim Raver signed for new drama “Inside The Box” at ABC and now Andrew McCarthy has signed to do the Gossip Girl spinoff.

Does this mean no more Lipstick Jungle?  Tell me it isn’t so.

This is FABULOUS news!!!  Brooke Shields told reporters at Sunday’s Kidsfest in NYC:

“They thought that because My Own Worst Enemy has been shut down that the same thing had happened to us, and it’s not true,”

She went on to say the show is still going strong:

“They’re not breaking down the sets,” she added. “We’re still working. We still have more to do, so it’s erroneously presented that we’ve been canceled, thank God.

“Our bosses are saying, ‘You’re not canceled, don’t worry. We’re just trying to figure out how to make this make sense.’”

When it was first reported that Lipstick Jungle had been cancelled fans sent tubes of lipstick to Jeff Zucker, president & CEO of NBC Universal, as a show of protest for its `cancellation`and support for the show:

“It’s been insane,” she went on. “I think that the public outcry has been crazy, and it’s kind of wonderful.”

And Brooke herself is optimistic of the show`s staying power:

“I actually am,” Shields said. “I mean, we’re basically No. 1 if you look at DVR. And you look at all that. So the public is watching it.

“The problem that they have is it’s not the same day live,” she continued. “They just need to figure out how to reconcile advertisers’ money because the advertisers don’t want you fast forwarding commercials.”

If the show does get cancelled Brooke will be heartbroken:

“The family atmosphere and the excitement of being all together and working — that’s the perk,” she said. “I think they would be remiss if they decided not to continue next season.”

Kim Raver admits she would take it very hard if the show were cancelled:

“The main thing is that me and Brooke and Lindsay [Price] have such a great time, not to sound corny,”   “I think on Monday there are emergency meetings as to what’s going to go on. But I know the executives are really pushing it and believe in it.”

Now this is a GREAT way to start the week, am I right??????
