I see Dancing With The Stars’ Rocco Dispirito is with a ‘guest’.  Was it just me or did you get the impression he had it bad for Karina Smirnoff when he was on Dancing With The Stars?  He may not have been the best dancer, but the man has a great physique…and he looks very, um, passionate.  You know where this is going, right?  I’m stopping now.

My biggest fears would have come true last night if it had of been a regular show:  Rocco Dispirito would have left   How sad.  He is so positive, nice and always smiling despite his dancing routine reviews.  I know she is an icon, but I can’t believe that Cloris Leachman would have stayed over him.  It’s not like she dances any better than him.  Although Susan Lucci has her dancing moments, and she seems very sweet, she has a huge fan base over someone like Rocco.

It almost seems like next week is pretty predictable, although with Dancing With The Stars one never knows.

Pretty uneventful night except for Kool and The Gang.  Loved them!!!  They got the place hopping.

I am totally loving this season, are you?  Brooke Burke was D-I-V-I-N-E.  The kiss to her daughter at the end of her dance brought a tear to my eye.  Seeing the behind-the-scenes footage of her and Derek really brings to light the emotion behind all the stress of preparing for a dance and juggling their lives and work.

Warren Sapp is just the sweetest guy, isn’t he?  Maurice Greene was also outstanding.  It’s breaking my heart to see Rocco Dispirito struggle.  He is a gem.  I love his smile and personality and physique.  It would be sad to see him go, but I don’t know how big his fan base is compared to others.  I would have thought Kim Kardiashian had a big enough fan base to keep her in the game.

So tonight we learn how they will compensate for Misty May-Treanor’s untimely departure.  Lots of rumours are speculating that they will bring Kim Kardashian back, but I find that hard to believe.  First of all, sorry to say, her dancing was not very good.  On top of that, how would they justify bringing her back, but not someone like Ted McGinley (who was not that bad). 

If you noticed last night, Hugh Hefner’s girlfriend/ex-girlfriend/girlfriend in transition was in the audience.  I wonder if she will be asked to join or will they just modify the show’s format to accomodate this glitch?

The celebs and dancers of Dancing With The Stars are seen outside on the set in between rehearsals:  Julianne Hough, Derek Hough, Corky Ballas, Cheryl Burke, Karina Smirnoff, Lance Bass, Rocco Dispirito and Cody Linley. 

I can not wait to see what next week brings!!

For the first time ever there will be 13 stars as opposed to the regular 12.  As well, Cody Linley is the youngest star ever to appear on Dancing With The Stars, he will team up with Julianne Hough.  Once I find out who all the celebs are matched up with I will post here.  The new season airs September 22.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been waiting a long time for this.  I love this show!!
