Lindsay Lohan was invited by eccentric billionaire Richard Lugner 77 to attend the Vienna Opera Ball as his guest which is considered to be quite an honour.

In the past he has taken Pamela Anderson, Dita Von Teese, Carmen Electra and last year Nicolette Sheridan attended.  He pays these women $150,000 to attend with him!!

According to PageSix Lindsay missed her flight because she was too busy shopping. Austrian papers are reporting that Lindsay held up a flight (not with gun…with her tardiness) from Los Angeles to London en route to Vienna to shop and couldn’t pay the $22k airline fee for the delay (let this be a warning to all travelers to make sure you set your alarm clocks…who knew about such a fee?).  Lugner told the Austrian press:

“She wanted to pay it, but her card’s credit limit was not high enough”

Apparently she had made some demands before the ball including no alcohol be left in her sight and asking that the date of the event be switched.  Sure Lindsay. They’ve only held the ball on the Thursday before Ash Wednesday since 1936, but we’ll change it for you so you can shop!

If Mr. Lugner is reading I am more than happy to accompany you to next year’s Ball. Kindly have your people fill out the contact form in the top right hand corner of my site, and we can make the arrangements.  Don’t worry baby, I won’t let you down. I’m not a big shopper at all so there will be no delay on my end.  Thanks!

Update:  According to GossipCop the part about the $22k bill is WRONGO!! This was a rumour started by some other ill-informed celebrity blogger (not me he he he).  I got my story from PageSix.  Aren’t they always right?  :)

As far as the Vienna Ball part, I still don’t know.  But it made for an interesting story, no?

Gossip Cop went right to Lindsay Lohan regarding a story that appeared in the U.K. Daily Mail when pills were seen in her purse headlining that there are fears she is slipping back into her old ways.  Says Lindsay:

“They are trazodone.”  “a non-narcotic sleeping aid for when I travel. They’ve been prescribed to me since I was in rehab!”

So there you have it.  Lindsay has also been in the news regarding her ‘hoarding’ issues and and gives The Insider a look into her closets.  How many effing shoes does a girl need?

You know, I actually feel bad for her given the attention seeking whores her parents are.  From the outside looking in, it seems their only concern is with their own fame and how much money they can make off of her.

Lindsay Lohan attended the launch of Vida at Voyeur last night barely concealing her rather large bits.  She put on a brave face amidst rumours of a 47 second sex tape of her being shopped around Hollywood.  This news is courtesy of the Daily Mail so I’m not sure just how much credence one should put on it.  Not that I care because, call me crazy, an existing sex tape of Lindsay doesn’t shock me.  I know, right?

According to the photos, the launch party is for the worlds most fashionable luxury pleasure object.  You know everyone got a freebie.

Rumours are circulating that Monday night, Lindsay Lohan was seen flirting with John Mayer at New York nightclub Butter and that they danced until 3 a.m. according to a source telling E! News:

“She would follow his every move,” he would dance with the waitresses and then come back. She was way into it.”

Way into it?  Then it’s got to be true! The next morning, Lindsay sent John a Twitter message:

shhhhhhhhhhhhhh butter-face

Here she is at LAX after flying in from New York where the showmance dance stalking incident took place.  She is wearing a hoodie (like John does) so perhaps his sense of style is rubbing off and a torrid showmance is just around the corner.  One can only hope.  I think this is going on my Christmas wish list.

Personally I can’t see these two in a love connection, but what do I know?  I live in my basement.  Can you see it?
