Does Jennifer Hudson look divine or what?  Elton John threw his 18^th Annual  AIDS Foundation Academy Award party at the Pacific Design Centre yesterday and it was totally a who`s who of the celebrity world including Katie Price for goodness sakes.

Elton John established the EJAF (Elton John Aids Foundation) in 1993 in the United States and has gone on to have division in the U.K. with projects in 55 countries to raise AIDS/HIV Awareness.

Elton`s pals K.D. Lang (LOVED her rendition of Hallelujah at the 2010 Winter Olympics opening ceremony), and Victoria Beckham were there also.

Heidi Klum wore a shirt.  Hello legs!

This just proves my point that we, as women, are WAY too hard on ourselves.  If Salma Hayek doesn’t feel sexy what is wrong with this world?  Salma says it’s not her body that is great but she dresses it properly!

“I won a ‘Best Body Award’ from Fitness Magazine and I was too embarrassed to accept it. I actually don’t have a good body, but if everybody thinks so, I guess it means I’m a good actress. I have acted the part of the girl who has a very good body. If you know how to dress, there’s some tricks you can pull.”

We need to be a little more accepting of ourselves I think.  How she can not stare at herself in the mirror naked for hours I just don’t understand.  I would never leave my house.   

Salma thinks the fashion world has a little too much say in what is considered attractive:

“What do we call ugly now? It’s anybody that is not super-skinny and really tall. Some people think they’re ugly just because they don’t reach that standard. I personally have seen a lot of really skinny tall models that maybe I think are ugly and they need to eat a little to look healthy.”

While some women are naturally super-skinny, I think women spend too much time depriving themselves and obsessing about thinness.  We are all guilty of it.   This madness needs to stop.  What say we all have a donut today?

Salma Hayek appeared on Jimmy Kimmel live last night and talks about planning her daughter’s birthday party and how she was willing to hit the black market for a ‘Barney’ to appear at the party.

She is promoting her movie ‘Cirque du Freak:  A Vampire’s Assistant’ in which she has a beard and moustache.  It opens in theatres Friday.  I think Jimmy Kimmel has it bad for Salma!

Brad Pitt shops solo in SoHo.  Let the rumours begin.  I included all five pictures although there is very little change with him in each one, but it’s interesting to see the people in the background.  Almost like recognizing it’s Brad Pitt is an afterthought.
