I will be the first to admit I know very little about couture or high-end fashion. And I’m really okay with that. What I also know is I would never go out looking like Kirsten Dunst or Mary Kate Olsen did attending last night’s ‘Savage Beauty’ Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

I sense Kirsten’s discomfort as she stands close to Gisele Bundchen which must suck because it’s bad enough going out looking like that (her stylist must hate her guts), but to stand beside Glamazon Gisele who looks beyond stunning would make the most confident of people head back home. Do I see a look of distaste on Glamazon’s face?

As for Mary Kate Olsen, I’ve just completely given up hope of her ever looking like she didn’t just roll out of bed or finish smoking from a bong for the last 5 hours while listening to Jimi Hendrix. I detect a hint of a smirk creeping up on her face so perhaps we are making some progress I’m just too disillusioned to care.

Decked out in animal print was the gorgeous Brooklyn Decker, and in leather, a sexy and very happy Nicole Kidman rocked the red carpet with her uber sexy husband Keith Urban.  Dave Matthews also appears in the film and I’ve heard he’s quite funny in it.

The romantic comedy is described as:

On a weekend trip to Hawaii, a plastic surgeon convinces his loyal assistant to pose as his soon-to-be-divorced wife in order to cover up a careless lie he told to his much-younger girlfriend.

Last night I caught TMZ and their cameras caught up with the young girl in the movie, Bailee Madison and not only is she the sweetest kid you’ve ever met, she is so mature and smart beyond her years. They were trying to trick her into saying something negative about her co-stars and she told them she wasn’t falling for it. The girl will be 11 in October.

Judging from the trailers it actually looks pretty good and I’ve been hearing good things about it from those that have already seen it.

Pierce Brosnan, 57 and Sarah Jessica Parker, 45 are on location in Manhattan filming ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It’ Do you see how in the pics SJP has clothes pegs holding her boots up? I have them holding my undies up!

Rumour has it that there is going to be a Sex and The City PREQUEL based on Candace Bushnell’s ‘The Carrie Diaries‘:

“The prequel is about breathing new life into the story and exploring Carrie’s first few months in NYC and the beginning of her relationship with an older man”

Although they are denying it, word is that Blake Lively is being eyed to play young Carrie Bradshaw. Look wise it makes sense except of course for the height.  SJP is petite 5’3″ while Blake stands 5’8″.

The prequel will take place before Carrie met Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda. That would make it interesting but part of what makes the show so great is the comrade between the women.

SJP plays the breadwinner in this movie as a finance executive. Her outfit doesn’t really scream executive but perhaps it’s casual day in the office or they are filming a weekend scene.

Kiefer Sutherland spoke to Extra TV where he confirmed that the ’24′ movie is actually being worked on! Woo Hoo! He says:

“It’s a very difficult thing to take something you’ve done for eight years, almost two hundred episodes, and try to find a story that’s going to be unique and yet service the history of the show as well,”

The thought of Kiefer servicing anything puts me into my happy, happy, happy place. Not only is the movie in the works it will start shooting later this year! No word though on when it is expected to be released.
