Vegetarian Leona Lewis turned down $1.85 Million to attend the opening of Harrods’ Summer Sale because the department store sells fur.

A vegetarian since the age of 12, she declined owner Mohammed Al Fayed’s offer because she does not want to be associated with fur in the slightest:

“I’m totally against animal cruelty. I don’t have clothes, shoes or bags made from any animal products.”

Apparently Kim Cattrell will take her place.
